I like the Aspire BDC ET-S if you can accept a non removable drip tip. The small size Pyrex tank Aspire BDC is usually a buck more at places I've seen both.

Sounds fine to me; at this point I'm not really even sure why a driptip would be used... seems kinda like it would tie you right down to that bottle of juice, for, what, every couple puffs? Of course I have no idea if that's true, it just seems that way to me.

Andria, sounds like your Virginia vape may need to steep. I think your eroll is muting the taste of it and you're getting the "real" taste of it using the Iclears and the iTaste . I have a few tobacco vapes and none of them really tasted right until they'd steeped about a month. It's a challlenge to build up a juice collection at first, the steeping times they need kinda leaves ya without a good juice to start off with unless you can find some to buy that is pre-steeped..

ok You totally lost me. Are you confusing a drip tip with dripping?

A drip tip is just the little mouthpiece that is removable and interchangeable with many devices.

Dripping is dripping juice on an atty from a bottle then vaping it.

The artificial hot cinnamon is a tank-cracker. The natural cinnamon
Cinnamon is a spice obtained from the inner bark of several trees from the genus Cinnamomum (wiki)
is not.

I am impatiently waiting for these DV BCC Clearomizer to come back into stock. It vapes cool and airy, but with great volumes of vapor on a fresh coil. I think a rehabbed coil is better with the flavor wick replaced with the cotton yarn. Won't hurt you to buy one when they come back into stock and try them-- but you will have to be quick on the re-order before I snap them all up.

Someone correct em if I am wrong but I think the iClears are top coils. Which means a warmer vape. The eroll is a bottom coil which is cooler. That MIGHT be the difference you are sensing. Also in a top coil you usually need to tip and twirl the device to get juice up to the top where the heating coil is or you will get dry hits.

I can't really be *sure* of any of this, but I think that's right, about the iClear being top-coil... think I remember that from the vid on filling it... and I know those AROs are bottom-coil... so those might actually become my *default* for using with this iTaste! :D :thumb: I really thought the vape with the iClear was a bit *too* warm, even warmer than a real cigarette except maybe for that last drag before the filter, and those often burned my lips.

Thx! That does help clarify things!

Ok, then yes, I am confusing it... I mean, you don't do dripping with a driptip? This is making me cross-eyed! :p

Andria glad you are enjoying your new toy...I am as well. I think I'm going to try the Kanger Protank Mini unless something here tells me I'm nuts (well I know I'm nuts) but I have found I do prefer glass tanks... I can deal with my Evods..but they aren't my favorites.

I think that's a great choice, I like the mini PT2 v2 a lot, I also like the mini Davides, although they are a bit more of a challenge to fill compared to the mini PT. (I use them on an iTaste vv v3.)

Another trick if you are using a device with an interchangeable drip tip is to just use a LONG Drip Tip to cool down the vape.

Some people indeed do drip through the driptip. I have a drip tip with a very large hole specifically for doing this. Most however remove the drip tip. Drip some juice on the coil. Put the drip tip back on and vape. This is the act of DRIPPING

The drip tip however is just the little mouthpiece. :)

Yeah I was thinking that might be the case, I remembered someone saying that the eRoll muffled flavors, and I recall reading somewhere that most all tobaccos need at least 2 wks or even more time to "ripen" -- so I guess the eRoll kinda muffled the "rawness" of the flavor. I'll just use what I have with the eRoll, and buy another bottle to just set back and wait for, try it later after it's aged a little, and maybe I have a different tank to put it in.

Thx!!
Andria

No offense to anyone that like pretty for their gear. I have now moved into full tilt vapocalypse prep. The legislation that just got handed down in the EU is pretty draconian and I could see the US following suit all too easily. Basically they handed the whole shebang to BT and BP assuming it doesn't end up a full ban from the "each puff must have an identical dose of nicotine" part.

I am now in full tilt get myself self sufficient for the rest of my life mode. So Mechs, RBA's RDA's etc. Not to mention Nic base in the freezer and DIY juice.

Oh I know what you mean... In some ways I feel like I've over stocked...but the Provari/MVP will quit working someday so also have a couple of mech mods, rebuildable attys, building my stash of kanthal wire, like the yarn so will always have that, batteries...juice I have a ton but keep ordering more. Yesterday really made me decide it's ok to have a nice stash on hand as I'm not so sure I will be able to purchase these items within a year or so.

Excellent news about the cinnamon! I *love* the price on that DV BCC... but (whining voice) I really want a glass/pyrex one, for all these juices that fold spindle and mutilate plastic... /whine :D

Well, I can't do anything about it tonight. Might as well just sit back and enjoy the Virginia in my eRoll, and get up early tomorrow to see if MadVapes ever responded with an approx date those AROs might be in stock... and if they still don't know, just order the red one. Heck I might just order it anyway, that red/silver combo would look pretty good with the silver iTaste. :p

Andria

PS: one thing I haven't mentioned is my idea for a juice I want to make, from existing flavors. I make a christmas cake that is just to die for... applesauce raisin walnut spice cake.... lord it makes me drool just to think of it. I've been tracking down some of those flavors, and I've found the raisin in a lot of places, but does anyone know where I can find walnut? I've found black walnut, but that taste is a little too strong for this cake, as I found out one year when I used them. :D The name of this juice would, of course, be "christmas cake". :D

columbus, oh
I'm really liking mine too. How do you have yours setup. I started w/ a vertical coil and "uber cleaned" hemp for the wick. It vaped great but I'm just sensitive to the hemp taste and don't like it, even after cleaning in Oxyclean and boiling it for hours. I switched to a conventional micro coil w/ Nextel from RBA supplies. The only 'problem' it tastes so good and I wind up cleaning it every few tanks just to keep it tasting so fresh.

6 wrap 32ga micro coil on cotton. Right at 2.4ohms which is in the sweet spot for the MVP. Good vapor production and not so blazing hot that I can't take super deep lung inhales without scorching my wick. Depending on juice I am anywhere from 7.5 to 9.5w.

I got a Hypertank at a local B&M and agree it's a good tank for the price..and it's glass:p I think I'll like the look of the Protank Mini better on my MVP..and they have pretty color tanks to boot:D

Iowa Gal, that's what attracted me to the mini Davides, all the pretty tank colors, lol. I was still such a greenhorn that I based my choices on what I thought would look pretty, luckily it turned out to be a good choice. ;)

Exactly!

2 REOs with 2 RM2s (and a nice supply of plain old fashioned dripping attys)

5 other mechs

5 other RDAs

3 other RBA/Tanks

2 divers with a sophia on my hitlist

so far 3 GOOD pyrex tanks

ENough Nic base for 5 years at this point.

Wire, batterys, cotton, Pg, VG, Flavorings are never going to be a problem to get. Too many other uses.

Looks like the lowest v setting is 3.3, which is where it's set; the lowest w setting is 6, and it's set to that.

One thing I did wonder about; when I started playing with it, I discovered that the default w setting was "8" -- is it possible that using that higher setting just kinda "burned" that particular tankful of juice? If I put more in it, and made SURE that the lowest settings were set on both, might it be better? Because I noticed that after I set it down to 6, the vape *did* get a bit cooler. So much to learn!!! :p

Andria
You are setting either volts or watts, not both. You cannot change one without changing the other, but the change is not controllable by the user. You might think you're setting both voltage and wattage, but you're only setting one of them. What device are you using? Knowing what device you have might help in figuring out which of the two settings you're actually changing.
