Sounds like you had a fun day Janet. Also sounds like your really enjoying the I-stick. I am using a IPV3 right now. Thing goes to 150 watts and I have never vape it above 20 watts, right now I'm vaping a Kayfun Lite V2, 1.3 ohm coil at 13 watts. Working great. I really want an SX-Mini M series. Just watched one of Busardo's review on it. Temp control got good marks. I really want to try temp control and like the looks of the SX Mini. Price and battery life are what's stopping me. $200 and it eats batteries. If it had dual batteries in series or parallel it would be different. Hopefully YiHi will sell the SX-350J chip for us hobbyists and I can build my own version.
Only thing is he didn't use it right. He did his vaping with it at 40-50J which is really way to high. Optimal resistance is .065ohms so 26awg is the best wire to use 7 wraps. 28 works well too but if you want 7 wraps you get .085ohms still works well. Only have to use 18-25J. The closer you are to .065 the more accurate it is. There are still a lot of people who like the DNA but they are 2 completely different animals. The DNA is from what I hear more accurate but the SX is a lot easier to build on. Also they have a tube that fits on the bottom you put an 18650 in it and one in the device then screw the tube into the battery cap hole. Giving you 120w in Power mode but in Joules mode it just give you more battery life. The chip is designed so that when you add the tube it automagically senses it and changes over to 120w. The DNA you have to be good with building good coils then it works fine. I wasn't.

What ... no alligator wresting or shark riding? ;)

I am not and never have been an alligator wrestler but I do enjoy the company they provide while kayaking.

Sharks in shallow water are always interesting, too.

Oh and they do sell the chip I believe at Varitube

I've seen

hurricanes that put a palm frond through a 10" telephone pole like an arrow!

I've seen Australian pine trees dat looked like porcupines with wind driven pine needles in da trunk as quills!

but if you look close ..

Musta been 'round Christmas, part of a holiday wreath!

Heh, seems odd how those old fav things seem to grow legz. :/

Da clothes or ex-lady friends?

My other Hawaiian shirt is black with pink flamingos on it.

Yepper, 'nother play on flaming flamingos!

Actually, I'd buy one if I saw it in a local store.

I need a little help from my friends.
This part we can help with!!

I can't figure out how to do common tasks on the new format.
and this part! We could do a hang out if ya want. Helped me when the site came up and bells and I explored ECF together. Helped each other figure it out.

Queen Elizabeth didn't follow this trend. Isn't too many heirs to the crown a bad thing?
Lilac beat me to it. But jup the current one has 4 kids. Edward, Andrew, Charles and Anne. Her mother just had two, her and Margaret.

If they bred like rabbits there would be hares to the throne.
laugh pt girl laughin hard, bangin hand on table.gif
 Aren't you the clever one!

This one is, looking from the main deck to part of the back yard.
Wow, that's gorgeous!!!

Well I got 2 thats me furthest left second row 5th grade
awwwww what a cutie pie!!!

Found out today that our next door neighbor has a girl friend that might be interested in buying it with the understanding that it won't be on sale for a couple of months.
kewl!! Really hope it sells super quick for y'all when ya put it on da market!

Two things on my bucket list that I'll probably never get done now are to see a volcano eruption and a hurricane in person. I've seen blizzards ad tornados, and a moderate earthquake
I've done the hurricane and blizzard, (was up all day and night before hand, so slept through the worst part of the hurricane on a boat tied up under the 610 bridge). No tornadoes , cept those spawned by the hurricane, but I didn't see em. Son was in a small quake in Cali, thought it was kewl!

By the time you realize that you should have evacuated it's way too late for that. I've seen hurricanes that put a palm frond through a 10" telephone pole like an arrow!
Jup....and .... Jup! We say a playing card and other paper items driven through a telephone pole.

Probably could have gotten another day out of it. I'm really liking it. The rounded edges are more comfortable in my hand than the MVP and the button is on the rounded edge so it's easy to find and easy to push.
kewl!!!

then, I read thru the discussion on "The Polyester Suit" .. so, yeah, I had one ...
Nice!! You were and still are such a handsome feller!! totally agree with ya on the low rider jeans. We had to be pretty skinny to do the hip huggers, but I was then. For the music, I love most everything you play! I think most of us have a very ecclectic range of musical tastes. I love just about everything. Don't like most rap, or today's heavy metal. I do like some ac/dc but thats not today's metal, they're just still playin it!

Never said a word just lost it at the laundromat.
hehehe I could never do that, but sometimes nature takes it's own course. Ex had a pair of totally ratty shorts, hated em, waist band was completely gone. He'd never let me toss em, til the one day he was cookin bacon, you can imagine where the grease popped him! (no undies on under them shorts) he tossed em himself with extreme prejudice!!

My other Hawaiian shirt is black with pink flamingos on it. I had it on when I was in the Hangout with Iffy, so he's seen it.
Love the one in that pic!!

but I do enjoy the company they provide while kayaking.
Yipes!!

Hopefully YiHi will sell the SX-350J chip for us hobbyists and I can build my own version.

Been using a DNA40 for the last 3 days. First day I used an RDA w/ twisted 32g Ni200 @ .21Ω & a KGD wick. I found around 22 watts it was working well for me. I could even cut down on the air flow and the vapor wasn't harsh or hot like w/ a kanthal build. A kanthal build, I'd have to keep the air flow opened up. The real advantage though was 'no dry hits' using temp protect mode. I could basically vape the wick dry and still no harsh/hot hits. That was a win for me w/ a dripper. Much more so than any other difference between a kanthal and nickel coil w/ temp protection.

Next two days I've been using a Kayfun Lite. The coil is 3mm ID w/ 9 wraps of NI200 wicked w/ KGD. Initially it was .14Ω. It changed to .15Ωs after replacing the tank after the 1st refill and is holding there now. I wasn't sure how well the Kayfun's airflow would be but it's just fine. Flavor and vapor production are good for me @ 14watts. I can go to 22-25 watts but not liking the flavor at that level. I started at 510F for the temp protection and now I'm at 450F. I can take long double pulls without hitting the 'temp protection' shut off.

I'm still too new to it but my initial impression is not a significant difference from a Kanthal build and a regulated PV w/o temp protection (not counting the 'plus' of no dry hits w/ a dripper). I do seem to notice on long 'pulls' and/or 'double pulls' it's somewhat less 'scratchy/bitey/harsh/hot' (hard to describe what I'm tasting/feeling). I think w/ the temp protection and power to the coil going up/down, the vapor doesn't heat up like when you just hold the button down on normal regulated mod and the coil just continues to heat up. The temp of the vapor is consistent throughout the draw. I do like it better than my other regulated mods - but at this time I'm not seeing a significant difference.

2legs - so what's your opinion of the quality of the vape w/ the SXMini compared to your P3?

My next try will be w/ a Taifun GT. It has much more airflow than the Kayfun.

On the Jeans Bellbottom Talk from a day or two ago .. the pinnacle of Ladies Jeans was IMO, the late 1960's early to mid 1970's .. I have always been fond of the higher waisted style with a medium bell bottom .. never really cared for the giant bell bottoms .. and todays Womens Jeans, especially the low cut variety, seem to be designed for the most unflattering look Humanly possible .. I'm sorry if I'm being offensive, but the "Muffin Top Look" .. ?? Really .. ?? Women have to be pretty slender to pull off these low cut jeans ..

And, I'll add .. I slapped myself across the forehead when I read thru the Musical Taste Discussion Jag .. people must think I'm a Dinosaur based on some of the vids I've posted over the years going back to the 1950's .. well, I am a dinosaur, I guess that explains it ..

Totally agree about the low cut jeans/pants whatever. If the woman has a gut or a .... it's the most unflattering thing she could wear. I couldn't even convince my daughter that the "waist" wasn't at hip level. How can you not know where your waist is?? I remember being able to wear the low rise bell bottoms with style, but that was another lifetime.

Hey, what's the matter with dinosaurs? They're fascinating and who doesn't like them?

I love em. Even I can build a coil that works and I have 2, I the coil has been in over a week and not a problem. What makes it so much better for me is the super low resistance it uses. I ordered some 26awg which will give me the wick coverage cause 7 wraps puts you right on the resistance it is built around. But even with 28 I run 7 wraps between .08-.09 at 410degrees 18J in soft mode in the morning then standard mode till evening then I go back to soft. If you chain vape the vapor will drop off a little but I just pump the Joules up to 20 then 23 and it takes care of it. Then if I set it down for a while its right back to the way it was when I started. I love em. I hardly vape the Kanthal. The Kanger STM is one of the best atties on here. My K4 is strictly for Kanthal in my opinion on my P3. Great combo and taste. Thats the way I am going to keep it too, you can't in my opinion make the V4 taste any better then what it was built for. It is probably the best flavor I have found nickel is a close second.

I knew you would be able to get the rDNA to work right. A lot of guys have and I have tried their style and I just couldn't get it. I knew if anyone was going to get it right it would be you. The SX is more my style I have never built a coil that didn't work great on it all I use is the Kanger they seem to be the best for it.

Wow I think I just had an attack of Afib. Never have really experienced it before. Kinda scary. Lasted about 30min, pulse jumped to 120 and I could feel my whole body pulsing. Hope I don't have that again for another 2 years. Used to get it in the first 6 months after heart surgery but not since.

jup have always wondered this myself! And men never know where their waist is! It is NOT under yur dunlop! lol

My dil always wore those low rider jeans.....Everytime I'd see that girl when they were dating, invariably she'd bend over and everyone would be seein her .... crack!! Really??? told my son one day, I don't know how this doesn't bother you. He said, what makes you think it doesn't??? I think after a couple years she must have finally gotten the message.

The trick with the SX is staying close to that .065 and it will stay accurate which is easy to do with NI200 don't even need tempered it is such a regular coil. I wrap it on my coil master and stretch it out and push it back together let it spring out and a perfectly wrapped spaced coil. More my speed.

Not good, Legs! Knowing what it is helps, of course, but maybe you should at least talk to your doc...

But we had the BodySuit...the tops with the snaps in the crotch that didn't come untucked :)

(and if our tops were short, they were tight so you couldn't see up them )
