Thanks. In all honesty this isn't that nice and wasn't too expensive. The clone was $35, the kick $15 and the tank $12. Once you get into mods you just have to get the one time battery and charger order done and then they move around from mod to mod.

I think the problem is that when you see pics of various mods online, catalogs, etc, they very often don't have any kind of clearo or glasso attached, and usually no people, so it doesn't give a real sense of scale. The pics that are most helpful are those with a tank attached, in someone's hand.

The iTaste vv3 that I have is a variable voltage *or* wattage, so I guess in some way it might be considered a mod, but not like what you said, where you have a battery/charger that you can use with different devices. I do think that's the direction I want to move toward, because of all this possible vapocalypse business, but I'm happy to stay with this iTaste for now; I get plenty of vapor and throat hit with this Virginia, and I like being able to adjust the power depending on my needs at that moment.

I'm glad to find the ECF back up; I was afraid I would have to wait until in the morning. :) :thumb:

Andria with all your rave reviews of MFS Virginia, I ordered some the other day! (Hopefully that's not why they're out of stock now -- I only got 30 ml) I should have it in a day or so. I also got a bottle of the Slims Menthol that someone else said was really good. I will be adding some menthol to the Virginia, but I like to control how much so that's why I just got regular. We'll have to see how the Slims Menthol is on it's own. If it's too "mouth-washy" I can add some of the Virginia straight tobacco to it. If it's not minty-fresh enough, I can add some of my Mt. Baker Vapor menthol to it. I really like their menthol, but can't do it straight like some people do.

Cool... I ordered some "Virginia" from myvaporstore, along with my new T3S and a coil for it, and just tonight I found 2 other plain Virginia e-juices... ordered one from caterpillarvapes, the Hangsen Virginia, since it was just $2.99. There's another which is the same $4.99 as the 10ml at both myfreedomsmokes and that I'm getting from from myvaporstore, AND it's in Georgia so fast shipping, but I'll wait on that one for a bit. I'm still searching out other plain Virginia flavors, or cinnamon tobacco if it seems (from reviews) to be a milder tobacco rather than the strong robust ones. The strong tobacco flavors seem to pretty much ick me out.

I already had catching up to do and then the sight was down all day!!! I've been going nuts checking here every 30 minutes since about 8 am!!!! Took me forever to read through everything!!! Good news is, I got vapemail today!!! King epipe is here!!!

I was underwhelmed by the iclear 16 that came with mine. It's pretty, but I much prefer my protank minis. I just prefer the bottom coils in general. I guess that I'll just keep the iclear around for the next time I dress up. Of course the last time that I dressed up was 9 years ago....

I Totally agree with you here!! When I quit smoking a year ago I used nothing but top coil Vivi Novas. Now I've found I like the bottom coil devices so much better. Guess next year I'll be on to rebuidables and can then join the arguments about which one is the best!!!

Got my pro tank minis today and my first thought was these are tiny..but they are easy to refill and actually the way I like to change flavors will work out well. I don't like not being able to like:laugh:

Also I wanted to add Ahlusion chocolate is great..peppermint bark is just like an Andes mint

I only get the larger tanks (3.5-6ml) for my ADVs. Most of my tanks are 2.5 ml because, like you, I like to change flavors a lot.

AAAAAAAAAUUUUUUGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

I have been freaking out all day. I swear it's like depriving the newly sober of their daily AA meeting!!!

But I'm still smoke-free. 5 days.

Andria

Awesome Andria!! 5 days is great. Could you imagine before vaping going 5 days without a smoke!!! You're doing fantastic!!! Keep it up!!!

I hate it when you can't tell how large a device is. I wish they would always put something next to it in the picture for scale!!!

So glad they got the sight back running!! Missed you all today!! :toast:

Slots - thanks for the heads up on the juice sale. I love a good sale! :p I checked out the website but I couldn't find anything on there that said where they are, who they are, what they use or where they get it. That bothers me, so I passed. I also couldn't find anything here on the forums, also bothered me (tho that could be my not so great search talents). I tend to be leery of places with no reputation that I can look into. Just a wimp!

Not at all... I'm also leery-by-default of most online stores; that's why I often ask, is so-and-so a reputable vendor... there are so many finks and frauds online... so it does pay to be cautious! :thumb:

This T3S is supposed to be 3ml... but when it gets down to about 1.4, it starts to gurgle... it sounds like a waterpipe or something, which feels weird, like I need to swallow my own spit or something... the only thing I can do at that point is top it off.

Actually yeah; this makes the 5th time I've tried to quit, and once made it 3 months... craving the whole time... and once, made it a week before succumbing... so yeah, at 5 days, without the vaping, I *would* have been going even more nuts than I was without ECF, which was pure hell. I think I have to revise my opinion of what is helping me quit; I had thought 1/2 vaping, half the support group of the forum... now I think maybe 1/4 vaping, and 3/4 the support group. I never had either when I tried to quit before. But, maybe I also wasn't as serious about quitting, AND, didn't have the lengthy (21+ yrs) term of sobriety, to give me the knowledge that "this too shall pass." Knowing it was just a brier patch to get thru to get to the other side, helped me to at least stay strong in my resolve, even if I was wigging out and vaping like a steam train all day long, along with complaining vociferously on Facebook. :D

I quit for 9 months once using Chantix. I only took the Chantix for a month or 2. Even after 9 months I was irritable. I finally decided either I start smoking again or I'll be divorced and my kids won't want to have anything to do with me again. So I started back up. My wife had quit at the same time and she was ticked. She never did start back up. Now I thank God for vaping. No irritability. After a month of my vaping my wife started vaping too. She always missed smoking. Your doing great so hang in there!!! It gets easier!:toast:

delightful vapor shows an address of tuscon, az and a 800 number is listed on their site. My issue is the site shows 2012 web date, although reviews are posted from this year.

Never heard of them so I'm not vouching for them but you can't go by a copyright date. That's good for 75 years. :) They're showing new sales so I wouldn't worry about it. Doesn't mean they don't update regularly.

i have alot of t3s and i keep a rolled paper towel and swab the mouthpiece when i see condensate forming in it. that keeps it from building up as bad. if it is gurgling badly, you generally have to go through all the motions of a refill and dry everything out. when i do get a gurgle the first thing i check is the battery connection as that is where a flooded coil leaks out. congrats on giving up analogs. i quit dec1, 13 and didn't think it was possible. bought an ego at a black friday sale, vaped saturday had an analog after dinner and put it out halfway, tasted awful. i had convinced myself that i had a workable alternative and said i quit. it has been a great journey in four short months but i now know i will never smoke again. happy vaping

Yeah I can't say I really miss it. Of course I did think of it, but only to wrinkle my nose and shake my head, no, that's no answer. So I munched a lot and puttered around aimlessly alot, and got some of the stuff I was soaking in vinegar water rinsed out and drying, in the plastic bowl with the silica gelpacks, and got some other stuff now soaking.

However, I think I found something that might be helpful to me, being so newly quit. Dunno if you caught my posts about that e-juice I got a while back called "Dirty Ashtray." When I vaped it straight, and straight out of the mailbox, it was too strong for me (12mg), and really needed the aging time, as ECBlend recommends. It's almost a month old now, and this evening, I added *1 drop* of it into about a 3/4 full tank of my regular 6mg Virginia, and THAT is so realistic it's scary. It's probably still a lot better than the actual cigarettes would be (the last couple were so bitter it was like a mouthful of lye), but putting in that 1 drop of the smoky Dirty Ashtray added just a touch of the bitterness back in, so it's a lot more like the taste I remember.

I once had the same medication as Chantix, but in its "Wellbutrin" incarnation, as an antidepressant. I stopped taking it because a) it didn't help my depression that much, and b) it gave me swollen ankles, but I recall that it allowed me to postpone my after-meal smokes for up to a half-hour, which seemed miraculous at the time. It might help some folks with quitting, but to me it's the realistic simulation of the taste and sensation of smoking that makes vaping so effective, which of course you can't get any other way than vaping -- or just giving up and smoking.

I've come too far, and too easily compared to all the other times I tried quitting, to even think of giving up now.

I remember you all talking about aging your juices. My wife and I would try juices a right out of the mailbox and if we didn't like them I'd ever try them again and might throw them out. Since ya'll talked about it, I got some more samples in. This time the ones I didn't like I'm steeping and will try again later.

Glad you found something you like. I'm like that about straight coffee ejuice. I've found that a few drops mixed with other thing is great but straight up coffee vape is aweful!! LOL!:toast:

Actually Chantix and Wellbutrin aren't the same. I had the reverse happen to me. The Wellbutrin was prescribed for trying to quit smoking and was no help for that, but was the perfect additional antidepressant to take me from being just not as miserable to the point that I imagine "normal" people are at. Chantix, on the other hand, just made me totally crazy. I didn't even make it through the first week before I knew that it was a very bad drug for me.

The reason topping the topper off makes the gurgling stop is that when the tanks get low on juice, maintaining the negative pressure gets progressively more difficult. So ya' did good.

Looks like ECF came back-on line for different folks at different times. We were out all day and night yesterday. I'm seeing posts time-stamped while we had no access at all.

I didn't have any luck with the search or view last post either...hopefully they can get those options up and running again. I'm just glad to have ECF available for chat. I used my Mini Pro Tanks today on my MVP Petals and I have to say pretty good bang for the buck. It's just going to be a nice setup for work or football tailgates etc with the long battery life. The Minis are small but I filled both this morning and basically used them up today at work. Now due to the weather we don't have many people coming in so I can vape all I want, as the weather gets nicer that will slow down:glare:

So how do you use 'view last post'? I just rely on the links in my subscription emails - and they're not working. Always going to the 1st post of a thread.

LOL, I agree with everyone else, I felt lost without all of you!!! Not from the classifieds, Iowa, but I did order a BRAND NEW PROVARI!!! LOL *happy dance* Now, I'm waiting for the Kayfon to get off back order and its on to juices! :) Day 32 today

Saa-weeet! You're gonna like it. !
