Anyone here have an innokin SVD? I'm thinking of making this my first replaceable battery mod. Watched a review from Pete and he seemed pretty pleased with it, although he did mention that the buttons for the display seem backwards as far as the up and down settings, I'm wondering if that would get on my nerves a bit.

I was considering a SVD before I decided on the Zmax and everyone I talked to that had one, loved theirs.

It's my mod of choice. :) But it is like a war club! Mebbe that's why I like it. LOL But it is a bit more complicated to work compared to say... an MVP.

Thank heaven there's a section for us oldsters, especially ones with health problems. That description fits me to a T. ---1 1/2 pks a day for 46 yrs and after I year on vaping, 1 year vacationing from vaping and finally back to vaping, I'm down to 5-7 cigs a day. Before anyone says anything, I realize that I haven't quit but it's been extremely difficult for many reasons, but I'm trying.
Dave

Welcome to the porch!!! Pull up a chair and sit a spell. Watcha Vapin?

Glad to see ecf is back. So weird, they went down and all hell broke loose in my life at the same time.

I've been informed that my worker's comp checks are being docked 40% now and 25% of what's left goes to my attorney. The 25% I was aware of. The 40% they just threw at me. So now I have to find another place to live, meaning I can't afford this one and there isn't anything cheaper for over 100 miles, so it will be a serious, rent a uhaul type, move. I was barely making it to start with, no way I can do this on 700 a month. This has been going on for 2 yrs and every time I turn around they are screwing me in some way, from losing my insurance, to accidentally forgetting to mail me my checks for weeks at a time and now this. I am on disability. no longer able to work, but they insist I look for a job. Makes no sense and you wouldn't think they could require a disabled person to look for work. SMH

This so sux and I am SO over it. Sorry bout the rant, but I'm about to lose my mind. No risk of losing my 'quit' though, can't afford smokes!

I hate to hear that Patches. You know we're here if there is anything we can do to help. At the least you can chat with us for a bit to take your mind off of things. Things look bad for you now but in the end I'm sure it will all work out. Hang in there!!!!

ncpatches, I'm sorry to hear things are rough right now. Is there anything we can do? I've got some extra juices sitting around I'd be happy to send your way, pm me if ya want. Hugs

I second that as well!!

I've been told I'm very trying myself at times.
Welcome, Dave!

I find as I get older, the less patience I have for petty childish things. What I'm trying to say is, I think we all get a bit cantankerous as we grow older. We also don't always mince words. I tend to say what I think. I with you bigbells.

Yeah, the size kinda turns me off, there just doesn't seem to be a whole lotta choices in ladylike replaceable batt vv/vw mods out there.

Any particular stand out things you like or dislike about it?

Yeah, the size kinda turns me off, especially with the extension tube, figured I would leave off the extension tube and run it with just one battery to cut down on the beefiness of it. There just doesn't seem to be a whole lotta choices in ladylike replaceable batt vv/vw mods out there.

Finger nail polish. :D

j-wraps. Many of the women in the ProVari sub-forum have wrapped thiers with j-wraps. They seem to be split on preferring the full size or the mini ProVari's though.
There's a thread around here called "Show us your pretty, and pink" or something like that. It's a girl glam fest for mods.

Edit: Found it - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...show-us-your-girly-pretty-decorated-pink.html

The bigger mods are towards the back half of the thread.

Nah. It is only a problem if you have a similar device. I have vision spinners and other ego batteries in vv. They tend to be a issue because the vv mode is different on both. One raises clockwise the other counter clockwise. I have had that oh so special crispy burnt taste going from one battery to the other. That is the only devices I have had a issue with :2c:

Likes... it's a war club. :) Dislikes... was tricky to get the hang of the settings but once you get past that... it's like a war club. :)

Hmm, I guess it could double as a self defense device....

Hi ya, Dave, glad you found us! As I have read, every one you don't smoke is a plus. Pull up a rocker.
ncpatches - is there HUD housing there? My daughter has an apt. in a HUD disability-only place. Goes according to income.
Kim - I'm watching your discussion, I'm trying to figure out which one to get, too. Don't need a war club, I'm too small!

I've had one since last October. Really like it, good performer. I think the review you watched was on the first edition, and the + and - got swapped. Since you point the topper to the right for the screen to be right side up, the + is on top, i.e. up.

There have been reports of some problems, but mine's still going fine. I imagine those reports were from a bad batch, and that's (hopefully) corrected now.

If you don't mind shorter run time, it is a telescope and it's pretty small with an 18350... but I like to keep it loaded with a '650 for all day and then some :)

I like that it's all stainless (brushed, not a print magnet at all), and I personally prefer the multi button mods over the single button type. You can - with some practice - call up resistance, battery voltage without having to keep punching the button.

And one of it's nicest features, to me, is the ability to LOCK your settings so they don't get changed accidentally. (Hold + and - for about five seconds, display shows LOC. repeat to unlock.)
