Do you fine folks find yourselves not needing a thing for vaping but find yourself searching online vendors for who knows what? It's crazy but I continue to do it. Over this weekend I spent a few hours doing just that. Lucky for me I found some flavoring to buy... even though I have 22 50ml bottles most are full 30ml bottles 16 of them almost all full and a 236ml untouched. I checked my rebuild box and have 300+ ft of kanthal 25 different toppers and love my current one but it doesn't stop my search. Ho hum

No - I don't have the need to go window shopping. Just hanging around ECF gives me enough stuff to put on my wish list, I don't have to go looking around.

Similar here, though it's not that I don't *need* stuff... I need lots! Just don't have the money for very much... so I hunt and hunt and hunt for the VERY best deals I can find... or a place that has more than one thing I need, for good prices, so I can save on shipping. Scrooge McDuck is a PITA taskmaster! ;)

GAS -gear acquisition syndrome. I keep telling myself if i buy one more mod or one more atty i will be good for awhile. This site is bad enough but i have real trouble going to my local Altsmoke store i always spend more than i intended too. Everytime i spend $100 i get $10 store credit and when i go back to redeem it I spend even more and end up with another credit. IT'S A TRAP!

It will mount up in a hurry. It's smart to shop prices regardless of how much you can spend. I had two missions when I started vaping. First to stop the smoking madness. The second was to save money. Mission one complete. Mission two is debatable. I'm just kidding on mission two. Once the hardware is up to snuff and if you DIY and rebuild it can be very inexpensive. Unless you continue to search ......

I'm pretty much at the point where I only buy for special occasions. Like going to the VCC ;)
My next "special occasion" is April. According to my budget, that is when I will be OFFICIALLY caught up on my initial overspending. If I can manage to NOT spend any this month (and I have everything I really NEED)...
Then I will "reward" myself. Been thinking of getting a pro-whatsit for the past 3 months.... This past weekend, I made an account and filled up the wish list.

Cool!

Was just at MadVapes (online :) ) the other day, and they have this going on:
1100mAh VV eGo Battery Kit

Pretty decent for a domestic vendor, and ups it to VV for her. Was getting some other gear and added a couple to have on hand.

Thanks for the heads-up. Unfortunately, they were OOS by the time I went there!

Y'know, there are some real shysters on ebay... showing a photo of two evods, two batts. and a charger for ~$16, then you click into the ad only to find that price is for one of each! And too many other deceptions to even list 'em all...

Must be something wrong.... I've been vaping for 13 months, broke even a good while back and am spending at least $250 less per month on vaping than I was spending on smokes.

The savings have helped feed one of my other addictions: remote controlled flying toys. But maybe it's time for me to get on the stick and peruse the vaping websites to find stuff that I didn't know I needed.

I have not tried the iclear 16b that came with my new MVP Petals only because I have a variety of other attys that work. I did however just order some items from Stormys Vapor Cellar and they do have the replacement coils for it.

I'm anxiously awaiting my vape mail today from Stormys as I purchased some ready made wires to rebuild my Sophia, 30g wire to rebuild my evod/protank heads along with two Protank Minis as I think I'll be happier with how they look on the MVP not having to use the beauty ring. Now to find the time and patience to rebuild:laugh:

Once it arrives you need to let us know how that red one tastes ;)

I went in on the $30 MVP V2.0 deal here from a few weeks ago. For those others who did, and other "energy" model MVP owners, what did you think of the iClear 16b that came with it? And does anyone know where to get replacement coils for it? They're unique to the 16b model, the larger 30b uses a different coil and both are different from the top coil of the rest of the iClear line. And you thought the Kanger coil setup was complicated.

Oh, I'm definitely saving money, even WITH all the stuff I've bought so far... those cigarettes are just INSANELY expensive, I don't know how I've managed to budget for them thru all the economic crises of the past... 6 years? sheesh!

I just found out something that has me reeling in horror... myfreedomsmokes' Virginia is sold out!!! NOOOOOOOO!!! I have 30ml coming today, but the way I love that stuff, no telling how long it will last.

I'm looking at some T3S clearos and the coils for them at myvaporstore, good prices, and they sell the coils individually as well as in 5-pks, and I see they also have a juice called "Virginia", no fire or flame cured, so maybe it's the same stuff? Or similar? I thought I would try 10ml of it, and if it's good, their 30ml is a buck cheaper than myfreedomsmokes... so maybe it's just more serendipity; I wouldn't have gone looking if the one I love wasn't sold out.

So I guess I'll wait to see what myfreedomsmokes has to say about when they'll have more, and if it's not SOON, I'll go on and place the order at myvaporstore.

10-4 on stopping the smoking madness. Sometimes I would just look at that burning cigarette and think, am I completely insane? This is so STUPID! but go right on smoking it... no more! 4 days smoke-free!!

trick is with spending.. dont think this will cost me amount X this months. Determine how long u use it and divide by that amount ;) At least thats how i get a clear consciousness about my spending ;)

Myrany so happy you got your ProVari and are enjoying it. I had to go with the Minis...had one standard and kept knocking the silly thing over...but I'm a clutz. Sitting here at work and just realized I forgot to bring my extra batteries for my Piccolo...that's why I love the MVP (which I also have with me) the battery life is amazing and I can just put my Slim Tank/Sophia on it once my other battery gives out.

You need a few sampler packs so you can find that almost as good back up flavor. I have 15 or so that I like enough to vape all day but not everyday, if that makes sense. I deal with myvaporstore too. I get shipments really fast from them. Location is NY I believe and I'm in NJ. Usually total of 2 days from purchase. Good vender. I took a long time to stop smoking. I vaped and smoked for close to 2 years albeit only a few cigarettes a day. It's been 13 months or so since my last cigarette. Congrats on no cigs so fast.

Ken,

I've been looking for notices for VapeStock and haven't seen any, so am wondering which 'special occasion' to which you're referring.

I've thought of that, naturally, but I'm *so picky* -- don't like tobacco that's really sweet (marlboro, pipe tobacco, eeuuww), or really strong-tasting (cigar, double eeuuww), or too smoky (just eeuuww) ... I know my tastebuds are supposedly dead, but if so, they sure are keen for something dead. Or maybe it's just this danged ol bloodhound nose, the bane of my existence. Sure do wish noses had off-switches.

As for quitting... I've tried over and over for 30 yrs... have wanted to quit for a LOOOOOONG time... finally this comes along, and WOW! finally a way I can REALLY quit and make it stick! So once I found this Virginia flavor, so similar to my cigarettes, I was all over that! :D

But speaking of tastebuds... interesting experience yesterday morning. I'm taking up the bacon to let it drain... get a bit of grease on my fingers, so naturally, lick it off. The TASTE! OMG, I thought I loved bacon before, but now.... gawd, that stuff is good! :D
