Now who has been photographing my cat? Those blasted drones are everywhere. The wife bought me one for Christmas. Still trying to figure it out. I am 65 ...[emoji102] I need a Quad drone with a camera for darned if I know. Now a nice vape mod would have been more useful [emoji15]

We have a resident drone expert (@bigbells) who might be willing to help you out if you ask nicely. He posts some of his flight adventures here for us.

Drones aren't for everyone. I'm more into these:

Yes I was too and radio controlled boats when I was employed. Now with retirement one has to make the budget stretch and that is why I was so miffed at the wife for wasting money on it.

Rofl what I am planning is to put it into a box and give it to some enthusiasts for a birthday or next Christmas. That is if the wife does not smash it up first

Really nice!
Yes indeed nice, I had a large collection of both radio controlled planes and even the golden oldies that were on wires, alas, when it came to move interstate and the amount of personal effects I had accumulated over the years it was auction time. Yes, I now regret selling them all, but at the time it was a sensible thing to do. You just cannot hoard everything forever and when your family grows up and moves overseas, well, then its pictures and memories.

Ah ... now that brings back memories. My cousin and I built and flew many of the old school wire controlled planes. We even did a couple of the free flight gas powered airplane. They had a 15 second timer and just soared up until the fuel was cut off. Cool to just watch them glide/float along. Even cooler if we could recover 'em. It was one of our favorite past times growing up. As an adult my cousin took it up again w/ R/C planes.

I hope everyone had (or is still having) a lovely day! DH's family, most of whom are local, do a big celebration on Christmas Eve - some 30 people were gathered. I was the only vaper in the crowd, tho' several folk smoked. Of course, it was 20 questions! SIL once again said we really needed to get together so she can learn about vaping. As I've heard the same song for several years, I just nodded :). Perhaps someday...

I can't let today go by without saying how grateful I am to the Porch family for your love and support. I think i wouldn't have got this far without you!
