Hi porchers... Just got back home from my ramblings around town.Boy am I whipped!! But I got a soft-side kitty carrier for Tukii as I didn't care for the hard plastic one...and neither did she! I asked them about any kind of "fresh catnip" as MzThing won't touch the dried stuff. They had little plant pots with fresh growing catnip right by the register so i got one. Came home, set up the carrier with the top and one end open, then put the catnip close to it and pulled off some leaves and dropped them on the floor...Tukii went a bit spastic gobbling them up Then i set it in the back of the carrier, she's pigging out but every few seconds she cocks her head at me as tho to make sure i'm not gonna come and take it away:D

But now I have to go check on her...she might have eaten the whole thing!

I also have FB, but only cuz of my GD'S. I think I'm going to write them a scathing letter!!!

2legs...I hope you have a great time!
Probably chew it down to the dirt, MAY leave the roots!

lol...no, she was lady-like and most of it's still there and even still in the little pot. I put it up on my table beside my recliner...cuz if I'm not here that's where i am! And i also got her a pkg. of treats, fed her one outa my hand then tossed a couple in her carrier and she went right in to get them.
Hopefully it won't be too hard to get her in it tomorrow morn. Shouda got this thing weeks ago.

I have to arise at 6:00a.m. tomorrow so i don't believe I'll be in the hangout tonight!

Hope i can recall how to set my alarm....

Found out yesterday that I could start weight bearing as tolerated, and in physical therapy today was actually able to take a couple of steps.:D

+1

So getting home and vaping again is within sight.

+2

And then I found out that I won an innokin Disruptor in the contest.

It's probably overkill for me, but I sure love the look of it.

But now I can't buy any electronic books for at least a week until my new card gets here. :grr:

Hey on da positive side, you'll have a week to research what to do to wid da D'ruptor!

Well my friends, on my small travels today i picked up some smoked b-b-que ribs, blackeyed peas , collard greens ( it's Debadoo's fault cuz we were talking about that stuff last night) and some cornbread so i'm gonna go warm it up and watch the All-Star game then go to bed...

You all have a great night!

Finally found a deal on the Amazon prime sale or so I thought...

Here's the deal as it showed in the Amazon App on my phone:

Click on the TV and takes me here, notice that the TV is available:

Clicked on add to cart and immediately this popped up:

Needless to say I was ...... off. I went back and tried it again from the initial click on the TV to the "Out of Stock" screen at least five times. Then I called Amazon customer service and after one bump up the chain of command wasn't offered any satisfaction. I .....ed enough that they are going to have a manager call me in the morning and hopefully we can work something out. Watching the evening news tonight doesn't really make me hopeful but, who knows. I have a call confirmation email stating that they are going to call me back and giving me a case number and the peckerwood's name that I talked to. I'll let you know how it goes.
BY the way, just to let you all know I was extremely polite (maybe too polite) and didn't cuss anybody or anything like that, just continued to point out that it was their fault and I did expect them to make it right. We'll see. I have screen shots to prove it, would hate to post em all over the interweb. :)

So I've been having a very good day. Found out yesterday that I could start weight bearing as tolerated, and in physical therapy today was actually able to take a couple of steps.:D

It's probably overkill for me, but I sure love the look of it.

Kind of makes up for a lot of the last two months, though that now includes having had my credit card info stolen, presumably by someone here, since they had the expiration date and the security code, and some of the charges were local. Luckily my bank has a fraud department that just loves tracking these jerks down. But now I can't buy any electronic books for at least a week until my new card gets here. :grr:

Whoopie for the good news and winning the Disruptor.

Not so much for the credit card being stolen. I've had mine 'compromised' 3 times in the last couple years. Like you, I'm thankful that my CC fraud folks caught it each time before any damage was done to me or my bank account.

I'll have to do a new family portrait, now, since I did this one before I got the MVP3. Not that I'm an Innokin fan or anything...

Good news on 2 fronts!!! Sorry about the credit card, that stuff happens way too often. Very glad your bank is on the ball. Don't forget, there are a lot of free e-books out there, too!

Hey......glad to see everybody is hanging in there and that Dancin' is doing all right and amoret is on the mend as well. I'm happy to see that.

I spent the night last night at the hospital with Dad. They had moved him out of ICU. Dear God, I had forgotten how much a person does NOT rest in a hospital. Dad was a model patient. I think he would have been fine without me, but the "peace of mind" was mostly for his wife, and I guess for me too. He and I were tired this morning from the traffic in and out of the room all night long. SHEESH!! He and I had a really nice visit WITHOUT the television for half the night. That was nice.

He's on the mend. He cracked jokes with staff all night and was talking about steak. The bleeding has stopped, and they finally let him have some scrambled eggs and grits for breakfast this morning and got him walking. My step-mom was in bright and early at 8 with her blanket, walker, and ice packs. Bless her darlin' heart!! You just can't keep a retired nurse down.

Me, I'm beat to hell and DO NOT feel like going in to work tomorrow, but I'm not leaving in the wee hours like I usually do. Phoey on that. I'm going to bed after I post this and will get there when I get there. I'll catch y'all on the flip side. :D

Oh, there are a lot of free ones, and I'm in Kindle Unlimited, eight bucks a month for the loan of up to ten books at a time - well worth it for me - but, I can't get the next books in two series I'm reading either way. I'll survive, until I get the new card, though. It's just kind of a jolt when you've just decided that they are worth buying more of.
