I had thought about bringing a Key Lime Pie, but I decided against it since I wasn't sure how everyone would feel about watching me eat the whole pie while I described how delicious it was.

It's hard to find a good key lime pie outside of the keys. YMMV. I told you I had the pleasure of two years of shore duty in Key West. Boca Chica Naval Air Station. It was the best duty station ever made.Or me attempting to snag said pie out of your hands and eat it myself ..

You realize it's "National Chicken Wing Day" today, don't you .. ?? Is everyday now some sort of "National Day" .. ?? .. while I am certainly the last in line to oppose or be against "National Chicken Wing Day" in any form, being a long time aficionado of this mouth watering Culinary Treat, does the lowly Chicken Wing actually deserve it's own Day .. ?? Apparently so, although the Chickens may have mixed feelings ..
And, should the day not be divided into segments honoring the Bar B Q Wing, then the Plain Wing, the Breaded Wing and my personal favorite, the Hot Wing .. ?? And subsections devoted to baked / pan fried / grilled / deep fried .. ??
I go on record as saying it's just another Madison Avenue ploy to sell more wings .. no different than the Donut Cartel declaring "National Donut Day" .. personally, I'd like to see "National Almond Joy Day" .. where deep discounts are offered on Almond Joys throughout the Land and Amazon declares a Lightning Deal on cases of 144 Almond Joys with Free Shipping ..
However, the Wing Ding Day has done it's job .. as I sit here and contemplate "Should I Go to the Kroger and then Make my Own .. ?? Or, should I hit Hooters or Buffalo Wild Wings for a cold beer and some Hot Wings .. ?? Decisions decisions ..

Beats the hell out of buying anything with "vape organizer" on it from a vape shop. Kind of like buying spark plugs at the marina. Same one as at the auto parts place only 5 times as much.
