Is it trombonist or tromboner?

(You have no idea how clever I think I am right now.)

Bartender, gimme two of whatever he's havin'.

Bonist or trombonist, clever one. Or slightly raunchier but still common: bone player. No, I don't want to sleep with you.

Yes, I've got any hoarding tendencies completely under control. None of these musical instruments have been purchased in recent years. All of them 5 years or more ago. Missing from picture (because they're in other rooms): 2 full-sized electric pianos, a cello, a baritone horn, some instrument repair tools and the rest of the drum set.

These were all over the house before The Big Cleanup. The plastic shelving: my sister's great idea again.

{{{{{Bells}}}}}. You are an amazing man. It took a great deal of courage to do what you did, and a great deal more to trust enough to talk about it. Jean sounds pretty great, as well!

No problem, i just didn't listen to 'those' words. [emoji23]

Matt - ya can't get rid of tools. Maybe you could fill a USPS flat rate box and mail them to Florida. ;)

Yikes! I've got 10 pound sledge hammers, 2 foot pipe wrenches to name a couple of things I consider 'muscle' tools. I sure don't plan on ever using 'em again - but dang to part w/ them - they've been around so long they're part of the family.
Yeh, what he said! Nah, these are goodwill quality tools not, keeping quality. If they was keeping quality they'd be in the socket drawer of da tool box.

Or to Georgia Matt - if you like!!! I can always make room in my mess for tools... :D Oh, an Mike if you change your mind - I could use one of those 10lb sledges and pipe wrenches to boot. :2cool: Just kidding - I have the perfect outsource for my aged tools - I send them to the Philippines - My wifes brother was still using hand drills and hand saws for everything - you should have seen his face when I gave him a 21oz framing hammer...
Do they 110v power. You pay to ship I have a top of the line craftsman digital radial arm saw I think I'll give him. Accurate to 100th of an inch, used about 4 times. Taking up space.

If that's the treatment option you should probably see a "Human" Doctor rather than a veterinarian.

Also, I feel like Dr's get a secret award at some secret Dr convention held at some secret place sometime during the year. "And the award for most evasive and noncommittal answers goes to..."
I know you're kidding but, they're sometime evasive and noncommittal because they just don't know however, I don't think that's the case in this instance.

And I was going to show that video to my Sunday school class... *aghast* :)

I'm told by more than one source that sometimes when I'm sleeping I mumble cuss-words. *shrug*

So ladies and gentlemen, if you are of a delicate disposition, you should un-think sleeping with me.
Don't worry, did that a long time ago.

Concerning my last post. ^^^^^

ALL GENTLEMEN SHOULD UNTHINK SLEEPING WITH ME!!

(Brain is kinda slow tonight and that did not come out the way it sounded in my mind.)
Just add "in the same room" and you'll be ok.

Deb, I thought you were going to try to get some sleep. I'm delighted to hear from you, but you need to rest, sweet pea!

I'm a "thrower away-er." My late husband was a pack rat; when we moved to VA, I would bag up stuff for the trash people, and he would cart the bags back into the house. He grew up with very little, and thought more was better. It was sad. I have a couple of shoe boxes - my treasure chests - with a few momentos from the people I love. That's it. But it seems to be enough for me.

Thanks, it's a really nice saw but, with all the trouble on Craigslist what with the robberies and such, it's easier sometimes to just give it away. It cost almost $600 or more new. I'll bet they could use it over there.

One is a flutist, the other just plays a good flute.

Not as common in the US as some other places, but I've heard it many times: flautist, pronounced "floutist". Too snobbish-sounding for most of us. If ya plays da flute, you's a flutist. (But what's a piccolo player? A piccolist?)

Unbiased opinion: no better part for piccolo has ever been written than in John Philip Sousa's "Stars and Stripes". The trombone parts are awesome too.

I went to bed when the yawns hit, even slept for about an hour or so, then the kidneys kicked in and now I'm awake. Going to give it another try in a bit. Deb sorry your still up. I always say goodnight but, sometimes I don't see your reply till morning but, I DO see it and appreciate it. ☺
