Climate change is a hoax HA. It's 107 here today not supposed to do that. We are breaking records set back in 1925 the hottest year they have on record.
I jumped on your case when you used a short-term cold streak to deny climate change, so to be consistent I'm jumping on your case for using a short-term hot streak to support climate change.

The overwhelming evidence for climate change is based on information over periods of years, decades, and where possible, centuries and millenia.

I do like tresomme, right now am using garnier fructise, get it at sam's pretty cheap. But I have found that ya really need to switch off now and then for better results
Yep, changing up produces better results. Don't know why, but hair appreciates variation in its diet. The longer the hair the more the benefits of switching up are noticeable. (Learned that in my long-haired-hippie years.)

Titanium should be much easier to make coils from. Should be much stiffer than nickle.
Did I get defective nickel wire? Mine just doesn't seem all that loose or floppy compared to kanthal wire.

Cornflour will get out oils and such from your hair , just saying. Put in dry not under the shower and brush out.

My brothers hair is probably a bit more than half his height.

He knows a lot about hair , and skin and whats good for your insides.
Lye soap will get the oils out of your hair too.... Not gonna use that either ;)
But closer to home.... Dry oatmeal also will remove the oils... Not gonna use that either.

Still doing my daily evening walks, starting to lose weight again. I try to add or change something each week.
Last week, I only had my boiled eggs on the weekdays... Toast and butter on the weekends...
This week: lime water.
I've read that lime juice (or lemon) added to a cup of warm water at least a half hour before breakfast, will help you to lose weight because the citric acid will burn fat. The soluble fiber is supposed to help too.
Gotta tell you... This is NOT the best tasting thing in the world. Lime juice is not sweet, or sour. It is bitter/sour.

...
Check my info, but I think it is also based on average temperature on the earth.
This means that you can have a bitterly cold winter, yet the average temp across the globe is higher.

hmmm? You should noticeably / easily see that nickel to a lot softer than kanthal when working with it. Very easy to squash a finishing coil in your finger or deform it, if trying to fit too much wick material into it.

Where did you get your nickel? Is it annealed or tempered?

Well I'll tell you what Bells. This is not normal for here. We have a fire in a city east of us only 1700 acres but started right in town burned several businesses 20 homes so far 0% contained and thunderstorms with strong winds expected. This is not a short term hot streak. We normally get a couple of days over 100 but it is supposed to be over that with no end in sight. It's 82 right now 6am. This is nothing I have seen here since I have lived here. All it would take here is a spark and the whole place would go up like a tinder box. If this isn't global warming and you don't believe it you have to be walking around with blinders. We are breaking records set in 1925 the hottest year on record. The city on fire is the Apple capital of the world. The big cold storage plants downtown are on fire. Lots of apples.

Last night was fun in the hangout. I enjoyed talking to all of you even if some of it was about f@@@@@g wire. Try to stay cool 100 today with thunderstorms. So far we have missed any really bad weather so I guess it is our turn. Didn't sleep well last night was worried about fire. I don't hear that well and if I had to get out in a hurry would be bad having to put my legs on first. Plus I wouldn't hear anything. Slept with one hearing aid on just in case. Hard to get the motorhome packed in this heat. I'm not suppose to be in the heat according to my cardiologist. Plus we are trying to get packed up to be gone for 1 1/2 months. We are only 1 week into summer. We had no winter to speak of or snow or rain so everything here is dry as a popcorn fart. I just heard yesterday broke records set in the 1800's

Weather extremes are "predicted" as part of global warming, as the planet tries to cope with the general - and documented - gradual warming. As mentioned, weather is NOT climate. And we're seeing extremes everywhere, it seems...

They have shelters set up over in Wenatchee but they can't accomodate pets I guess you are just supposed to let them burn up. We had a baby Magpie right outside our garage yesterday. Don't know if he could fly or not. He wasn't even scared of us. My wife put water in a garbage can lid and he jumped right into it and was still there when we went to bed. He was gone this morning so either the parents got him home or something else got him. He was pretty big but don't know if he could fly like I said.

I got my 28 gauge nickel wire from Vapowire N200 Nickel Non-Resistance Wire - Wick Wire Mesh - RTA’s & RDA’s

I presume that it's tempered but it doesn't say. I always found it pretty easy to squish a kanthal coil and just don't perceive much difference. I was, in general, using 33 or 31 gauge kanthal, which was thinner than the nickel I'm using now.

I also got some 26 gauge nickel wire from Lightning Vapes, a place that offers a choice between tempered and annealed. I spent the extra bucks to get the tempered after googling tempered vs annealed and determining that the tempered would be stiffer. However, I've only used the 28 gauge wire so far and won't use the 26 gauge until such time as I get a TC PV that can handle under 0.1 ohms. My Heatvape Invader Mini has a lower limit of 0.1 ohms.

1000 years ago they'd always say for shampoo, lather, rinse, REPEAT. Then they came out with conditioner and... well, had to sell the conditioner. I use pert. Cheap and effective. But if you only shampoo once... phhttt! First time loosens the crud, second time washes it away. Same with any shampoo. Folks think it doesn't work well so they grab the conditioner. Nope. Second times da charm!
Big Pert fan here as well. Hey it was a move up from bar soap. When your in the service and your hair averages a quarter inch long shampoo isn't high on your list of priorities.

Had a great time in the hangout last night. It was really nice seeing you all. Even the wire discussion was interesting. It's really nice to be able to get together occasionally. Isn't technology great. Just think about how far we've come, video calls were just a dream not even 20 years ago. It really is amazing sometimes when I just sit back and think about it. Bringing with it a whole new set of issues though. Security issues, privacy issues etc. I believe it will all work itself out in the long run though.
Good Morning to all and here's hoping we all have a good week. Looks good from my point of view as I had my first great nights sleep in a long while.
Wille, Sent you a PM.
