I got baklava,
Make sure it's not full of alcohol or oil. If it's not, I'd be interested to hear what you think about the baklava when you try it and what % you used

Guys, remember, vaping flavors not meant for vaping could be detrimental to your health.
dunno if any of em that we use are actually meant for vaping exactly, but safer than McCormick extracts etc

Very true. But flavor places like TFA have a separate section for vaping flavors. Eating something and inhaling something are two different things.

DESCRIPTION This is a concentrated alcohol based extract and is extremely strong. Recommended starting percentage for applications is 1 - 3.5%.

I let the french toast I mixed breathe for a number of hours and will let it breathe a few more times here and there during the steeping process. I will probably mix up the baklava and pumpkin pie today or tomorrow so they can have plenty of time to breathe and steep.

I just loaded up a cart with some of their vg based flavors as well that I will be ordering this month.

thanks for the info. For myself, I'll stay away from em. But not criticizing you if you don't. Our resident chemist has said that vaping alcohol can be very dangerous though, and I trust him. Just FYI :)

Thanks, I didn't know that but not too worried about it at this point given the low percents I am using. Eager to try their vg based line of flavors I put in my OSDIY cart though for sure as they get rave reviews, but require long steeping times. I also have a .... load of normal tfa/fw/etc flavors that I am mostly using and planning another big BCF order on Monday for their 15% off labor day sale.

They make the baklava in their VG line by the way. The bread pudding and french toast also gets rave reviews.

I get frustrated real easily. Which means I tend to mess up anything else I try while I'm frustrated

Same here when it comes to vaping! I'll back off, let 'it' sit fer a while and then try again once my aggravation subsides. Having a couple of consistent platforms minimizes my 'gotta do' drive, thankfully.

Some of the other flavor sites have it also. You can get the extract versions of RF from walmart now - "Real Flavors" - Walmart.com

the extracts are concentrated so much they recommend you use about 1/5 of what you would use for their normal vg based flavors. Lots of great reviews of the RF line on the VU and ELR forums. I got baklava, french toast and pumpkin pie extracts yesterday from walmart. Only mixed the FT so far and gave it a warm bath to speed up the steep hopefully.
How does the balava smell?

have not opened that one yet but will try to remember to report back after I smell it and then again after I mix it and let it steep for a while. I am really eager to try that one. I wish I could find a good cannoli blend as well, think I will ask the owner if he is working on one yet. I did bookmark a few cannoli recipes on ELR that I need to make sure I order all the flavors for.

Thanks fer da reminder. Da last time this topic came up, I went and did a lil' Kurt/alcohol diggin'. What I found was that alcohol based flavs (ABF) bothered him and a few others. He highly recommends not to continue use if there is any sensitivity.

I did not find any statement that said ABFs are dangerous beyond the aforementioned caution. I've been vaping ABFs for near four years with no noticeable negative effects.

Do stay away from flavs that contain oils!!!

I decided to take a sniff. Smelled a bit odd but that could be the alcohol in it. Not what I was expecting though not really sure what it should smell like as I usually eat them before I have a chance to smell them lol. Should be interesting to vape once steeped. The pumpkin pie smells pretty good.

Juppity dew. I sure wish the gov would test in that respect. Flavor companies that separate for flavor and vape probably can't be positive the vape is safe. But I'm sure they KNOW the flavor side is NOT.

But it's like yer car engine. One system for fuel. One system for oil.
Yer body has a fuel system and an air system
Yer car needs gas and oil (not to mention air). Put gas in yer oil, or oil in yer gas... eventually... engine failure.
Just sayin' be careful!

    And as an add:
NEVER try something new WITHOUT an 'old reliable' sittin' by your elbow!

Jup......even the exact same shirt, exact same size, brand everything I've seen be way off. And they really think all fat people are short. I've only got 2 prs of pants that aren't highwaters.

My problem is the exact opposite. Men normally have proportionally shorter legs than women, and I go to the extreme. There is no such thing as pants that don't need alteration right off the rack. And pajamas!? I once held a size small to my waist, and the legs trailed off at least ten inches on the floor. I bet the woman who designed them stood back and said "Aw, isn't that cute! He looks just like a little boy clutching his teddy bear".
