Good morning!

Not much to report, except that I missed all y'all. We had no internet in SC until last night: our home in SC was in Hermine's path. I was madly charging batteries while waiting for the storm to unleash, hoping I'd have enough to see me through the storm and its aftermath. Having to ration vaping was not my idea of a good time.

I missed all of the sales - prolly a good thing.

A belated "Welcome!" to @Bea-FL. I loved your signs... :)
Is everything ok? No damage?

The only thing worse is flood clean up.
or ice storm clean up :( we lucked out during the last one we had and a huge tree just missed the house. Just the very top if it touched the roof. :)

That would mean u never went thru a flood. :) Stench, disease rampant on top of the damage.

True. Fortunately I've never had to face something like that and really feel sorry for those that have had to :(

There are far worse things to run across and have to clean up. Especially when doing a welfare check and finding the occupant has been deceased for a week (and no air conditioning).

Welcome back. We were worried about you. Kaz has been pacing...

Sounds like you had the vaping side of your storm prep down pat. I have added to my collection a $200 generator. To small to run a/c, but it will run tv's, lights, and recharge batts... :)

We have to agree to disagree. When it cuts into a graveyard and there are bodies scattered for miles (Agnes, 1972) Mud everywhere and just can't be cleaned off so has to be ripped out and replaced. Sticks like paint. Stinks. For months or even years, damage is still apparent.

Also true. Down here hurricanes include flooding, caskets & bodies. It's all bad.

Got a mail from FT today. My order has been split into 2 parts. The extra squonk bottles were shipped but the mod is hung up for a few days.

I guess that gives the topper and batteries I will be getting in a couple days from another vendor time to get here. Oh well, there's also some TC coils for my Pico in the order, I can play with those for a week or 2...or 3.

Oh wow........I pictured you pretty tall. Probably cuz your avi looks tall lol

Hahahaha! Nah... I'm a short l'il dude. I got my mom's height and my grandpa's build... like a twig. But, like grandpa always said, "It ain't the size of the dog in the fight; it's the size of the fight in the dog." ;)

Always have bought from WL. Not sure where the pepper thing comes from, its rep. is that it has no peppery taste.

Back in 2013-14 they were always running out of nic. It was the go-to place to get it. Everybody would watch their site day and night waiting for it to become available. 100mg would sell out in a matter of an hour or two. Oh, the good old days.

That's been my experience, as well. Not peppery at all. I think it's a little pricier than a lot of other places, but the convenience is worth it to me... and it's rare that I don't qualify for free shipping. ;)

We need to get you an inverter that you can plug into the car? I have one that I bought years ago. You plug it into the car's cigarette lighter socket, and it gives you 120AC. You can use it to power or charge anything that you would plug into a wall outlet. Within reason... it's not powerful enough to run a hair dryer or a toaster, but perfect for a laptop, battery charger, or portable TV for checking storm status. :)

I tend to agree with Kenna on this, Legs. Maybe something else you want/need for the stash box?

Hard for me to add to this, Sub. I found my sweet spot with my KFV2s, so just got enough of them to, I think, last the rest of my lifetime... and on mods, multiples of the ones I really like as well. And, while a few of those are capable of much more power than this tootler will ever use, as said, extended battery life is a plus.
@DavidOck COOL! you found the gear for your Sweet Spot and I think that's great. Same here now I just maintain things which isn't difficult. Still vape quite low wattage 9 - 12; Coils running around 1.2ohm. COOL!:thumb:

@Kaezziel, I have a gizmo (technical term) that can charge an iPad from 0% to full charge, three times. It can also charge a Radius, I suppose. No inverter, though.

@Semiretired, good idea! Lil generator will go on the list. At our primary residence, we have a whole house, hooked up to the gas line, generator. Here, gas is in-ground propane, so no go. Funny -- I could deal with climbing house temps, but the thought of no vaping sent me over the edge!

Yeah Man! Speak on it;):danger:

@LittleBird When I purchase a home I will sure have to invest in a Back up Generator for the house. A must with the storms that come through
