Have you already had the cataract surgeries? Mine aren't bad enough for that yet, but SIL just had her eyes done. One did really well, the other one not so much.

Had mine done over eight years ago, month apart. I wouldn't hesitate to have 'em done again if da need arises!

I was hoping Iffy would, but no such luck!

Hey, I had all da fixings fer my Blackberry ginger ale/vodka coolers and woulda been glad to share! If ya see me duck down to da right, dat's da GA and vodka. When I dip to da left, it's fer da blackberry flav. Yepper, I still like to rock n' roll; but lately it's more like duck, dip n' sip...

Wish I had Iffy's dancing Snoopy; he'd be scampering across the page right now!

OMG, ya just reminded me of an incident at Da Nang AB, RVN. Toward da end of my tour, hot dang, a Vietnamese laundry was opened at one end of Camp Da Nang (USAF side).

Bundled up my fatigues and hustled down dere. "Wash and very light starch, please". Three hours later, picked up my 'package' and was impressed with their work and prices!

Reported to work da next morn as da 'sharpest' A2C (airman second class) 'in country'. While changing out an F4 radar threat scope on da flightline, sweating in da relentless heat, I noticed an unpleasant odor. Checked 'round the cockpit and found nuttin' suspicious. As I walked back to my shop, dat odor seemed to follow me.

Well, come to find out, da laundry used fish bone meal as their 'starch'. Heat, sweat and 'activated' FBM equals...

So much fer starch stench...

LMAO you Air Force guys are too much. Just Kidding. My Son in Law is in the AF planning to reup next year and taking his E-5 test next month.

Well I missed the big chat party, but I did yack with Deb for awhile before the big kick off. Then ate a big dinner got sleepy and fell victim, to the sleepies. The gravitational pull of a pillow rivals that of a black hole. Hey it's not like I'll never get to hang with everyone sooner or later. I've also pretty much given up on adding a provari banner too my sig. everything I've tried has failed. Such is life in the non-tecky world. I even had a hard time posting pic's of paintball stuff I'm trying to get rid of. And I used to do that as easy as breathing. Go figure? I'm almost on the verge of archiving all that I have left and waiting a few years and having an antique sale.

My son got home from a month of training today. Once the paperwork is done and approved, he will be promoted to Sergeant First Class in the Florida National Guard!!!! One proud mother here!

I just discovered that the "10 chars" requirement is no more. Woo hoo! And more "Woo Hoo": still in remission! Start up chemo again in 2 weeks. I'm so grateful. Wish I had Iffy's dancing Snoopy; he'd be scampering across the page right now!

I miss bowling sometimes - had to give it up about the time I was finally getting the hang of it.

Had my first surgery last week.

As long as I do not end of getting kicked it is all good...
