Yeah I can't say I really miss it. Of course I did think of it, but only to wrinkle my nose and shake my head, no, that's no answer. So I munched a lot and puttered around aimlessly alot, and got some of the stuff I was soaking in vinegar water rinsed out and drying, in the plastic bowl with the silica gelpacks, and got some other stuff now soaking.
However, I think I found something that might be helpful to me, being so newly quit. Dunno if you caught my posts about that e-juice I got a while back called "Dirty Ashtray." When I vaped it straight, and straight out of the mailbox, it was too strong for me (12mg), and really needed the aging time, as ECBlend recommends. It's almost a month old now, and this evening, I added *1 drop* of it into about a 3/4 full tank of my regular 6mg Virginia, and THAT is so realistic it's scary. It's probably still a lot better than the actual cigarettes would be (the last couple were so bitter it was like a mouthful of lye), but putting in that 1 drop of the smoky Dirty Ashtray added just a touch of the bitterness back in, so it's a lot more like the taste I remember.
I once had the same medication as Chantix, but in its "Wellbutrin" incarnation, as an antidepressant. I stopped taking it because a) it didn't help my depression that much, and b) it gave me swollen ankles, but I recall that it allowed me to postpone my after-meal smokes for up to a half-hour, which seemed miraculous at the time. It might help some folks with quitting, but to me it's the realistic simulation of the taste and sensation of smoking that makes vaping so effective, which of course you can't get any other way than vaping -- or just giving up and smoking.
I've come too far, and too easily compared to all the other times I tried quitting, to even think of giving up now.
