I don't know, but, apparently, based on the link that Cromwell posted earlier, I'd at least guess you must be going thru a high cycle now :

No clue, since I've never lived in the area they occur in. I just remember visiting family in the areas & their conversations about how bad it was that particular year as opposed to the past. Including several Great Grandparents discussing quakes they & their parents experienced prior to 1900. I always eavesdropped on the grownups & was fascinated by the stories they told & their memories.

Well I actually had a good day yesterday. The real biggie is that after an exchange of messages about problems I've been having with the dreaded "walking boot" and what to do he said that I should be able to just use a supportive pair of shoes.:D :D

Things will go way faster if I don't have to have that monstrosity strapped on every time I get up. Of course my supportive shoes are 70 miles away. I hadn't been planning on ordering more shoes, and of course when I'm in a hurry there aren't any fun ones available in my odd size - you know, the size and shape that makes it possible to go snorkel without needing fins.

Then when I got back to my room there was a package from China waiting for me. The prize I won in the innokin contest. And much sooner than I expected, since it made it from China in less than a week.

It's kind of naked without a topper, but that's just one more incentive to get out of this place.
That's great news! Bad nws that your shoes are so out of reach!

salt doesn't even make my top 25. I just don't use it, and haven't missed it since I stopped automatically adding it to everything.

Yep, the only thing that I add salt to is mashed potatoes and grits - there is so much salt in everything already... And no - I do not have blood pressure problems, but I did used to put salt on everything - shoot - I would put salt on salt if it was served to me...

Yep ... that was me too years ago. I was always used to reaching for the salt shaker before I even picked up my fork. Can't tell you how many times Janet said "did you taste it first", as I was applying the salt liberally. She finally broke me of the habit.

Couldn't resist telling you what I did to someone.....once upon a time, that grabbed the salt shaker before even tasting the food.......I let him invite friends to dinner.....Fixed a beautiful pot roast, complete with brown gravy..........and about a pound of salt........

yeah well but I would gladly drop the hot pepper powder in favor of salt. Hot pepper causes me too much pain.

OKay, I thought I was the only one. Even now I have to watch myself. When I cook, I go lightly, but when it comes to my own plate, if it doesn't taste right, it doesn't taste right and out comes the salt! Luckily I don't have high blood pressure problems.
