I just saw her answer to sending you her Provari... heh... but please tell us what you've heard about that inane, specious bill... what killed it? Don't tell me LAWMAKERS actually grew some brains!!! I would find that IMPOSSIBLE to believe! :D

Andria

Oh, well then, I won't tell you that. :)
Among other things, a rather large groundswell of communications to them, Provari on TV talking about putting planned expansion of their budding tech industry on hold, MBV saying they'd leave the State... Many local vape shops closing - and needing unemployment.

And, of course, elections are coming.

But word is the proposals didn't get into the budget bill.

This time.

If your right, then it looks like MtBaker and Provape will stay in Wa.

I'd start celebrating, but I'm not sure about you grapevine ... boy I hope your right.

Nice! Which version? I have a Vamo V2 on the way from FT. I got it in stainless steel. Been waiting on it a long time *sigh*

Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk

That's the one. :) And yeah. Took forever and tracking didn't really work. Just showed up. Works great.

Wisconsin bans smoking in all public places. There is nothing said about vaping. They are working on a bill to specifically exempt vaping from that ban. Electronic cigarettes bill clears hurdle

I am sure that I ordered my Vamo from FT in November. I just checked for the specific date on my account, and it says i ordered it on Dec 30 and it arrived on Jan 17. And the charge hit my bank on Jan 13!!? I guess international purchases take a long time to process?

Part of the problem is that the vaping industry wants to have it both ways. If it is just another way to smoke, then it should be taxed and regulated like tobacco. However, if it is a nicotine replacement therapy, then it should be regulated through food and drug. The vape industry wants to regulate itself. The legislators believe that the industry is incapable of regulating itself. I can see that to a certain extent, but who regulates the legislators?

I let all my tobacco flavored juices sit a month before I even try them .. it's just automatic as they always need the time to mature.
Fruits are OK almost right away depending on what else has been added.

The lemon juice is for fruits, the vinegar is for tobacco, and "darks" like chocolate,
They each do a different PH thing.

If your into making your own tobaccos, pick up some "Vape Wizard"
It's used for DIY, but could be added to a flavor you think has to strong of a throat hit or needs to be a little smoother.
If you use it, give it a few weeks to do it's magic
It only takes 1 drop for 6 to 10ml. If you use to much, it will mute the flavors.

Just a few idea's, have fun

Those are good tips about what to add to which kind, thx! But I got a Green Apple from MadVapes that wasn't good when I first got it, tasted more like green bananas. ugh.. but maybe it's time to give it another try, it's been sitting for over a week now. If it's not a lot better, I might try the lemon -- would a lemon flavor do, rather than actual lemon juice? I get droppers at Hobby Lobby, in the candy-making area, and I saw they had Flavor Art flavors for excellent prices, but they're just sweet flavors, no savory or tobacco. I really need to get a dripper thingie for tasting all these flavors, these big tanks are kind of a pain for that. Maybe next month. ;)

I'm always trying to get *more* throat hit, not less! ;) Why do you think I like PG-based so much! But I'm definitely going to try the cider vinegar in both the FA Virginia flavoring, and that last Virginia I got, from primevaping. I got an "extra flavor hit" and it's definitely the same FA Virginia, same exact green/vegetable/celery kind of taste/smell. But that first one, with the chemical taste, urgh, that stuff is nasty right now. If it "ripens," great, but it's going to sit a LONG time before I try it again. The hangsen Virginia actually turned out very well, after about a week; at first it wasn't really *bad,* just kinda... flat. Today when I tried it, I thought it was quite similar to the taste I was looking for, though just a *hair* towards a pipe-tobacco sort of taste. So I ended up mixing it with the MFS VG-Virginia, since the Hangsen's was quite thin and pale, I figure primarily PG. The mix turned out quite well!

cannot hit like on that one.
It's a tobacco replacement.
It does not replace nicotine.
Most of us do not use it as a therapy

You know yourself that it's not another way to smoke.
90% of all vendors self-regulate.
They do not sell to anyone under the age of 18.
Here in FL, they COULD, bit I don't know of any that DO.
According to the Gov here, they want to restrict it as an adult activity, but do not (yet) have plans to tax it as a tobacco product.

Ken:
90% self-regulate. And if people die from the results of those who do not self-regulate, what will happen? Remember the compounding pharmacy that gave its end customers meningitis through unsanitary procedures? What is to prevent (other than threat of lawsuits) unethical manufacturing procedures. We trust Wizard, for example. Nicotine extraction could become a major industry, as fewer and fewer smoke. Again, they put chemicals into cigs, what is to prevent them from putting harmful adulterants into nicotine extracts. And, I am wondering if those who vape unflavored are making a better choice. I just finished adjusting my mixes to around 3mg. Plus i have bottles of unflavored-- around 3mg.

Replaces the customary ingestion route for nicotine, for a more healthy one. Difference in semantics. People sometimes end up using nicotine chewing gum for years. Same difference. It is the traditional ingestion route for nicotine that is flawed. Those who vape often wean themselves down to a miniscule fraction of the nicotine which smoking provides. Harm reduction model.

Just a bunch of thoughts. I'll see what you come up with in response, in the morning.

My neighbor only had one cig all day. Son is sharing his Christmas present.

I know that people say to use lemon juice with certain flavors and vinegar with other flavors. I have used white vinegar (because that's what was on hand) with all kinds of flavors and found it to work well. Regardless of which you use, they act as catalysts and don't actually impart any flavor to the juice themselves, just as long as you keep the amount used reasonably small. I've used as much as 2 drops of vinegar for each ml of juice and not had any vinegar taste.

They have opened a lot of B&Ms recently. They have one opening in NYC soon. It will only be a matter of time before they get one near you too. :D Such a cool place to go hang out.

Got an email from Johnson Creek today. They are partnering with Republic Tobacco and will have their Smoke Juice products available in retail outlets nationwide. I love their Red Oak Ranier. I live in the boonies...not many B&Ms around that sell vaping supplies. Maybe Johnson Creek will make it to Wal-Mart. :D

Cool! We will be "twinnies" with our ss vamos ;) The tracking on my order now states that it was "despatched" overseas on 10-3-2014. Huh? ROFL!! At least now the USPS tracking does show that they are aware of my tracking number. That's an improvement from the other day. It will get here eventually.

Their date notation is different from ours, as is apparently everybody's. They actually mean 3-10-14, but they put the date then the month rather than month then date.

Vapemail! New Astro. Cool little mech. Light, holds a kick with a 18350 or 18500, got the magnet upgrade from Fatdaddy. I like the locking ring, pretty easy to use and is solid. Push the button it goes puffpuff. Life is good.

I think the mailman may start shooting out my porch light soon.

Is the Red Oak Ranier a tobacco flavor? I got "Red Oak Tobacco" from High Desert Vapes; I use it just as an additional flavor with other juices -- the smell reminds me of pencil shavings! It's funny, people always said they put pencil shavings in cigarettes!

That would be great if we could get e-juice at walmart, but knowing them, it would always be out of stock. :D
