Oh, yes... the reason I popped in this morning... Windows 10 is cool and all, but the info-gathering is on the Federal spy level!!!
you probably want to opt-out of several things like
Microsoft personalised ad preferences

also go to settings - Privacy and opt-out of anything there that seems to be suspicious. Like the program that uses your microphone to listen to everything you say

Thanks for this info Ken. I am waiting for a few days before I download and install Windows 10 so some of the bugs can hopefully be worked out.

I sometimes watch some local news otherwise it is PBS and movies on the net or vaping reviews

I'm like you. I don't care for the prime time dramas. I also love my DirecTV.

Can't watch anything other than locals without it. She's got an 18" round dish on the roof so I get TV just not HD until the move is completed. Hopefully when I call DirectTV about moving they'll upgrade me to the Genie system. They should. If you've been a regular customer of DirectTV for a while don't even talk to the first person that answers the phone. Request to be transferred to "Customer Retention", they're a LOT more cooperative. It's their job to keep you as a customer. Not as obnoxious as COMCAST/XFinity either, thank God!

Why does Amazon do this? Seven little bottles we ordered. They wrapped each little bottle in three yards of paper, and put each single bottle (one) into seven BIG boxes, then put the seven big boxes into one GIANT box. Why did a tree have to die in order for Amazon to ship seven little boxes?

Just wow! I'd open all of them, put just like you did with that one, & take a pic from the feedback. They always ask about packaging & was it enough, too much or just enough. are those glass bottles in there?

Saw this this morning and thought of you...

That was our last boat, a 36 ft. cabin cruiser. We got rid of that one....not our problem anymore. Our new boat is a 231 (23 ft) Nautic Star Coastal and awesome!!! We will never own a bigger boat, EVER again.
