I'm getting a little worried about what the vaping future holds, been doing a lot of reading on the mech mods, even if I keep using the vv v3s as long as they hold out I think I need to have at least one mech mod stashed, just in case.

Well I admit I know very little about this, having just started; but despite my own prejudice against the bigger PVs, you guys are convincing me that I need to be setting aside a bit of the money I've saving NOT smoking, and save up for one of these more expensive PVs; I particularly like that you can replace in the battery in one of those Provaris, and I definitely need to be reading up and viewing vids about this rebuilding thing. I don't recall who pointed it out last night, but I was glad to learn that this kanger T3S has a rebuildable whatchamacallit; I can fix my ignorance, but it's hard to fix something that has to be just thrown away and replaced after a certain time or amount of use.

And as much as I'd love to dwell in rose-colored optimism, the financial crisis of the past 5-10 yrs has absolutely convinced me of politicians' and big businesses' utter and unyielding stupidity and venality. In the absence of a complete revolution, I better learn to be self-sufficient in my vaping, before those total f'ing idiots try to take it away.

Thoroughly disgusted by the "leadership" of this country...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that also an advantage to getting a Provari? Did I read somewhere that they don't rattle?

I'm guessing, since there is no chip, mods don't rattle either?

My ProVari mini and ZMax mini both make the sound and I like it. It sounds like a happy coil vaporizing luscious joose!

It's funny you saying that, about driving... We have to go do the grocery shopping, and I was realizing that the iTaste isn't really well suited to going out with, so I got my charged eRoll out of the PCC... geez it's so nothing after the iTaste! But I guess it's a better nothing than *nothing*! :thumb:

Andria

I don't hesitate to take any of my PVs with me when I'm out and about, but I use a purse that's easier than just a pants or shirt pocket. And if people see me vaping I figure it's just getting them used to seeing somebody vaping.

OK. I told ya'll I'd let you know what I have ordered so here it is. Hold on to your britches!!

Mods- King e-pipe kit, Pioneer black epipe, Smok Gold epipe
Tanks- 1 smoke Protank 2 mini, 2 clear protank 2 minis, 2 gold Artemas tanks
Accessories- Gold skull drip tip, 5 Protank coils, 8" churchwarden pipe stem, several slot drip tip transformers (gold and silver), 5 510-ego adapters, 2 battery cases (hold 4 18350), Gold Artemas cone, Gold and silver ego rings
Juice- 5 10ml bottles and 5 20ml bottles.

Can't wait to put together my all Gold epipe and a Gandolph epipe!!! :toast:

Sounds like you hit the mother load!

I always notice your signature and love that you quit smoking on my birthday.:)

Your birthday is the day after mine. Very cool.

And mine is October 4! We're the happy Libras!!

Well they didn't get out of the truck and we missed em again. I don't get my Provari until monday after finding the courage to brave the post office. :(

awww that is awful!

No this is just lazy postman. If they can't stick it in the box it won't be delivered unless you are out there waiting for them. SO Monday I get the Provari. I will just hit the post office when it opens so I don't have to deal with crowds and set of the anxiety.

Uh Oh. What if you get to the Post Office and they tell you it's out for delivery on the truck-again? I'd be making a very large fuss! Our postal people are VERY nice partly because they know that we'd never put up with that kind of service. We expect good service and we try to be considerate by making sure the way is clear for them to reach our mailbox etc. Be prepared to put on your cape chase him down! Don't let the anxiety get to you - let 'er rip!

OK, I know my old eyes aren't what they used to be, but I can't see a gap.

Do you know the bottom measurement of those attys? I know the Zmax is 22.8mm but it has that inward slope on the top cap, I don't know what size is inside that slope to know what size atty to get. Did that make any sense? I want it to be about the same size as the measurement of inside that sloping area. Well, I don't think that explained it any better. I know what I'm thinking, I just can't put it into words.

WAIT! I got it! I want it to fit like yours does! What size are your attys?

I don't notice the gap either, but then I usually don't sweat the small stuff. One of my Aspires is slightly crooked because I dropped it The only person who notices is Mike - he doesn't do crooked.

Mike has the Davide on his, but any of the full size toppers will do. I have the Aspires on mine and it and they all look pretty much like the photo.

I did end up taking it, actually; just left it propped against my mug in the cupholder, and we locked the truck so someone wouldn't just take it. I've never been one to care much what "other people" thought about moi ;) and I confess, I do love to shake peoples' trees probably more than I ought to love it. :D I see so many people smoking now, when we're out driving around, which I never really noticed before. Everytime I see one now, I just think, there's another poor fool who hasn't heard the Good News. ;)

And I always figured my own family and friends were fairly smart, I mean who wouldn't want to think that of their own folk? But today I called 2 family members, my mom and my aunt, and my ex-husband -- who first told me about e-cigs about 3 yrs ago -- with the good news that I had finally quit smoking, and 2 of the three were all worked up about the fact that I'm still "on nicotine", nevermind that Im no longer inhaling pure cancer. Those two? My own mother, and my ex, the original bringer of the good news about e-cigs. Although my mom did say that if I was still quit by the end of March, she'd give me $100; I know for a fact that by the end of March I'll be a month off cigarettes and happily vaping away on my iTaste, but I won't hesitate to take that money, because I know she offered it because she thinks I'll go back to smoking. My ex, I just gave up on, as I did so wisely almost 30 yrs ago. My aunt, who is rather aged, 81 now, but very bright and very open-minded to new ideas (youthful in mind AND body -- she looks like my YOUNGER sister -- and I'm 52!), was VERY pleased to know I'm not smoking, and spent nearly an hour picking my brains all about this "e-cig thing," she was so impressed that I had finally found a way to quit smoking. I always did wish *she* was my mom, instead of her sister. :D

Iffy and Uman, I find the pear and blueberry flavors work so well together you can hardly make a bad recipe no matter what proportions you use. Well, unless you over do it. Once I made the mistake of dumping some pomegranate joose into the JH bottle and it was still good. Also, Mike has mixed some tobacco to the JH and visa versa (to use up small amounts in bottles) and it works really well.

I checked the recipe for the pomegranate and I mix at 18%, not 20.

Yep, we do tip our mailperson and the trash people. Of course we had the same mailman for years until he retired and then it was hit or miss for awhile. Same great service (usually) but they haven't settled on one person for the route so I didn't tip last year because I didn't know who was going to get the tip. I had a chat with the mailman for where I worked one year and he told me they're not supposed to take a tip unless it has their name on the envelope. Don't know if that still holds true - who would know?

I'm currently waiting for a Super T Precise Simplicity mechanical. For the same reasons already posted I thought it was a good idea to have one. Mike got his and I was impressed with the size. It's not big and clunky looking and fits well for my smaller hands and the bottom button is very easy to push. Of course Mike was the one excited about it so... in another few weeks I'll be stalking the mailbox too.

You're supposed to tip the mail people??? ...
Andria
my mail people are very good! Every Christmas, I thank them with something. Cookies, a small gift card, etc. NOT as a tip, I don't tip my service people. I give them a thank you when I appreciate what they do.

get about 3 of them. Sometimes a switch needs to be cleaned, swapped out, etc. and while you wait to do that, it's nice to have something to vape on.

What do you mean TRY? Look at the past 15 years. See what was legal 15 years ago that is now illegal because it was taken away just a little bit at a time.
I'm not a fan of assault weapons in the home, but I'm against any Gov (local, state, federal) restricting them. I don't own a gun, don't WANT to own one. But once they have been made illegal a little bit at a time, next will be hunting knives, bows and arrows, dart blowers... And then the Government will be the only thing armed. That is what they call a dictatorship, under ANY style!

Andria, isn't it weird that the only connection people think of to cigarettes is the nicotine? Geeze, maybe we should keep flyers to hand out to people to tell them about the other crap that's NOT included in vaping!! It's frustrating.

I agree with you about seeing other people smoking. Never paid much attention before. But you can't convince anybody unless they're interested. Conversely, we were stopped at a traffic light once and 3 guys in the car next to us saw Mike blowing clouds of vaper. They rolled down the window and asked Mike what he was using. They're eyes were big as saucers! ZMax e-Cig he yelled!! Of course I don't think they were interested in joose...

I agree 100%. I don't want guns around either, and there are so many atrocities nowadays with druggies and crazy people shooting up schools and whatnot, for a long time I was a real proponent of "gun control." But then it suddenly dawned on me exactly what you said -- if the people are no longer armed, there will be NO defense against fascist government, which is COMPLETELY counter to what our founding fathers had in mind for this country -- they WANTED the populace armed, to protect against that very thing.

However I will admit to wanting folks seeking guns to undergo psychological testing, not just background. And I think a comprehensive drug test wouldn't go amiss either. A gun is just a tool, but in the hands of the hopped up and emotionally disturbed, much too dangerous a tool.

But yes, I agree, absolutely; considering all this outrage lately with the wiretaps and general "big brother is watching," I do think it would be far more dangerous for the people to be completely unarmed.

As for that lazy mail lady of ours... I think I should ask her, would you close the mailbox if I gave you money? If she says yes, I'll report her as extorting me for money just to do her job properly. ;) I already complained to the post office about the mailbox being left open, to no effect whatever, but maybe they'd actually do something about one of their personnel extorting the public. :D

Like Janet said, they're Davide's on top of the Zmax's in the picture, which are 19mm in diameter, the same as the top of the tapered part of the Zmax. Most any of the common toppers and most standard carto tanks should 'line up' just fine on a Zmax.

I would file a complaint each and every time that this happens. The letter carrier will make false excuses the first time or three. Eventually, the carrier's supervisor will be in hot enough water that he or she is going to make dang sure that the carrier does the job he or she is paid to do, which is to go to your door. You may become the only address on the route that gets proper service but at least there will be one such address. I am a staunch defender of the USPS in general but one of its harshest critics when necessary.

Hey folks, It's my first post in this section so be kind.
I'm not only worried about big brother trying to remove our vaping enjoyment but also taxing it like cigarettes. I quit smoking not only for the health benefit but 9 bucks a pack was crazy. I did understand the burden that cigarettes put on health care and accept the fact that those taxes were supposed to offset those cost. It seems now the government is going to try to recoup lost revenue on us again for no reason and no proof. Well I have much more but I can assure you it will go into a larger rant and I think everyone knows where it's going. Anyway hello everyone!

Oooh I like that one, the lanyard holder for the vv3... but as i asked doughboy, could the regular round one go on the bottom of the clearo?

Thx!!
Andria

Don't hang anything from the juice dispenser. I use old lanyards from thumb drives and put a #6 o-ring on it.

Does anyone have an issue with the attys not sitting flush with a Zmax?
Should I consider a 510-510 connector to protect the threads and will that just make the atty sit even higher?

....snipped for brevity...
I know there is a whole group of OCD vapers who think gaps are awful but none of PVs/APVs/mechs I have are gapless. It just goes with the territory.

Zmax is SS through and through including the threads so no protection needed. A Vamo, yes. I use a separate air flow controller (not the PT AFCs).

That actually isn't a bad idea. The hubby is in a wheelchair. If I am not here to go get the mail it doesn't get inside the house. :p Lets face it my arthritis doesn't make chasing a mailtruck easy for me either.
