Poked my head in the Hangout for a second just to see if it worked for me .. I think my bandwidth must be low .. I'm streaming some hi res video at the same time, but it looks like if I start clean, it will work out .. what kind of audio / video quality do you usually get .. ??

I'm able to open the clips just fine and the sound is good too. No problems that's I've seen in that department. Pictures seem to post small, but if you click on them they open larger pretty quickly.

Well duh, that was dumb of me. You were talking about the hangout. The one time Mike and I were there we could see Matt and Bells just fine, but Bells was stuttering and the audio was messed up. Not sure what that was all about.

Dudes been making them for almost 50 years and they have a hell of a guarantee. Name means nothing. Quality of product is all that really counts.

Have you checked the pricing on those Teeter'sTotter's? You know it's a.... really not good sign when they never mention a price in an infomercial.

I'm thinking of keeping 3 or 4 chickens when we get out to the country. A lot of cities these days allow chickens, at least around here (Virginia). Down in South Florida I'm not sure so I'll have to wait until we get down there.
My big question is what the heck I do with all the eggs, even 4 chickens will overload me with eggs pretty quickly. Do all hens lay daily? I don't really know. I want eggs but will end up giving some of them away.

Good way to make friends with your neighbors unless you also get a rooster! And Doree will probably come up with a few recipes to use them up too.

Commentary on Chickens .. Nasty Creatures and Sometimes just Flat out Mean .. Great if you're Doing the Chicken Dance .. they eat, they poop (and as with Birds in general, it's #1 and #2 at the same time due to digestive tract) .. they strut around like they own the place .. If I want an egg, I'll buy some .. Sorry Matt, you're my Brother From Another Mother, but sometimes it's just time for an intervention .. you want a Yard Bird .. ?? Get a Peacock .. they look great and are quite mellow ..

Oh no! Not a peacock! Gorgeous birds, but they got a scream that could wake the dead! One of the neighbors down the street had some and we're sure glad we weren't close neighbors!

Kids left for their hotel a bit ago and I had a few minutes to read back!

I'm going to try and make it for Tuesday night........

I have an inversion table and love it........use it for just 1-2 minutes at a time and the relief on my back is amazing. I should get on it every day, but I find I only use it when I'm in pain. I actually feel taller after using it and probably am because it does stretch the spine.
Everyone who visits with us uses it and they love it and usually 'ooh' and 'aah' while they're on it.
Just don't look at yourself in the mirror while on it.......LOL

We got ours from HSN at a very decent price.....@200......flex pay, of course, so it didn't take a chunk out of our wallet.

TBH, I'm a total n00b wid da vid capability we have access to. But, I'll gladly remove my 'puter' camera 'mask' in order to repeat my first experience wid BB! Actually, it's a hoot.

Keep in mind, chances are dat dis is da closest we'll ever to be able to experience a 'face-to-face' gathering due to mileage! It's ever so easy to be entranced by porch words. But I've never been disappointed with da 'face-to-face' contacts! For some, hopefully many, just stop and think of receiving a 'like', porch PM or email dat draws ya closer to our 'family . Da rewards and appreciation is uncalculable. Dis would be a daring and rewarding next step fer da reluctant!

Please don't be concerned 'bout appearance! Our genre is quite knowledgeable of our age and yesteryears. But to 'share' is priceless!

Jup! Still remember when I was in 5th grade, we were given an assignment to look up words in the dictionary. One of em was bastille, and when I read when it was destroyed, without thinking, I said real loud.......that's my birthday!!!
