Oh, yes... forgot... the rain tonight messed up my walk. I was at the 3/4 mile mark, and it started to pour, so I only got one mile in instead of two. Hard to lose weight when the weather does not cooperate.
The government is slowing going to take away all our original constitutional rights and ammend the original constitution to justify it.
I commend your dedication to loosing weight. If you can, walk 2 1/2 miles for the next 2 days or 2 1/4 miles for the next 4 days. Whatever works out. It will balance out.
For me it is very therapeutic. I really don't have "real" family to vent with.
Seeing humor, even in the most stressful situations is how I handle it. I have had to handle medical situations my whole life. My mother was not in the best of health. Ulcerated colitis, ovarian cancer, her colon remove and had an ileostomy, angina etc. (you get the picture). You deal with whatever comes your way.
My mother would never let daddy get the lawnmower he wanted. He bought it two years after she died. It is a diesel Exmark is all I know. It takes him longer to clean it up and tuck it in than it does for him to mow the lawn. He sold his John Deere mower to a friend when he got it and it looked like it was still on the showroom floor. He is that way with everything he owns.
For heaven's sake no. Everyone knows the good stuff is in my bra.
I'm going to have to agree with you on that one. I do try to be. I would love this man even if he was not my father.

I fixed such a good supper that he ate so much he didn't have room for dessert. (which was sugar free chocolate pudding) Tonight I made blackcherry jello with blueberries in it. If I was at home I'd put a cream cheese topping on that baby and really enjoy it. He gets fat free coolwhip. heehee
I was not aware of that. Thank you so much. He has some in his pocket in a bottle and I keep it in my pocketbook at all times. Of course now I know they wouldn't have done a darn thing because mine are old. Looks like the cardiologist would have kept him up on those. (added to my list of doctor's questions for his followup visit)
Yes I agree with you 100%. But I really did know I couldn't change his mind and I didn't have time to beg and argue. We have already had that discussion and reached a compromise. My neighbor has a beach house that she stays at most of the time. He liked my suggestion to go down to her house and let the ambulance pick him up there.
I really do want to thank everyone here from the bottom of my heart for the love and support. I will be at his house at least until hubby mows his yard. I don't trust him. Or maybe. . . I just know him.

Big difference between an individual wanting to display a symbol and a government doing it. Same with, say, prayer in public schools. What's banned is the school telling kids what and how to pray. What kid hasn't prayed silently at finals!

There just doing the usual of tv shows today and pushing the shock factor with killing a prominent person in the show every now and then.
Other shows that don't kill characters outright but go as close as they can. Even watched one show where the character had been shot and was lying there eyes open not moving and then a minute later a gasp and he was alive.
Im still waiting for when the cops shouting to a suspect across the street "Hey Stop Police" and then a chase pursues will be a thing of the past.

But, I have finally caught up on ECF. I had to skip a few hundred posts to do it though.
We're getting settled in. I even know where most of my stuff is. Not quite all yet. I'm still missing one of the cords to connect my Raspberry Pi to the tv. But, that's not an emergency. It'll turn up eventually.
I'm going to miss having my youngest grandson coming to me all the time. He's asleep at the foot of my bed right now. Well, he actually takes up a lot more than just the foot. He's getting tall. But, he still likes to cuddle and hang out with his grandma.
Torey, I'm glad everything turned out ok. Very scary! Will your dad eat oatmeal? The doctor insists I eat a bowl of oatmeal every day for my heart.

Hey I wasn't on here for several days........It's not my fault I have longs posts.....it's everyone else who talks a lot!! lol I often say little about various subjects, I just say it all at once about all of em! 
If I remember right from when I just looked it up, it's 2/3 of both houses, then sent to the states to ratify, needs 3/4 of them to become law, not even sent to the President or signed, but we the people do not get a vote. Good reason to keep things pretty even steven!
I'll try to get on more while I'm here, will probably tomorrow since son will be back at work and dil is goin to her mom's house, but also got a few more things to get done while I'm here. Hugssssssss to all

Ya. but the VA battle flag was there longer, and people want to ban it. so it only makes sense that we should ban all symbols of the defeated.
Like Holocaust museums. Because they remind us that a group of people who were defeated stood for something we don't agree with.

You can say all you like that the Confederate flag is not a symbol of slavery today, but you can't change the fact that it was the battle flag of Robert E Lee and in various iterations, the official flag of the secessionist South that fought to maintain slavery.
Then, when you can't deny the facts, you can say that it doesn't really matter, or that only people who wear their knickers below their butts find it inappropriate on publicly owned government property.
