Did I mention that i've been having a tuff time with my brain lately?!
Lemme try again..none of them ever hear the loud vibrating/humming noise that i hear regularly, tho maintenance insisted that everyone hears it and it's "normal" but I'm the only one that's complaining.
Oh, and the complex manager was here with the grounds keeper, last week,her in the upstairs apartment and the guy in my apartment listening for that sound, which he heard LOUD n clear when she turned on the a/c. and let it run for a while.
Is it all clear now or am i still being tlaking in garbledeegook?

Anybody around tonight. Once again insomnia struck but, this time I just got up and will stay up until tiredness sets in again. Probably another hour or so.

Two more nights of adventure..........oh yeah.............let's see what I managed to do today. Wound up escorting passengers as they disembarked from the aircraft. Managed to get the forklift stuck in soft grass while loading a 250lb offshore tool..............had to make a halfway run for a part that some baby mechanic just COULDN'T wait for..........all of this in a short matter of three hours.........and THEN I was able to get to MY work. That's what I love about being here. It's always an adventure. I never know what's going to happen on any given day.
Suggestion-- if they won't resolve the root problem, can you trade apts with someone with a hearing loss? I have a setting on my HA's which filters out the sound of fans-- my air filter and AC together can become problematic at times.

If they refuse to fix the AC problem, offer moving as an option, if THEY do the moving. That should get them to rethink their choice.
The problem with giving that option is that you have to be prepared to follow through if management calls the bluff and says "OK". I'd offer something I'd be willing to do, like live rent-free until the problem was fixed.

That we are... on track - especially with the current forecasts - to being the hottest June ever, to having the most days over 80 (in June) ever, driest June ever.... average moisture content of vegetation is about one half normal for this time of year... doesn't bode well for the fire season, which of course is true for all of us on the West Coast.
(And personally, I agree. We don't fly Britain's Union Jack at the White House, even though it's part of our history...)

I have to ditto that, although mine is pretty much silver white these days, I am happy to report I still have (most) of my hair .. however, in my case, it was not just a misspent youth, but pretty much extended through middle age and beyond ..
