I was thinking maybe pecan; they're not all that diffrent, though walnuts are drier. Maybe Rocky mtn vapors has some, they have a bunch of savory flavors.

And yeah I found out that while black walnuts make outstanding ice cream, they just overpower everything else in baked goods. However, one year I used just a *pinch* of black walnut in with the regular chopped walnuts, and THAT was great!! :D

How about maybe a little hazelnut?

Well, to be honest, I have no idea how big that MVP is; I was kinda surprised by how small the vv3 is, which shows you, I can't really tell how large these things are from pics. But I'd guess that I'd find that tank too large; 5ml seems like a lot. I was just looking at the ARO pyrex v2, which*is* in stock in black at madvapes, but I dunno.. that thing reminds me of a magic marker... the mouthpiece part looks like the cap of the magic marker. So I guess I'll just go with the red ARO v1. I like the streamlined look.

I googled hypertank and found this youtube video which would give you a good idea of it's size.

Mvp with aro for size. Its not that big. :p

Ok, cool... that ARO looks perfect. As soon as I wake up, I'm ordering it -- I learned a while back, NEVER do e-commerce when you're half asleep, you'll mess something up MAJORLY! :D

Ok, I'll check it after I'm *actually* awake... right now I'm sitting here puffing 9mg and trying to see the keys and forget what I'm usually doing while awaiting that first cup of tea......... :smokie:

Boosting this to 9mg was a good idea I think, it really gave me a hallacious throat hit on my first puff... almost like one of those deadly awful things I'm NOT smoking right now, good enough to get the old wheezebox in my chest moving.. :D

It'll be nice when all this morning junk is GONE!

If I can get thru today (actually this morning is the only time I think might be a challenge), tomorrow I'm getting me one of those "X day since my last smoke" banners.... There's some incentive! Oh yeah, and I get to live longer... heh :thumb: I"m amazed I'm lived THIS long to be honest!

Come on tea, brew already!!!

It would be helpful if people would specify whether they are talking about the power device, ie, APV, ie, MVP in this case? or whether they are talking about the delivery device, ie, ARO in this case.

I have an MVP but I don't use it due to the PITB (pain in the ....) power button. The power button on my VTR (made by Innokin, as is the MVP) is SO much easier to operate.

Regarding delivery devices: I have no love whatsoever for the Innokin iClear 16 or Innokin iClear 30. However, the Innokin iClear 30S is the greatest clearo ever invented and is the only one that I've used for over 4 months now.

Might be good... but oh oh oh, I found Walnut! It's a Hangsen flavor, from caterpillarvapes... only $2.99 for 10ml, SWEET! Hangsen's are good, right? Think I remember someone recommending one of their flavors recently...

Yeah that Christmas Cake e-juice is gonna be great... won't have to wait for christmas baking to taste that flavor!! :D

Ok... I have an iTaste vv3, which I think is just cool as cucumber. However so far not thrilled at all with the iClear16, much too hot. I'm going to buy a red ARO as soon as my eyes open and my brain is capable of dealing with e-commerce without making some humongous SNAFU... :D

I have an iClear 30 that I use for my comfort juice (sassafras), but I don't particularly like it. The ARO is pretty, but I prefer the mini Davides for when I need glass, just because I used Egos for so long, and like the smaller clearos. Since I rotate so frequently, and often choose randomly, I really don't need large capacity delivery devices.

I hope no one makes the mistake of lumping the iClear 30S in with the iClear30. There is no comparison. iClear 30, myeh. iClear 30S: best delivery device ever. IMHO, of course.

Yeah I was thinking one of the best uses of the ARO is for when we go spend the day at my folks, I can skip that constant changing of tanks. When I was doing the refill-recharge shuffle with the eRoll at their house last weekend, she observed that I "spent more time messing with that stuff than I ever did with cigarettes." And that's probably accurate, but she's forgotten all the rituals that go with smoking, AND all the hassle of where's my lighter, where's my ashtray, etc.

Ok, I now have tea, so far so good, still no stinkarettes! I have the bacon cooking, and once I eat, I should be just fine; vaping after eating is every bit as satisfying as smoking after eating. :D :thumb:

I generally stay with mixing one-flavoring juices. Mixologists recommend that beginners stay with simple recipes. Orange (Orange cream with a dash of orange oil), cranberry relish (cranberry with a dash of orange oil), zinger (ginger and lemon), peachy mango, honey tea, and rose tea are two-flavor only mixes, and my coffee is a three-flavor mix.

For your Christmas cake, I would try the two primary flavors first, and add later to fine-tune it.

I will probably start with apple and cinnamon, to make sure I get the right proportions, since cinnamon is so strong. Mainly I'm trying to create a juice in which I can use that Oak Barrel Cider so it doesn't go to waste; it needs enough 6mg flavors to bring down that 18mg. Once I get the apple-cinnamon to taste right, I can add one at a time. I've been making the cake for about... gosh... nearly 20 yrs I guess... so the "template" is very clear in my mind, of how it should end up. :thumb:

Mike, I had a friend who made me the most delicious coffee recipe which had clear coffee in it. Maybe Janet can use this.

FA Tiramisu 8%
TPA Sweet Cream 1%
TPA Clear Coffee 1%

12 mg....70/30

Thanks for the recipe - I'll def put it on Janet's to-do list. After vaping the 'dark' High Desert Vapes cappucino yesterday morning - in just a few hours it gunked up my coil/wick. So I dropped that one from my re-order list even though I liked the taste.

The other flav I got to try was HDV's American Blend (a bakky flav). This one I did re-order. To me it's the closest to 'just tobacco' i tasted in 2 1/2 yrs of vaping. It's a mild bakky and even Janet (who DOES NOT like bakky flav's) said it tasted good. It didn't have any offthe caramel or nut or other flav's a lot of bakky's do. This will be the one we recommend/give to new vapers to try if they want to start w/ bakky flavor.

No offense to anyone that like pretty for their gear. I have now moved into full tilt vapocalypse prep. The legislation that just got handed down in the EU is pretty draconian and I could see the US following suit all too easily. Basically they handed the whole shebang to BT and BP assuming it doesn't end up a full ban from the "each puff must have an identical dose of nicotine" part.

I am now in full tilt get myself self sufficient for the rest of my life mode. So Mechs, RBA's RDA's etc. Not to mention Nic base in the freezer and DIY juice.

OMG - yes! Last night I read some of what the EU just announced. It's incredible how they say it's being done for the good of the citizens. I don't think so! It's being done for the money and control factor.

Exactly!

2 REOs with 2 RM2s (and a nice supply of plain old fashioned dripping attys)

5 other mechs

5 other RDAs

3 other RBA/Tanks

2 divers with a sophia on my hitlist

so far 3 GOOD pyrex tanks

ENough Nic base for 5 years at this point.

Wire, batterys, cotton, Pg, VG, Flavorings are never going to be a problem to get. Too many other uses.

Well I been telling myself to sell some of this stuff that I don't regularly use - but after reading what happened in Europe and what could happen 'here'. Maybe I should reconsider

Kanthal (28-34g), Silica wick, ReadyXwick, Hemp (twine and fluff), cotton yarn, cotton roll, bamboo thread, Petsmart ceramic stone, Alumina Oxide stone, FC2000 ceramic wicks, and a slew of batts from 18350 thru LG's 35amp powerhouse.

I have too much stuff - but I'm afraid of the FDA. And this doesn't include Janet's PVs, toppers, flavoring, PG & VG, or nic in the freezer. I'm still thinking to get rid of some of my VV mods and put the money toward a couple-few more decent mech mods. I'm a recent convert to mech's.

Myrany, if you were to recommend the easiest RBA to start with, what would it be? I want to get one to go with the Zmaz and learn to build it myself. Any particular type?

I'll 2nd Myrany's choice of the iGo-L (singe coil) as one of the easiest rebuildable for starting.

Myrany, (or anyone else with suggestions)

Any suggestions on the best basic mech mod that I could use a kick with that is also a good mod without a kick? I'm thinking that using a kick to start out with would be easiest for me, it would give me time to familiarize myself with the mech, make the transition easier until I'm comfortable running an unregulated mod. Also, any recommendations for a nic vendor? I want to avoid, if possible the "peppery" smelling nic.

TIA I appreciate any advice.

I wouldn't get a cheap one - it could give you a bad 1st experience. Go for something in the $40-$60 range if the budget can afford it like something from HCigar.

damn. is this really the old folks thread?

of all the threads i subscribe to, this is the only one i can't come anywhere close to keeping up with.

what the hell are they putting in all y'alls Geritol?

Yepper - I was gone from the porch for a day and kept asking myself this morning trying to catch up - what the heck is it about rocking chairs and vaping that brings out the chatter box in us? Yikes!

SOrry guys I guess I went overboard trying to help folks yesterday. I promise to be quieter today. :)

In other news I got the "Your Provari has shipped" Email. SO that is one more reliable device for the vapocalypse arsenal.

No you didn't. And yippie - it shipped!
