Ok, I think I understand what you're saying, but I didn't want to get too carried away, you said "gently"... I just *gently* tried to "pry up" the little bits that stick up off the pin in the bottom of the clearo... it did seem to help a little, the R went down to 3.5, but it's still fluctuating, between 3.something and 4.somethng... but does it sound like I'm on the right track? It vaped a little better, not as good as at first, but getting there

Ok... Let me try.
Take the bottom off of the clero.
Unscrew the WICK from the bottom
Screw it back in nice and snug
Screw the bottom back onto the clero
Screw the clero onto the battery device

Does that work?

That is what Myrany was talking about first :)

Sometimes the WICK unscrews from the bottom from the inside

Ok, I';ll try that if this fix that iffy gave me doesn't fix it.. it's better but not like it was... I wonder what I did to it!!

you might need to do a similar thing to the post in the iTaste VERY gently and just a teensy bit

Check that wick and make sure it's in there.. If so, the post fiddling may have miss-aligned the positive wire. Try the other wick and see what happens.

It does seem better, but still fluctuating... but I'm gonna have to take it all apart again anyhow, all this test puffing has lowered the level of the juice again! argh!

I don't have advice but I sure do hope ya'll get it worked out!!! I've had similar problems and I know how frustrating it can be. Especially when you have something that you were really enjoying!!! Take care!:toast:

OK, I failed to caution ya to remove/disable your batt prior to lifting da center contacts. You DO NOT want to 'fire' da PV button while attempting your fix. My bad...

Good luck!

That's ok, got it... when I *first* started with all this, to put new juice in, I made that error, but luckily my finger hit the button before I had loosened the clearo from the battery.. whew!!

It *might* be ok now, but as I said, I do need to put more juice in now... 10-4 myrany on making sure that post is properly fastened before I put it back together... be back in a few, hopefully NOT in a panic... my heart's too old for this, smoking or no smoking!!! :D

Andria it is a learning experience. One we ALL have been through.

General checkdown menu for this type of problem

1. Is the battery charged?
2. Is the wick/head screwed in tight?
3. Pull the pin a bit on the clearo
4. Pull the pin a bit on the battery device

Work down the list one at a time a stop when it is fixed

I don't know how this might fly here, but I remove my tanks at bed time. Wipe off any juice from the connector, if any. I don't leave tanks on mods, probably .... retentive for no reason.

I actually do the same thing with SOME of my devices. I have some that pretty much don't leak so I do not worry so much about those.

Edit Storm I think Lulu is in Shreveport also :)

I am in a small town about halfway between Shreveport and Alexandria.

TBH, I normally don't go thru dat exercise in order to minimize thread wear on my PV. I have used adapters in da past to protect da PV threads. Recently, not so much...

My diver 2 leaks bad through the center post so I always yank that tank off to avoid harming my battery device. Like I said the version 2 was NOT an improvement on the version 1.

Ok, I'm back, with juice, and this time a working iTaste! Myrany, that post thing wasn't *loose* but there was just the *slightest* bit of play, and remebmering snug but not tight, I tightened it just a little.. then put it all back together, and now, R is reading a pretty consistent 2.7... so I think maybe it's working again... whew!!! weird how it worked fine at first, but just taking it apart to refill, that post somehow got the tiniest bit loose, but all I did when I took it out was lay it gently on a paper towel... strange!!!

Anyway... that was all because of slightly increasing my nic during the day to about 7.5mg, but I discovered last night that it would be a good idea to lower it later, had a little bit of fast heartbeat, wasn't sure if it was the nic or anxiety over the budget!

And Storm, I might do that later on in this adventure, I've been doing that to my eRolls every night, but now that I am abstaining from smoking, and the morning one is the hardest for me, I thought it might be a good idea to take it into my bedroom to charge, so that in the morning I can start vaping before I ever hit the kitchen, and maybe forestall the "oh god I want a cigarette so bad" phase... and I'm sure that morning stress will fade as I go along, but for now, I want to be prepared BEFORE it hits.. and maybe keep it from hitting so hard!!

Lots of small towns between there Myrany. The old railroad settled most of them. Vaping is growing around here. 4 shops that I know of within the last year. Several diy juicers offer good prices. The strange thing is we are like the smokers, still hiding out in the smoking section or stealth. I had a young man give me a high five at the centurylink arena the other night when he saw me vaping in the back of the concession stand.
