Oh, please... diatribe away. Patriotism is not about blind loyalty. That would be Nationalism... and does not really belong in a free country.
and the U.S. is nominally free.
Well said and happy birthday!
Free people do question and often disagree with their government it is their duty to do so.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KEN!!

Happy Birthday, Ken! It is your day, enjoy it to the max.

Thank you, Janet. Our marriage was neither of our first and we were each determined to NOT make the same mistakes we had made prior in life. We didn't drink and didn't allow alcohol in our house. We were both Catholics, her since birth and me by choice, so religion and spirituality played a big part in our life. I'm a firm believer that a shared faith is extremely important for the success of a relationship. My point to this is to say that I have loads of wonderful memories.

Thank you, Sushigirl, hugs are always appreciated. I have a peaceful day planned. Even having a plan to thoroughly whip my daughter's tush at Ladder Ball in a little while. The only stress is trying to figure out what to cook for dinner.

Happy Birthday Ken!

Happy Birthday Ken. Here's to many more!:bday::banana:

Well HEY. What's been going on. See Kitty is doing great. They sure like those bathroom sinks don't they. Just purrfect for them to curl up in. Ours used to love it. Been busy learning all I can about Titanium and I think it is going to be a "Game Changer" All the good parts of nickel with the longevity of kanthal maybe even longer. Can't wait to try it. I'm waiting to get some stuff from Stealth Vapes that is supposed to be better well maybe not better then some as good but much cheaper even with shipping from the UK. Have to wait for Rob to spool it up and ship it out. He has had it for a while but he wanted to make sure that it was completely safe before he sold it to his customers. Could get it right now from some other places but I think his will be worth the wait. I will check in on the Hangout tonight and see if anyone is there will try to keep my conversation away from what I have learned about Ti. Just BS like everyone else. LOL Talk at you all later.

4-0 is like a basketball score in soccer. Damn!
All sports, but hockey and soccer in particular, benefit SO much from the improvements in TV technology.

I remember watching the NY Rangers on TV when I was a kid on Channel 9, WOR (or was it Channel 11, WPIX?).... either way, very iffy reception, lots of static on the screen, REALLY difficult to follow the action.... black and white TV in the living room, maybe a 12" screen? When I went to college that I found out that hockey was played not just with sticks but with a puck too, which was practically invisible when I had watched on TV. :)

Oh, and auto racing too... much better now... almost worth watching sometimes. :)

What do you think of the graphics during the halftime show? I haven't watched the live part of the game. Do they have the arrows and circles and such on it?
