Mranny...Thanks for the heads up on the shrink wrap...got some here just waiting to be useful :)

Guess I'll go pull the trigger...that Hammer is one nice lookin' unit. My browsers still giving me fits. (Chrome and FF) not wanting to load pages and I know it's on my end. Crazy

Mine has seemed really slow all day, and I'm on a 25 megabit connection from xfinity... might be some kind of hub-router problem... those damn hackers!!!

I just found yet another thing to love about this new clearo... with the eRolls, with every hit it was like watching the gas gauge on a '66 GTO... but I filled this almost to the top of the marks (it'll hold about 2.4ml, I put in about 2.0), and that level has BARELY MOVED! That is awesome!!!

I know you enjoy your eroll but I am going to be honest with you.

I started with the ego-C system which uses the same atomizers as the eroll and has only a slightly larger tank (.75 mL I think it was). It was MISERABLE. Those attys clogged constantly. A full out dry hit on one gave me a 4 day sinus headache. They are expensive. Filling the tank constantly drove me INSANE. It WHY I have never tried the eroll. I would rather use a crappy cigalike with cartos for driving than deal with those attys and tanks ever again.

I really didn't start believing vaping would work until I got a real clearomizer like you did tonight.

You can do it, trust me. I was a die hard quitter. I tried the patch, gum, Chantix, hypnotism, you name it....
and I could NOT quit.

August 1st 2013 I picked up my first e-cig........and kaboom, that was all she wrote.

So.. If I can do it.......anyone can ....

Welcome to the porch, Uncle Raphie!!

I too, first e cig, virst vape, last cig......what a miracle!

But for me it's not just the e-cigs, though Im sure I couldn't have done it without them... it's also these folks, putting up with all my excuses and blathering... :D What an amazing support group!!! I wish there was an emoticon for "GROUP HUG!!!" I'd like to plant a big fat juicy one on ALL OF YOU!!! :thumb:

MWA!

Andria it is so much fun seeing you enjoy the switch from smoking to vaping. I had a hard enough time deciding what to go with three years ago and there wasn't near as many options as today. One thing to keep in mind you don't have to spend a fortune to get a great vape (now you can become a collector like I have been in the past and spend way too much) but you don't have to.

Hey..will anyone here be at Vape Bash in April? I'd love to meet up with you if you're there..

I'm with AT&T Wireless 4G until the contract ends in another year. Not sure what after that, but it won't be them. Another problem is Windows 8...sucks! Keeps telling me to go to the 'Store' for a free upgrade to 8.1, but the stupid store won't load. I'm thinking a 357 might just fix it.

FT says it won't ship til 3-14...that makes the turn around about like a co-op, but I'm really looking forward to it. My Bro in Southside, Al. will prolly talk me out of it. Dang it!

Should have got 2. There's always birthday or Christmas.

Conversation with the wife:

Think I just dampened my 'shorts' a wee bit...

The best advice I can give anyone vapocalypse prepping now is make a plan and shop for deals. Get as much as you can for your dollar and focus on stuff that will last.

Learn the skills that will make you self sufficient while we have the resources in the fine teachers here and on youtube.

BINGO!

Myrany I have accumulated a variety of items as well through my years.

So have I! I've held on to sum vape gear due to da 'recent' rapid advancements (who wants ol' tech). Nuttin' wrong wid being a vape hoarder. I've PIF'd a lot of items, but many go unappreciated due to da advancements. I'm preppin' for Y3K! Just wait til da EU becomes an FU on dis side of da pond!!!

So Ken the kick from FT is not advised...the Silencer VV Adapter seems a little pricey, but maybe not compared to the risk of shorting things out (my main concern). I was about to pull the trigger on this til I read you post. Any other suggestions?

OK, gonna 'swim upstream' here. I have two clone Kicks and have had no issues wid 'em whatsoever. Granted, mine only go up to 12 watts. But I've yet to enjoy ANY combo above dat level.

The vape-apocalypse thing is starting to worry me. The 'meat heads' in DC are so money and power hungry the give a hoot what the truth may be. We are in real trouble, I'm prepin' (been doin' it a while, too) for vape-apocalypse.

Ya can't ever be too prepared! Better to buy it, store it and have it if ever da need arises. If our worst fears ever come to life, we can be prepared. WOW, just noticed dat I used 'ever' trice. Personally, don't believe in never...

And my PV would have wound up somewhere besides my mouth, along with the broom and the swiffer.

Think I just lost my keyboa

Yeah, I started getting tired of all the refilling/recharging nonsense when I'd had it about a week, and i wasn't even vaping *regularly* at that point, but still smoking about 8-10 a day.

And just today, I got to discover what happens when you overfill the tanks a little and it leaks into the atty... that gurgling sounded like my lungs in the morning! And the TASTE... BLEAH!!! I really think I got e-juice in my mouth this morning from all that, and man it was NASTY... I was rinsing and spitting for a half hour after that, had to pull out two new attys because the ones in the eRolls were just wet with e-juice.

Oh, and I discovered a new trick, don't know if y'all know about this or not, I haven't seen anything about it online. You know those little silica gel packs that come in stuff like shoes, medicines, all kinds of stuff that should stay dry? It always says on it DO NOT EAT, like someone might be tempted otherwise. :?: That stuff is a dessicant, it dries out anything enclosed with it. I get those with each inhaler, and always before I just tossed 'em... but now, I use them in closed plastic bowls to dry out vaping stuff I've washed, to finish getting them dry -- right now I've got a whole set of attys dryng out in one of those bowls, with 3 of those silica gel packs. So when you get new shoes, or anything else with those little packs, don't toss those packs, save 'em to dry out your vaping gear! :thumb:

With potential for a real vapocalypse I am not purging anything I might be able to get working. Optimal vape? NOPE but better than no vape in my book.

Lots of vaping toys in my collection that I'm not thrilled about using, BUT I keep um cause like you said, they are all better then no vape and who knows, just because they aren't my favorites I realize that some of my friends might find use for them if they find themselves in need in the future :)

You make a good point. I have a group of bowling buddies that have switched to vaping over the past year, but they aren't ECF members and probably don't even know the potential of future issues. If we run into trouble down the road...I could probably share my cartos/carto tanks and perhaps and EVOD or two with extra heads (but I'm not sharing everything I've got):D

Tell them what we face. Give them links to the legislation that is coming down the pipe. Let them make their own decision. If nothing else they can plan for the future.

HEY,!!
I just remembered a wish list item. My notes say I can get two of them this month and stay in budget, so I'm getting a blue one and a silver one

The Silencer

They are in stock, and you don't have to worry about the FT knock-offs without the safety wrap!

They are vv not vw, but still... They should look snazzy attached to the Hammer!

I just got one in the mail and I love it. The have a Chrome epipe that comes with the Silencer for $39. Can't beat that!! I'm vaping it now and it works great!!!

Mini Variable Voltage Chrome E-Pipe

That's a cool looking gadget. But I'm a bit confused about its connection. On the page for just the silencer it doesn't say anything about eGo threads and the picture looks like it's just a 510 connection at the topper end.

Yet on the page for the e-pipe w/ silencer it says it has 510/eGo threads?

So does it really have eGo threads? What am I missing?

OMG...on the local news they have now put out a warning that we should all let our water trickle 24/7 to reduce broken water pipe/main issues. It's been a long winter and unfortunately the next week still looks to be crazy cold. Shoot buying water in this town is kind of like buying gold, but much less expensive than paying for pipe repair that's for sure.

Yikes! Not nice, no, not nice at all.
