Thanks @mattiem for this Orange Recipe. I've been vaping it 2 days now and I'm liking it. I didn't add the lemon drops as there was lemon in the recipe and I didn't add the sweetener (yet). I wanted to try it straight up. It may be the best tasting 'orange' I've had. It tastes just like a real orange. I'll probably add a bit of sweetener to take a smidgen of the citric taste away.

10% capella juicy orange
5% orange cream TFA
4% lemon TFA
6% mandarin orange TFA
Lemon juice-1 drop per 3ml
optional-a touch of sweetener
I am so happy that you are enjoying it. The only reason I added the lemon juice is because someone (I think it was Iffy) said it tends to stabilize or lock in the flavors so I add it to all of my fruity type e-liquids. I am happy to hear that this one may not need it. I am curious, did you not add the Tangerine? Maybe I don't need it in the mix. I gotta try it that way :D

thanks bunches for the feedback

Tangerine? uh oh ... did I miss that. I didn't have it as part of the recipe. I did, I did miss it from your post. duh!

was this it?
Mary's Citrus Delight

10% Juicy Orange (Capella)
5% orange cream TFA
4% lemon (TFA)
4% mandarin orange (TFA)
2% Tangerine (Capella)
Lemon juice - 1 drop per 3ml (yep, just the little yellow plastic lemon)
optional- a drop or 2 of sweetener per ml
This is a mix and vape recipe so no steeping is necessary.

It's hard to say. When we were using vBulletin, we had to close threads before they got too large and started causing database corruption. We've recently rescinded that practice, as there's no longer a need to close mega threads at a specific point.

Searching for something like that wouldn't be easy as we'd also have to take into consideration the old forums that are no longer active and were archived. Still, it's an interesting idea. Might do some digging one of these days. It would make for an interesting "Trivia" thread. :)

I would venture a guess and say the old one year anniversary thread. It was at the top of the page for two years solid that I know of.

@mattiem ... well I am enjoying it w/o the tangerine. But if we have any tangerine around I'll try that w/ the next batch. I'm guessing that would add a bit more of the 'orange' taste to it.
That is what I discovered as I was fine tuning this one. I think the Tangerine adds the rind taste and I love the rind on a good navel orange :D The tangerine has a touch of bitter to it thus the reason for a touch of sweetener for me. I am vaping some of my mix in a GS-AIR right now. Amazing how it tastes different in different toppers. I get a bit more of the sweetness under the orange using the GS. I get more of the bitter when I use my ARO's.

I had to cut back on phones when I first stepped into semi-retirement. I picked up a trac-phone for $15 and $7 a month for 40 min a month. And if you do not use them they roll over. I currently have over 700 min saved up. Service is not good around here if I get to far out in the boonies, but works fine everywhere else.

Stay away from their smart phones- money trap, but their flips for - hello and text is just fine. PM me if you want to ask more...

That isn't a bad deal. I may have to think about that. Most of the time, I'm either at work, or with my Bride... we kept her cell, so we do have that in case of emergencies. :) Hers has a data plan and stuff so that she can check her medical schedules and lab results while away from home. The hospital has an app that makes everything available to the patient. :)

I-45 at Fuqua, northbound side. Behind the Bargain Coffins place.

Hahahaha! I'll have to remember that! ;)

Joy is great as an enhancer to bring more of that bakery crusty thing out. It's a tiny bit sweet. You know how you sprinkle sugar on top of a crust on a fried pie, or a cobbler? Or a funnel cake with just the edge of the powdered sugar dusting on it? Just that barely sugared part? That's Joy.

Sounds good! Added to wishlist! That one will be in my next flavor order, for sure! :D

    Inawera Custard.

But... but... but... I JUST bought Cap! Now I gotta add Inawera to the wishlist...

Glad the appointment went better this time, Darlin'! And you're particularly funny when you're on the DILLIGAF meds... :p Ya sound like me after a few too many Jack&Cokes!

I think I would like this, too. I have the same thing only with mixed brands. I am more of a desert type and use cookie, cupcake, cake, danish, donut, etc. in this same way. Also, with and without some icing.

I should take a picture of my tiny test bottle Army. Some die for poor flavors, but others are now ADVs. :)

I tend to vape mostly fruit and/or custard juices. I've just recently started playing around with a few bakery recipes... still not sure if I'm entirely happy with them, but they aren't too bad. One of these days, I'll actually sit down and just do a whole bunch of random mixing to get some of the recipe thoughts out of my head and into a bottle... just don't know when that's gonna be. :)

I really prefer a smaller form factor, which is why I'm excited about some of these new pod mods that are coming out. No fuss. No mess. Just drop the pod in and go.

I just set my sister-in-law up with one of the myJet kits. She's been really happy with it. Of course, she's coming off of Blu cig-a-likes, so that's really her only comparison. It was kind of a neat little unit, though. The battery was thin and flat, and the pod just plugs into it. The pods are refillable, and if one so desired, it appears that you could possibly rebuild the coils. I told her to save the pods and coils so that I could see if it is possible for me to rebuild them for her, but she hasn't brought them to me yet. The battery doesn't have a lot of mAh, but the charger was kinda neat, too. attaches to the battery with a small magnetic adapter. Origin Vape had them here. :)

I discovered something last night. I’ve always had intermittent problems with Lemo tanks. Sometimes they won’t fire at all, and sometimes the mod reads the resistance way high and feeds out too much power so I get dry hits.

Last night I had a Lemo on a Provari and got an error code E1 which means short circuit. I knew the tank was OK because it worked on other mods. Finally figured out what the problem was, I think. The positive pin on the Lemo is flush with the negative ring, or even set back a little. The positive pin on the Provari is wide, so it must have made contact with the negative as well as the positive on the tank. The reason it didn’t happen on a Sigelei is that the pin on the Sigelei is much smaller so it would only contact the positive on the tank. I never noticed that mod pins came in different diameters.

The pin on the Lemo is adjustable so you can screw it out. But when you screw the tank on a mod the screw is so loose that it just screws itself back in. I’ve tried various tricks to keep the screw in the extended position, like putting tiny o-rings on the screw, but I haven’t been able to get it to work reliably. I did get the Lemo to work on a Provari by using a 510 to 510 adapter.

The Kayfun is like the Lemo, except the positive pin doesn’t screw out so I’ll have to use an adapter with them as well. I melted a spring on a Silver Bullet with a Lemo on it once and never figured out what went wrong. But I checked and the pin on the SB is wide like the Provari so maybe that was it.

I still don’t get why my Sigelei mod sometimes reads the resistance too high on a Lemo.

The 510 adapters I have are standard cheapo ones. They have a floating pin. If you put the adapter on the tank first it pushes the pin down so it extends below the negative ring on the bottom of the adapter. Then put it on the mod and it’s fine. I seem to recall reading somewhere that there are better adapters available with adjustable copper pins. Anyone know about that? And someone posted on this thread recently about using a Kayfun on a Provari, How did that work out? I don't think I have the whole picture yet. Any suggestions welcome.

I've only got a Kayfun recently. Tried it on the Provari this morning and it worked fine.

One thing puzzled me a little. I screw the Kayfun on and it stops dead. There's no springiness. Does the pin have a spring or anything? The other thing that surprised me was that if I screw the tank back off even the tiniest amount it loses its connection. It actually lost its connection a couple of times while I was using it and I had to screw it back down. It seems like the pin has no range of movement at all.

I've been using the Provari with a PT. When I put the PT on it makes contact with the pin, then I can turn it a fraction more against resistance to get a stable connection.

No, no spring loading on the KF pin. It screws into the positive coil block, so it's tight, no give.

It MAY be very close to flush with the negative "sleeve" (the 510 threads), and it is possible to "extend" it. You'll need to tear it down and remove the screw - the block will fall off :) Then make a small insulating washer for the screw. A small o-ring can work for that. Re-assemble. The washer will keep the screw from going as far back into the sleeve.

(When putting back together, once the screw is nearly tight in the positive block, use a suitable tool - slip-joint pliers, gas pliers, etc - to hold the positive block in line with the fixed negative block as you finish tightening the 510 screw.)
