I heard about this on the thread and I don't know why they did it the way they did but the battery sled has spring loaded - terminal but the + ones have a plastic rim that the battery catches on. I'm thinking of filing that down on the rear one. The rim should have been on the bottom maybe next time I'll try removing that end first.

The last review I watched was on the Squape Dream. He said it was a really nice vape after he got the wicking figured out but at $180 I don't think I'll be trying one soon and it looks like it might be a beach for the cloners to get right.

And there is a Thread on here where folks are complaining about the Dual Coil Deck that comes with the Dream, and with a Single Coil Build it doesn't work well at all. SO then you have to turn around and purchase another Deck. Might as well say that it cost $200+ Shipping. Mark Bugs RTa's/rda's are expensive enough but at least it's a good vape right out of the Box.

Damn these batteries in this Therion are the pits to change. I knicked the rear one a little trying to get it out. the front one isn't bad starting to think charging it on board might be better.
You can compress the tab on the negitive end a little to make it easier to get them out. There is a ribbon attached to the sled in my Hexes to help pop the batteries out, but I still had to compress the tabs a little to keep from messing up the wrappers on the batts.

I didn't pay much attention to DTs, until I tried to replace my old one. What a PITA and waste of money trying to find the right one. Like with other aspects of vaping, it's very interesting what works for other people and what doesn't.

I went through that recently after the chrome plating on my PT tips started wearing off. Kidney Puncher sells them for $1 so I got a dozen, assorted stainless and Delrin and brass. Figured out which ones worked for me and got some more. Some look good but are too long for the hole in the mod. Maybe try shaving them down a bit if I have time. Some are loose. I dropped a mod and tank on the floor picking it up by the tip like I sometimes do. Some fitted perfectly but were wider than the top of the tank and looked crappy. I only have 4 sizes of tank. PT2, PT mini, Lemo, and Kayfun. If you have lots of different tanks it would be even more of a pain.

There really isn't a simple answer.

Mine doesn't look like that and they made them so tight that even with the spring completely compressed the battery still hits the rim on the rear one. I'll try and get a pic for you. The front one comes out good enough but the rear one when you try to pull the ribbon it doesn't budge. It's a problem everyone is having with the Therion.

Well that doesn't work either. Good thing I only have to change batteries every 3 days or so. I have to use a screwdriver to get it to start coming out.

Any chance that putting a thin (~1/2" wide) strip of nylon reinforced packing tape with a 'grab tab' in a 'proper location' would help?

You can see how hard it is to get to the rear one here.
I can see not even being able to get a grip with the ribbon to get the back one out. Iffy's tape idea might work. But if it's catching on the rim & messing up batteries.... Go with Gary's idea.
