Matt, da largest ones are XL off-da-rack. A couple may fit your canine.

Dave mentioned washing buttoned up shirts. I'll add dat if ya have imprinted shirts, such as my aforementioned HGs, turn da printed side inside. They'll last at least twice as long before fading out!

OK, fer my sanity's sake I'm takin' a break. Hope to catch ya'll when I'm less frustrated...

It used to be that most of my shirts were pull-overs and t-shirts.

Recently, I've bought a number of button front shirts.

I've started to put them on, take them off, and launder them without unbuttoning the buttons. Figure some of you will either find that amusing or a good idea.
I can't talk. I take my front button shirts off with the least amount of buttons undone and launder them that way.

Gonna head out to be a sandman victim shortly. BUT, gotta say dat a lil' visit to da HO sure lifted my spirits dis evening!

There may be a few here that either can't get there, or don't want to. Regardless, we sure wish ya could and/or would! It's da most fun ya can have on line with your clothes on (only 'cause no one has shed much... yet)! Where else can ya have or be a visitor without dusting, mopping da floors and cleansing da toilets? Hell, I didn't even brush my teeth and no one complained... yet...

Care dearly fer all ya'll! Thanx fer being here...

Finally spent some time in my workshop today. I haven't really done any work in it since we started all of the chemo and trips to the Dr for my wife's cancer. I guess that has been more than 3 years or more. Felt lonely out there and missed coming in and hearing her positive exclamations on my endeavors. I made her a matching set of pen, pencil and letter opener out of Zebrawood. I made sure all the blanks were matching. She came home from the office and ask me to make her another pen. Silly me, I ask why and she told me a client came in and really liked her pen so she gave it to the client. I made a replacement. About a week later we were on one of our many weekend motorcycle rides and we came across a little shop that had some woodturning crafts. She saw how much they wanted for a pen that wasn't even as good as I could turn. She never gave away one of her pens after that. Sorry, trip down memory lane.

Diver,

First off, what beautiful work! It's a piece of art.

Lastly, and most importantly and meaningful is your love and devotion for and to your bride! I assure you both that our prayers and high hopes are out for you and yours.

BTW, my bride is an eight year brain cancer survivor that had a six to twelve month prognosis...

Live on and on, my fellow porcher!

I may not be a "regular", and, truth be told, I could easily become one .. the incarnations over the years of this thread with those that have come and gone (Johnny, how many of the original crew are left .. ??) .. has kept me connected to what is, honestly, in my case, for lack of a better term, my extended family .. and salute to all of you ..

Although I still like the thread, and I still believe we grew to know each other on the thread, and the thread is important to me, the regret that flashes thru my mind is about those that have come and gone that we never had the pleasure to actually converse with and see .. and it's a good, long list .. while I may never see and hear everyone, because of timing, or their reluctance to drop by, or my infrequent visits, or for what ever reason, I maintain the hope that, even if it be for a brief moment, that I lay eyes and ears to most all of the fine folks that drift thru our small slice of the CyberWorld ..

Because, in the end, I think I treasure most the acceptance, the open arms, the sharing of the good and the bad .. whether it be the thread or whether it be the chat .. both, in equal measure, contribute to, dare I say, my own well being ..

You are all good people .. We, together, share the struggles and the joys ... We are our own Tribe, I think now .. and disregarding what many of you know to be my personal beliefs, if there is a Heaven, TX would be looking down and smiling ..

Thank you Iffy, unfortunately, my bride lost her battle 11 months after her cancer was discovered. It will be 3 years ago this coming Sunday. Tuesday would have been (was) our 26th anniversary. It seems like it was just yesterday. Sorry, I have been a bundle of emotions.

I celebrated my 32nd wedding anniversary the 30th, and the only congrats I got was from a ecf friend in an email.

I know what you really wanted to say. We talked about that one the phone, didn't we? Um, um, um, um, um.
I didn't talk to her on the phone (today) but I still knew what she wanted to say!!

Then he died. :( My sorta brother was lookin at it one day some time after that, and couldn't figure out what was wrong......told mama, I don't know what to do for her, cept dig Earl up, and kick his .... for dyin on her!!

Hopefully the external audio card I am expecting in a few days will suffice for now
Can't wait til ya get it, and hope it works great!

Best comfort food I know for you Iffy...chicken and dumplings! Hope things look better in the morning my friend!

Jup.......am so grateful for the hangout now, but really wish we'd known about this earlier.
