did someone say driving?
Here is what I use
Variable voltage eGo/510 USB Passthrough

That was the FIRST site that had them, although I got mine from madvapes :)

My telescoping Zmax does not have a rattle that I can detect.

I had planned to get the Zmax V2 because I don't care for the look of telescoping and plan to use only an 18650 batt, because I'm a chain vaper!!! dammit! I've got to find something that will keep up with me.

As usual, all the research and reading I do, just leads me to more questions.

Does anyone have an issue with the attys not sitting flush with a Zmax?

Should I consider a 510-510 connector to protect the threads and will that just make the atty sit even higher?

ACCKKKK! So much I don't know! So irritating!

Dang AndriaD, you ever sleep? Just read the 6 pages from last night and your in them throughout!!!

My wife found this place looking for Teaberry. She loves Teaberry!!! Need a pyrex tank for that one.
I think that's cause poor Andria thought she broke her brandy-new-gosh-this-is-way-better-than-my-old-one tank and some of us here talked her down off the ledge ;)

It's nice to be helpful.

Please let us know what your wife thinks of the teaberry e-liquid. I'm bummed because Mount Baker Vapor stopped making theirs. It was good, perhaps needing a tiny bit of sweetness, but much better than the overly sweet ones I'd gotten elsewhere.

I don't have an eGo, and this iTaste has a squared-off shape, rather than round. However the clearo has the round shape, so I'm wondering, could those go on that bottom portion of the clearo?

View attachment 311168

Thx!!
Andria

No, the clip/ring won't go around the base of the T3S. Hence the pocket style holder, or getting an O-ring to go around the square VV3. (Or rubber bands, hair ties... just that the neoprene 0-ring is so much stronger than rubber bands!)

faulty tubes flicker.. to the point of insta epileptic inducing flickering ;p I have a lot of tubes at work 0_0 damned things. Would go mad if they all flicker all day. oh wait.. :x

Well, yes, when they're getting to end of life, they'll do that. And more obvious at 50 hz :)
And I don't dispute that the 33 hz regulated mods can rattle... My SVD and Kmax do - but only on some toppers and only when they get low on liquid. But I don't "taste" any difference in the vape when they do that and I toss the same topper onto my MVP...

Does that mean I'm tasteless??

I am stalking the mailman. Just checked tracking on the Provari. It says out for delivery. Unfortunately our mailman will not get out of his truck. If I don't run out there I won't get it till monday as I have to sign for it. :p

Bet that mail person doesn't get a tip at Christmas! Only reason I can think of for not getting out of the truck is for guard dogs and disabilities.

Iffy's Janet's Heaven (blueberry/pear)

Since the two individual flavs below are also my daily vapes, I mix each flav independently and then combine 50/50.

Blueberry (VZ Super Concentrate) at 2.5%.
Pear (TPA) at 12%.
1 drop Real Lemon® juice per 3ml joose. And no, you do not taste the LJ.

Once I use up my TPA Pear flavoring, I will try the VZSC Pear and let ya'll know how it compares.

Again, thanx to Janet for the flavs suggestion!

HA! I'm glad Uman asked about this recipe. I've been mixing this at 2.5% of the regular TPA flavoring, not the Vaper Zone Super Concentrate! Oh well, it's still good this way too. I've recently started vaping a BB joose that I got when I was in FL and really like it, and I don't particularly like blueberries! It would make it a lot easier to do it your way and just mix them together. I'll have to try that.

Well they didn't get out of the truck and we missed em again. I don't get my Provari until monday after finding the courage to brave the post office. :(

Got a question for those of you with Zmax mods, or any similar. What is this I hear about the 'Rattlesnake rattle"?? Is it really that bothersome? I hear some won't even use their mod because of it. I'd trust ya'll's judgement on this more so than some people on the boards. My eGo's and toppers whistle like h*ll and although I don't like it, it doesn't stop me from using them.

Opinions and advice?

Thanks ya'll!

I just switched a Davide BDC between a mini-Zmax and a mini-Provari. It makes the same sound on both, I mainly use it on the Zmax and even though I've known about 'the rattlesnake' it always sounded like a happy coil to me so paid it no attention. I can barely hear it when vaping, have to hold it up to my ear to hear it. So to see if it was a happy coil or a troublesome rattlesnake when I read your post, I switch it to a Provari - same 'noise'.

Nothing can drive me crazy, because I live close enough to walk

Bookmarked in my brain for future use.

We got 6 Zmax's in the house 2 full size, 4 mini's. Some have basically no gap, some a very small gap. I think it depends on the day they were built on what you get.

The 510 connector is decent - I see no need for an adapter to protect it's threads.

This image is a bit blurry, I cropped and enlarged from another picture - but you may be able to see the small gap I'm talking about.

That's just not right! But just so you don't feel like the PO is picking on just you ....

After waiting 2 weeks to get my shipping notice after placing the order for my Super-T Simplicity it finally shipped. F5'ing the USPS tracking site finally showed it at the Philadelphia Sorting Center (about 40 miles from me), then depart Philly sorting center. Whoopie, I thought there was a chance I'd get it that day. Nope - end of day tracking didn't even show it arrived at my local PO. boo!

Then just before heading to bed, I gave the tracking site one more look. OMG! It can't be. It arrived at the Louisville, Kentucky Distribution Center. WTeF was it doing in KY? Any ways 2 days later I finally got it.

awww that is awful!

No this is just lazy postman. If they can't stick it in the box it won't be delivered unless you are out there waiting for them. SO Monday I get the Provari. I will just hit the post office when it opens so I don't have to deal with crowds and set of the anxiety.

I've been waiting on vapemail, sent Tuesday priority mail, estimated delivery Friday, tracking still only shows it was processed at the sort facility in Arizona on Tuesday :(

Guess the truck is afraid of cold weather. Or the package never made it on to the truck and some sort facility worker is happily vaping away on my mechanical and rba :banghead:

I make my own Teaberry. I like it because it's a nice light wintergreen and not too sweet.

OK, I know my old eyes aren't what they used to be, but I can't see a gap.

Do you know the bottom measurement of those attys? I know the Zmax is 22.8mm but it has that inward slope on the top cap, I don't know what size is inside that slope to know what size atty to get. Did that make any sense? I want it to be about the same size as the measurement of inside that sloping area. Well, I don't think that explained it any better. I know what I'm thinking, I just can't put it into words.

WAIT! I got it! I want it to fit like yours does! What size are your attys?

I'm sorry.:(

Years ago, I lived in a very rural area in NC and when I needed to sign or get something that didn't fit in my mailbox, my mail carrier would pull into the drive and beep his horn. I had to run out fast or he'd leave in like 30 seconds. ...... me off.

Bet that mail person doesn't get a tip at Christmas!

You're supposed to tip the mail people??? Despite the fact that they have a good salary already, the PO keeps raising rates, and now they're talking about discontinuing Sat delivery -- oh, and 1 of our mail carriers won't EVER shut the box fully! One of our mail carriers is retired Army, which teaches people to do things CORRECTLY the first time, not half-a$$ed, and the other one, our regular guy, my husband went out and had a nice talk with, about the fact that he and I both get our medications in the mail and therefore it's CRUCIAL to close the box so someone won't see the pkg and go, oh look, stuff I can take... in this neighborhood it's fair game, apparently, unless red hot or nailed down.

I just can't get behind tipping someone who won't even do their job, like that lazy mail woman that won't shut the damn mailbox. :grr: The other two, well I might, though I still don't see why, when they already make a *lot* more than my husband does.

I crocheted three lanyards yesterday, and I am finally happy with the result. It is easy, and only took an hour. The final one was in crochet thread

Make four chain st, join. Make 22 tr in loop. Chain four. *Make one tr crochet in previous row, chain one, skip one* for one round. Then, make *one tr crochet, chain one*, repeat around in spiral, until you get the length you need. For my VAMO, it was ten rounds. Finish with chain one, double crochet, chain one, single crochet. Chain enough for cord, cut and pull thread through. Continuing in same direction, thread cord through the final row, tie off. THEN, picking up cord at the transition, pull it back out. This serves as a drawstring, so there is no way it can come loose. The net serves to help you see the screen and buttons without difficulty. This is stretchy enough that it will work with almost any tube mod.

OOPs. I made a mistake.

Pictures please. :)

I'm an idiot. I keep having to go back and edit my posts for spelling/grammar. Even when I proof read I miss something! Then I hurry to fix it before someone else sees it. Anyone else do this?:blush:

Yes, obsessively...

I purchase/use 60mg nic and do not use any protective gear. Besides, 60 can be factored by 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 12, 15, 20 & 30 (yeah, I have a numerical pattern relationship quirk).

BTW, the Babylonians used the sexagesimal system. Their base was 60, rather than 10 as ours. Ya can blame them for 360 degrees in a circle. Talk 'bout livin' in da past...

Thanks for pointing out the factoring, well, factor of using the 60 mg iffy, I'm going to start a little stash I think, and get a mechanical mod too.

I don't disagree with the money math. I just don't like banking my vaping future on disposable devices at this point. In reality I use my mechanical REOs more than anything else and cigalikes to drive with. SO my expensive devices don't leave the house anyways.

I'm getting a little worried about what the vaping future holds, been doing a lot of reading on the mech mods, even if I keep using the vv v3s as long as they hold out I think I need to have at least one mech mod stashed, just in case.

That is what drove me to explore mechs and rebuildables. Concern towards the future.
