Hi @ricks - welcome to the back porch. No age checks, no age requirements. Just make yourself at home. Seen you around different area of ECF - might have 1st met you in Scubabat's ceramic thread.

The back porch is for 'whatever' topic of the day comes along. Since it's in the lounge we can talk 'bout most anything. We also have a front porch in the general forum area. There we try to keep 'on topic' to vaping, mods, juice, DIY, etc.
I know you. We've been in many threads together. Haven't seen Scubabat in a long time...

Hi, First reply here. Just got a new Mod.
Hi Ricks, Glad you made it. Welcome to the back porch. Ran into your post over in the other forum and thought that you would be a good fit here and versa visa. Pull up a chair, get comfortable and feel free to chime in. I think you actually have been here before, correct?

Just another mod to add to my collection. I was invited here from someone I have not heard from in a while. I'm just an "almost" old man enjoying vaping and lovin it.
There is no age requirements here. Used to say there was but, we've allowed so many "younger" types that is really has been OBE (overcome by events).

What's the other??? Am I there too?
The back porch is for bull shooting, any subject goes. The front porch (someone please post a quick link) is pretty much populated by the same folks just restricted to vaping related subject matter. We also maintain a Google Hangout that you'll see a link to occasionally around here where we can actually meet, greet and "hangout" in real time. Mostly populated in the evenings as far as I see although someone is there most all the time. I've has some interesting conversations at 3am when I couldn't sleep.

Same thing I'm using cept got mine at Harbor Freight. $6. Looks almost exactly the same. I'm a fan of Harbor Freight. Just have to be careful what you buy. Some stuff is outstanding (hand tools, rolling tool boxes, etc), while others (rechargeable power tools) not so much.
you didnt get a plano box for 6 bucks you got an off brand

I haven't seen him around in ages. But just a couple of weeks ago he offered to complete the machining on the AFPV co-op that went very-very bad. But that likely won't happen 'cause the 'host' refuses contact with anyone so no way to get the unfinished parts. So Dan is still a good guy and around here someplace.

Parking lot sale for the Inside Track Club members. Like I said, I like Harbor Freight. Saved enough money the first time I used the Inside Track card to pay for it.

Unc, mechs are mechs. What sets some apart is the craftsmanship and artistry. And, in wood, the beauty of the wood.

A 3D printed box, a cast aluminum box, an exquisitely crafted wood one, all do the same thing. And, with identical fittings, would all perform the same way. But there's lots of folk who happily pay for art :)
