I got a 2 year old great granddaughter. I'm looking after her for a week since GD has been called up by the Guard to do traffic duty at the Inauguration. Also going to have her during the week this coming semester while GD is at college. I'm taking the late shift during that time so I'm available for babysitting during the day. I'll be at it 7 am until midnight Mon to Fri. Don't expect to be doing much time on-line either. Working in the evening will be the easy part.

edit: I'll be vaping all the time though.

May want to up your nic % ... :)

Still around, still vaping, still recovering. We 'baby sat' the 2 year old grandson for a couple days this week. That surely limits the time on-line and leaves us worn out. Back to our 'old folk' routine today, a 2 year old has a lot of energy. Shwew!

I've said it before on here but I was dumped off on the grandparents for six weeks when I was two. In their own words, it just about killed them. Our neighbors often have their two-year-old granddaughter on weekends and they're sort of brain dead afterwards. They wouldn't give up the opportunity to have her over for the world.

Saw a bit of that on the news last night, glad you're not underwater!! Hope that snowpack takes a long time to melt...

Yes, that is crucial. We drove by the reservoir today and it was shocking. It's almost full! It hasn't had that much water in it for years. El Whacko will be able to actually swim in it this year which will greatly aid his recovery. Vaping related? I wasn't vaping when we drove by, I was in shock.

Did you see what happened in Portland? Over a foot of snow. My parents (mid-90s) are socked in but well stocked on food and prescriptions. They are enjoying the view, which is breathtaking from their apartment in the "old folks' home." They do have help available at the push of the button. Vaping in relief. :)

Well, 2 days ago I had caught up, had my multi quotes in the box and had started answering them when I had to stop to go to an appt at the pain clinic. Today I finished answering them, click save draft, refreshed, and a few of you on phones will be happy to know they poofed.

Not on a phone and had that happen. :grr:

well......of course you aren't losin yur mind hunny.........along with the rest of us ya done did that a long time ago! :p Sorry hubby is sick again. Jup! It sickens all of us that many may not ever get the chance to try vaping, and like you said, those that might have..... won't cuz of the lies. In response to Diver I think being stocked up, and LB saying she never thought it would come to this.........none of us did. It's great for those who are stocked up, but still sickens all of us for those who will be left out in the cold. It was unreal the way they persecute smokers. Some places won't hire ya, rent to ya etc, the taxes, the health insurance all those things..... you'd think they'd love vapers. But noooooooo. just goes to show how really screwed up the gov't is. Not that we need more proof. Once again I missed a sorta nearby showing of A Billion Lives. I really wanna see all the crap that he uncovered, and it was in Waco (45 mins from here) for one day. But turns out my son had concert tickets for the same day so no transportation. For some reason my dil doesn't want me driving her car.

Glad y'all have a great snow cap! Like someone else said, hope it melts slowly.

Yeah but you didn't have to confirm to everyone I'd lost my mind.

Every year some of us get together on a sled dog forum to follow the races. I've been trying to get a woman there to give vaping a try for years. I am not aggressive about it, the whole nine yards, she can contact me if she wants more information, etc.

The other night she said she'd be back in ten minutes. When she returned she said it was subfreezing out, they had a ton of snow but needed to go out for a smoke. I told her something like it must be lovely but cold out there and she wouldn't need to go through that if she vaped. Tried to put it gently. Her response was that she wasn't going to, "Put something near my face that was going to explode." Really? This ANTZ BS is working against some really lovely people. She lives 3,000 miles away from me, there's nothing I can do. Hell, I can't even convince the guy across the street to switch. I feel so helpless.

What DavidOck said, except forget the fillers like PG, VG and flavorings. Best of luck, you'll have a blast!

Anyone else watching Friday the 13th?

Nope. I just lived through it in person. Wasn't fun. The moon was awesome though. :)

That and the ice storms.... Good that they're some place with help if needed. That one largely missed us, but some years back we had an ice storm that put about 1/2" of ice on everything. Couldn't sleep due to all the tree limbs breaking all night...

Her response was that she wasn't going to, "Put something near my face that was going to explode."

Hope she doesn't put a laptop on her, well, lap. Or a cell phone near her ear...

Exactly what popped into my mind.

Been happening a lot to me lately.

I haven't been feeling very talkative lately. So, I just collect the quotes to answer later. Then they're gone when I come back to respond to them. Happened at least 3 times.

So, I'm answering immediately this time!

Oh my ... quite the schedule you have before you.

    Yep and neither would we.

FYI ... there was some Provape talk recently on the porch. Just saw this in one of the Provape threads ... it's Provape's response to 'are you going out of business'.

"Unfortunately we're very unsure as to what the future might bring. The FDA regs have definitely hurt us, but as of right now it's business as usual. Please rest assured, we will honor or warranty regardless of what happens going forward. Thank you for asking!"

that is sooooooooo precious! I have a photo like that of my dad and my son that I cherish. Cept my dad is leaning forward looking at him, and my son is either a 2 days or 2 weeks old, can't recall. Declan aint much older though. I've wondered, is his name pronounced duh clan/di clan, or deck-lan?

I haven't been feeling very talkative lately. So, I just collect the quotes to answer later. Then they're gone when I come back to respond to them. Happened at least 3 times.
that's awful Both that you keep losing your quotes, and that you haven't been feeling talkative. ((((((((((T)))))))))))

well that's encouraging at least. Seems they'll wait til they're forced out, so hopefully something will intervene.

I can't see it, can I get the abridged version? I'm sure the link is fine. I'm having a super weird issue with our internet.......only 1/2 of it is broke. I've never even heard of this, but as you can see ECF works fine, but a stamping forum and some others won't load, and about 1/2 the websites I've tried to go to work, and about 1/2 dont. I get a msg that there is something wrong with the U-Verse account. My son said he'd call today, but I'll likely have to remind him. He was planning on being back today but doesn't look like they will be. He's only bout 10 mins away at his in laws.

can I get the abridged version?

OKLAHOMA CITY - A vaping wholesaler employee has been charged with embezzlement.Jody Hatfield, 26, has been charged with more than a dozen counts of embezzlement. Hatfield was an employee of Perfect Vape on South Agnew, a wholesale distributor of vaping supplies. According to court documents, he was boxing up those supplies and shipping them to accomplices throughout the metro area. For just the month of December, the total embezzled came to more than $100,000.
