I give up.....DHL made an attempt to deliver my package to......Harrisburg..........
Can't anybody read a zip code? why do we have them?

Since my daughter has been living with me, we have started recycling a lot of our household waste. One day after putting out our trash and the recycle bin, when I went out to bring them in the recycle bin was missing. Before I could call about it, the worker that drives around repairing or replacing the trash bins came by the house to replace a trash bin that had a hole in the top. I mentioned the recycling bin coming up missing and he said we lived in a rural area and recycling wasn't available. After explaining to him how all of us in the area have been using them for years. He just said, "whatever" and told me grab another one off his truck. I wanted to "jack slap" him for the "whatever" remark.

I did not like the "whatever remark" and the latest one "It is what it is". Both suck green weenies.

Does UPS have trouble finding you? Maybe you need to talk to someone about how your address is listed? Or have you looked up your address on the GPS to see how it's listed there? Could be throwing them off. Just guessing here.

LOL....nope...UPS and Fed Ex don't have any trouble finding me. A couple of weeks ago I had the same situation with USPS.....trying to deliver some place near Harrisburg....spent a good long time on the phone getting that one straightened out. This time it was DHL....delivering to some place in Harrisburg. If they'd look at the darn zip codes they'd see they were in the wrong town/city/burrough. This is getting to be all too frequent and extremely annoying. Last week it was someone just too lazy to finish his/her shift and claimed to leave a notice......that was USPS. Spent an hour on hold to get that reported and package delivered the next day.

So far, it's only been the postal service that leaves a notice saying they tried to deliver. All the while me sitting right there waiting for a package. Obviously, they never knocked or rang the bell because I was right there and would have heard it.

One time, the only reason I found the notice (laying in a puddle in front of the door) was because I was tracking it and saw that they left a notice!

Dancing.....I was right here.....got both an email and text message....ran out side, as nothing had been put through my mail slot and checked.....nothing in the only other apt. mailbox either. I was on the phone within 5 minutes. I've got a yappy little dog that barks at every noise he hears.....the person just plain did NOT leave a notice. Clearly a case of it's Friday, after 5 PM and just wanted to finish their shift without bothering to deliver.

Yaaay. Who has a Carvel near them... Ours has buy 1 get free special every nite. So my boo goes and gets 1 and 1 free. .. like I need the calories.. lol

Reminds me of the mail slots at Post Offices into which you put your outgoing mail. They were labeled "in town" and "out of town". On the work floor of the Post Office, the first thing that was done was to dump the two hampers into the same larger hamper.

Later, it was "mail bundled by Zip Code" and "mail not bundled". The first thing done with that was to take the rubber bands off the bundles and dump everything together.

There was one exception: on Saturday night only, only the "out of town" mail was worked. On Sunday, only the "in town" mail was worked. I'm talking about how things were 25 years ago, but I'm sure there are still places where the labels on the mail slots have not been changed.

I got ya all topped we ordered $500 worth of stuff from Russia April 1st so far 1 of 3 parcel have come though the other 2 got sent by sailing vessel back to Russia 1 came right through but no one can read a zip code if it is not placed at the bottom right of the address. They all made it to the US once but back to Russia and before they are dispatched from there again by ship they have to have a full container. Normal shipping takes 6-8 weeks but now we don't know if we will see the other 2 and 1 of them has all the big bottles of flavor which if bought in the US would cost about $3000. Thats the one place that sells it and I think it is dilluted. I tried one and then got a real one and what a difference.

If you don't believe me on the price VZ is the one that sells it under their name the VZ Gourmet concentrate. They sell it for $7.99 the Russian sells it to the general public for 94 cents. I'm sure they get it cheaper then that and then add a little extra VG PG.
