Goood Mornin gang.....

Finally made it back in, after a jaunt thru the jungle, dessert, and hiways & byways of the intranet.
After the reboot, I changed my email and password as requested, but, then I could read post, but not respond to them.
nor could I get to my own profile to make any changes.
I logged out several times and logged back in.....all to no avail.
So being the extremely patient man that I am, I went to get a coffee, and a shotgun!!

I laid the shotgun on my desk, in the hopes that logging in would give me some more grief !!
While sipping my coffee, I deceided to go over todays email, and either the admins had seen the shotgun, or
the answer was in my email the whole time.
After clicking on the linc provided in said email.... all was well again.

I still prefer to believe that the forum admins saw the shotgun on my desk and fixed it lickity split :)

Moral being, if the forum isn't quite right today.....check your email..........( a shotgun off to the side, in view of the monitors, may or may not be helpful. As always........ Your results may vary !!

Oh so nice that ECF is back up and working better than before for me. Same as MikeE3 said, I could not access ECF at all yesterday or last night. Finally this morning Got back in via an email update on my phone and lastly with Chrome.
(I thought about the 'shot gun', too Ralphie!)

Nice to have it back and a lot of catchin' up to do! :toast:

I was trying tap-a-talk on the iPad from bed this morning. So glad I keep one handy.

LOL Reading while walking was always satisfying and painless. With that thingamabobber, it gets a lot safer. And a vapewalk makes more sense than a cigwalk. It is amazing that I still have plenty of wind left, even walking at 2.3 mi/hr. for half an hour.

Speek fur yourself! LOL We got the thingamabobber to curtail the bludgeoning we got from walking and encountering telephone poles, trees, cars etc. from walk reedin'! Of course, could go on here. Kids, cats, dogs... then you get into the poo syndrome...

Actually Chantix and Wellbutrin aren't the same. I had the reverse happen to me. The Wellbutrin was prescribed for trying to quit smoking and was no help for that, but was the perfect additional antidepressant to take me from being just not as miserable to the point that I imagine "normal" people are at. Chantix, on the other hand, just made me totally crazy. I didn't even make it through the first week before I knew that it was a very bad drug for me.

You're right; I was so confused about that, I went and looked it up; I was confusing Chantix and a different thing called 'Zyban' which is the same buproprion as Wellbutrin. :thumb:

Wellbutrin really didn't have much effect of any kind on me, other than, I could delay those post-meal cigarettes, an unanticipated outcome since I wasn't taking it for that purpose, and making my ankles swell, which concerned me hugely because I have low blood pressure; I don't want "congestive heart failure" any more than I want its opposite, and I have more than sufficient varicose veins in my ankles! :D But for my depression, which was major-league at that point, it really did very little if anything. Which was maybe a good thing, because when I tried Prozac (the 2nd time -- it had worked great years earlier on my post-partum depression), it made me so insane that once I screamed so loud I gave myself a nosebleed.

It was really Effexor that helped me the most, and I think it's because it's also a treatment for generalized anxiety syndrome, which is really the bottom-line of all my emotional disturbances. But getting off it was MURDER -- like having lightning shoot through your veins every few minutes.

Anyway, I guess I better get back on topic or someone will have something snippy and snarky to say to me about it. After the day I had yesterday with no ECF, I really couldn't handle snippy and snarky today, without having either a crying jag or a major snip/snark attack of my own; neither would be very pleasant.

My ARO pyrex **should** be here today; I'm keeping everything crossed that I have two of -- which maybe explains why I can't seem to type today.

Hello ALL!!!!

Even though I don't post much, I missed both porches while ECF was doin it's thing yesterday/today. Checking in to see how everyone's doing is part of my routine, so I was sorta out of whack. Kinda like the first day after a cig quit before e-cigs were introduced. SO happy you are back in my day. :) :vapor:

Sounds like you and I have set the same goal for the Lenten season so we'll have to cheer each other on.

AHA!! I got it, as I sit here with some black dust on my forehead. We had a peak just before and after the New Year. Now we get a peak of readership on Mardi Gras and Ash Wednesday. Now that you have given up smoking, what is left to give up for Lent?

I am starting an exercise/diet program. I have thirty pounds to lose.

I frequently get "Google Chrome cannot connect to e-cigarette-forum." Try again later.

Awesome!! I'm hoping to get some Vapemail today!!! I got another epipe by vapemail yesterday and I am loving it.

BTW- since the sight was down I spent all day surfing for sales. Thanks alot ECF!!! I spent another $50 on some drip tips a Hypertank and coils!!! Got a great price on the Hypertank though. Just $12.00. Lowest I've seen!!

Missed you all last night. I was one of the few who got on. Andria and I were listening to the Crickets on the Front Porch!! Today I had to go through hoops to get back on. I had 2 accounts and didn't know it. All fixed now I hope!! :toast:

I can log in w/ tapatalk and see a list of threads in a forum - but can't open any of them.

Darn. Sounds like everything isn't fully fixed yet. Hope they don't take the sight down again!!! I can't afford it!!! Been eying a R80 pipe mod for $40. If the sight goes down I'm not sure I have the willpower to resist!!!! :D

I did the same thing yesterday; first I tried to find another forum I could hang at, which was only slightly successful (got that new sig, which comes the closest yet to my actual quit-time), then I started hunting up "Virginia" e-juice, and found a couple others, so I guess that was a bit of a success too; maybe the Virginia I get tomorrow from myvaporstore will be ok, but I've also got one coming from Caterpillar Vapes, the Hangsen Virginia, and I found another that's right here in GA, so I may try it, knowing that it would ship to me PDQ, being in the same state, and I think it's also in N. GA -- not sure, it's in Woodstock, GA, which I *think* is N GA. Oh, I also got my "filling station" tidied up; it also serves as a cleaning station, and got some of that done.

It *did* seem pretty cricket-y here last night. Of course it also seemed very yoyo-y -- up, then down, up again, down again... etc. :D

Soooooooooo glad it's back... :thumb:
