With all the talk of camping and spirits, I thought I must've fallen asleep on the Back Porch for a minute...

Yet another order of flavors, last night. This time, chocolate, cocoa (never tried a chocolate vape), bilberry and forest fruit. Seems I go to mix a recipe and am forever missing one flavor!

Ooops!
No more talk of spirits from me unless it's how to make a strawberry margarita ejuice.

More that I just assumed that the distillation process removed pretty much everything. I know that even vodka made from wheat is gluten free because the gluten doesn't transfer through the distillation... I just figured that carbs and calories would be left behind also.

That's what I thought although like I said I read that the SS430 will get brittle.

Yeah, I've only used SS316L, and I glow the crap out of it when I dry burn to clean the crud off of them before a rewick. Then a quick rinse under the sink, dry every thing off, and ready for new wicks... easy peasy and no problems at all so far. But even if SS430 were to get brittle, that still wouldn't really be much of a safety issue in my mind... just means that you're probably gonna break the coil when you try to pull a new wick through it...

See, I knew you'd get there! Alcohol is full of sugar! Not a diet drink at all, carbs or no carbs.

Yeah, I should probably try to get back on topic... I really need to sit down a do a bit of mixing. Pretty much all of my juice stock has been depleted, and the plan to mix this past weekend was completely shot because we spent the entire weekend in the Emergency Room. Turns out, my Darling Bride had a build up of fluid in the pleural space of her right lung. Oxygen stats dropped into the 70's, so I took her in. They ended up having to tap it with a needle and drain the fluid off. Follow up in a week or two to see if it comes back and to come up with a plan on how to deal with it if it does. Still one step forward and two steps back, it seems... but we continue to fight the current.

Yep you can't beat the price even in China. The website acted a little strange but I finally got it through and got the confirmation email. Oh and they hit me a little high on the shipping. $9.05 for Priority but still came out to $6.30 a box including shipping.

Tell me about it... I just wish this was a problem that I could fix... the hardest part is how utterly useless I feel as I watch her struggle. I mean, I can tear a car or a house down to the frame and fix whatever needs fixin'... but I can't do anything to eliminate the troubles that she faces.

I know... it's just heartbreaking to watch her struggle and suffer and not be able to do anything tangible to make it better. It's hard, and it sucks, and sometimes I just want to yell and scream at the sky (and sometimes I do). *sigh* Mostly, though, weekends like this past one just serve to highlight the struggle... but things are looking a bit better now, and we're trying to move forward again.

Anyway... I need to mix up more Brickhouse Custard, Aphrodite's Kiss, Ambrosia, and Honey Nut Custard. Want to mix up a little more Apple Cinnabun, and maybe play around with a few other thoughts. Really, really need to make more concentrate for the Rooibos, too! I find my tastebuds are craving that flavor and I don't have any more made up at the moment.

Uh Oh. HEB excels in their variety of wine and beer, LOL. I really miss the best beer I've found, Shiner's Bok. My daughter lives in San Antonio , so when I visit we go to HEB. Why go anywhere else? Fla has nothing that compares. HEB is quite a store. If I lived in Texas, I might just take up cooking again. My daughter buys all this "hand crafted" wine.

We went to a state park on the Frio river that was a blast. Tubing was really fun. Grayton park ??

Shiner Bock is my favorite also! She's close to the Texas vineyard area so she has access to a great selection of great wines by the small vineyards.

Wine has far less sugar. Various flavored drinks are full of sugar.
Alcohol is made from sugars but the sugars no longer exist. That's why spirits contain no carbs (unless the are flavored) is because they also contain no sugar. Sugar is carbs.
Calories doesn't mean sugar. But alcohol does contain empty calories. Just not carbs and sugar.

Re-occurrence is highly likely from what the doctors said. The fluid build up was due to the present tumors in the pleural space, so as long as the tumors are there, the fluid will likely return.

Really wanna try this, but am missing a few. I do have vanilla bean ice cream but not sure how that would sub for a couple I'm missing.

I've got some MBF honey that biggie sent me. Not sure how old it is, but can try that. I have the pear, and different peach, cotton candy, and can sub the other two, so maybe I can go ahead and make something similar.
