The strange dichotomy of that absolutely stunning pic of Torey and what I believe to be "Si" from Duck Dynasty on her shirt, was slightly mind bending for a moment .. Disclaimer : The Mention of Duck Dynasty within this Post is in no way intended to construe that I watch Duck Dynasty on a regular Basis .. although I did catch a couple episodes just to see what all the Hoopla was about and discovered it was, in fact, Hoopla ..

ETA - With apparently 88 guns for every 100 people in the USA its really nothing to be showing off , the mods Im thinking are more rare.

Ah, but that article said that there are 88 guns per 100 people in the U.S. and that in this country, it is very easy to get a gun.... And we are not even in the top 100 for gun related crime.

For anyone interested in FACTUAL information about the shockingly high gun crime rate in the US compared to other developed countries, you have to actually want to know. As clearly demonstrated by some recent posts, some people really don't want to know.

Hi everyone - been missing in action the last few days. Even though I wasn't doing any of the kitchen re-modeling just seemed there where a lot of last minute things to do around here as the contractor was finishing up. He completed right on time Friday, end of the day. It looks wonderful - both Janet and I are are so happy and pleased with the contractors attention to detail and the great work he did. yeah- yeah, pictures to come but it's been raining and raining all day and I want to wait 'till there's some natural light coming through the windows before snapping some pictues.
Anyways - Janet's celebrating her new kitchen and our 45 wedding anniversary today by making her 1st full blown meal in the new kitchen. Told Randy, our contractor, the new kitchen he 'gave' us is a wonderful anniversary present.
edit: PS - I didn't have to buy Janet an gift this anniversary - she got a new kitchen instead. I got off cheap.
