me too. Wish I could remember. They weren't horrible, but the consensus was the 1600s were better. They used to have a 2000 that was the one folks really didn't want. If I recall right, seems they were listed at 10 amps.

That is what most of mine are. Got a few 1600's and the rest 2000's. Had most of them about 4+ years now...

10 amps will work in the reos if you've vaping 1 omn or up......but there was no point in getting them when the 1600s were 24 amp, and pretty much the same price or maybe a tad cheaper. I used 10 amp pannies til I got my tootsie roll batts. It may have been the 24 amp that folks liked, but seems it was something more than that from folks that had used both, just can't recall.

It seems that the 1600s lasted longer according to users' actual experience. Counter intuitive. But, that's what I remember reading.

I thought it was to do with battery sag. What @Debadoo said, as I recall, was that the 1600's held the top charge longer ... I didn't use button tops, so I can't say.

IDK I have both and the 2200's definately last longer when I used them
both 2200s and 1600s?

I was thinkin dancin wuz right til you said this.......and Jup I am pretty sure that was it. That of course is important in a mech but not so much in a regulated mod. So even though it was less mah overall, the top part went longer...... you get the prize!!

Aargh! Press fit attys! The top cap is stuck on a Manta. Anyone have any ideas on how to get it off? It needs dry burning and re-wicking in the worst way!
yuck. If you can get it off the mod........maybe give a dunkin in some oil? or put a towel on it and use some pliers unless ya have some of them soft grip pliers? Threaten it within an inch of it's life?? Maybe put it in the freezer for a bit. Have to do that once in awhile with craft punches. Don't remember what it does, but it sometimes works with metal

The manta does have a tight top cap. It goes all the way to the bottom (no lower lip) so you can pry it off. Put it on a mod with a large flat top (not a tube mod). Unscrew it slightly until you can fit the end of a flat head screw driver under the outer edge of the Manta. Just go in about 1/32 of an inch or 0.5mm. Pry up. Keep rotating and keep prying. It will raise up little by little. Once you get it off, remove one of those o rings inside the top cap. It makes it easier the next time.
It is a fine atty. My clone that I modified for bottom feeding is one of my favorites.
good luck

Thank you! I'll try that. It's one of my favorite attys, as well -- I have 6 of them, all modded for BF. I just recently changed the top cap on this one from copper to stainless, and boom! Stuck!

I think we haven't met. At least, I don't recognize your name. If we have, please forgive my memory lapse. If not, welcome to the porches!

200 days without a cigarette. Have not hand one in hand since the second I bought an iStick Basic and filled it with Strawberry-flavored juice. Tonight I look around and realize I have four tanks filled with DIY flavors that I enjoy, and those tanks all have coils that are rebuilt or re-wicked by me. That's a true testament to how wonderful the folks on this site are. I would not have even considered mixing my own juice or building coil heads without the help of everyone here.

Thanks for the welcome. I am a more of a lurker than a poster. I only recently started reading some of these general topic threads. Sometimes I know the answer and feel like I should post it. Usually, I just read.
I hope I helped get your top (cap) off.

Hot water ... run it under hot water. It might loosen the 'juice' acting like glue to hold it tight. Screw it into a mod (your least used/favorite) and give it a wiggle/twist/upward pull motion to break it loose. That's what I'd try.

Take it off the mod.
Put a KF on the mod.

Although this sounds like it would work as well, maybe even better
