I have given up or don't really try to get my coils exact - just within a range that I can vape. It has made life easier...

All I wanted was a little more resistance! :censored::censored::censored:

I didn't need the screws to chop the wires off, the wire to kink while threading it through the hole, brake the wire off while moving the coil into position!

    Were you being wire aggressive?

As long as it falls within the resistance range I'm shooting for and it makes contact with the mesh, I could care less if the spacing is "exact" or it looks pretty. If it produces vapor like it's supposed to, it's good enough.

Mesh  do you say mesh?

I thought that was all a part of coil making. Actually, I have had the same problems and hate building coils some days.

That's certainly a downside to tootle puff builds; small wire dia. That's one of the main reasons I moved up to 60-90w vaping; large wire doesn't clip off, bend easy, distort when rewicking or dryburning, need rewicking as often and the flavor is just as good as tootling if the build, juice flow, wicking and airflow match the larger chamber sizes attys. If an atty doesn't handle 24g or larger wire I won't even fool with it anymore.
Of course not everyone can handle or even wants 60 + watts of vapor but it works for me and the flavor can be terrific if done right.

Not really ..... just should have waited for the coffee to kick in is all.

Sometimes you gotta wait for more than the coffee to kick in...

Bored, this morning, so I went in search of Inw Custard. Which took me down the rabbit hole, reading pages of e-liquid recipes. Which brought me to ECX and then to Bull City. Which resulted in a $120 order.

One of the things I read about was mixing different custard flavorings to enhance the result. I also found a recipe for an eggy, "British Custard" that looks yummy!
