Yeah I think these are the only Kabukis besides the authentic that have the adjustable 510 pin. They're nice SS come with what I'm sure is an aauthentic aspire head also but it's a 1.8 and I have gotten to like the 1.6's. Really clean when you get them I just rinsed them for the heck of it I don't think it would even be necessary.

Hi, @BreSha6869! Welcome to the porches! I'm sorry to be a bit late, but I've been flitting about for the last several days :)

Yup, extra glass is helpful with Kabukii. I went about 8 months without breaking a tank and then Wham! Two, inside two days! HOH also has "B" stock, on occasion, if you need more ... I can't tell the difference :thumb:

@FlamingoTutu, where did you finally land with your neighbor friend? It seems that you were heading towards some flavored and some un-, with Spinners at the ready. If that doesn't work, I'm also delighted to throw my hat in the ring with any help you and he need. Just say the word. FedEx is my friend!

I'm sorry to have gone AWOL, again, without warning. My brother and DH are in SC, and I'm chief cook, bottle washer, dog walker, and anything else that needs doing. They leave on Sunday (I'm here for another week), so I'll be more attentive, next week. Meanwhile, it's wonderful to be with my two favorite guys in the world!

Good to see ya, Sweetie Tweetie!

Have ya tried the Cinnabun yet? I need to mix up a batch with the tweaks that you made. ;)

I left it up north, darlin. You know how I am about steeping: if a week is good, a month must be better! It should be perfect when I get back. I'll let ya know :)

hehehe me too! My thumb aint got nuttin to do now! lol

awwwwwww love da puppies! I've been puppyless again now for 3 days :(

dunno why, but sub-ohmin typically does use more juice, even if you're not vaping anymore than you used to.....so seems like the higher heat, vaporizes more juice, so I imagine you're getting more of the nicotine in every draw. I had vaped 24mg for 4 years.....tried to cut to 18 once cuz I felt I was getting over nic'd, wanted to seriously maim folks after a few days, went back up to 22-24. This was with dual coils at 1.3ohms. Started using SS wire..... loved em at .5 ohms, did that for a month or two still at 24 mg, but it was becoming very apparent that I was getting too much nic. Cut to 18, still felt a little high..... cut it to 15mg, and I'm fine. I am not vapin anymore than I did at 24 mg and 1.3 ohm coils, but I am going through more juice. But I easily cut down from 24 mg to 15 mg with .5 ohm coils. And sometimes I'm even vaping less than I did at 1.3 ohm coils.
Yep, kinda like Deb said. It vaporizes more juice, and more efficiently releases more of the nicotine. It also produces much more vapor, so you get more of it into your system. You can kinda do the same thing with higher resistances by increasing the wattage, but that tends to burn wicks and scorch juice more often for some reason that I don't completely understand...

Okay, makes sense. I can see the appeal when I do something "wrong" (DIY) and suddenly get more cloudz, but normally I'm happy tootle puffing. :)

Why would anyone want to vape BT tobacco? I guess they're trying to keep down the number of cigaretteto-vaping defectors. Blu makes me cringe, but they have gotten a lot of people of cigs and on to betting vaping experiences.

Yeah, I used to flick cigalikes occasionally. And three or four times when I was still smoking I tried to light the end of a cigalike. Melted some plastic but never actually killed one.

I once tried to light a cigalike at the dog park. Never had that problem with a mod.

But you see, we're ALL weird!

All those clouds have to come from somewhere. More clouds, less juice left in the topper. And if you want to get "there" without sub-ohm, just need to be sure you have a LOT of air flow!

But not as we know and love it, but their new system....

Philip Morris is throwing more money behind its iQOS heat-not-burn tobacco device to outrun rivals British American Tobacco Plc and Japan Tobacco Inc.

Yes, I guess we are the Weird Porch People. :thumb:

Good to see you Little Bird! Was almost ready to knock on doors trying to find out where you went. Glad you're having fun. :)

I crashed and burned before ever getting up there. The last two days I've been having a very mild form of the mini strokes I had a couple of years ago. It's not a big deal, it happens. Today was very good and a huge relief. Monday is now the attack day! And yes, going with 10mg mildly flavored, same of unflavored, and some no nic base for diluting if he wants. He can try it for a day or two and then we can adjust to what he's comfortable with. And thank you for your offer, you guys just rock!

Well... I'm outta here for the weekend. Gotta go pick up some pain meds... we ran outta patches, and the last one outlived it's usefulness last night. :(

I'm sorry she needs the meds. :( You two have a great weekend!

Yep I think it is probably a wire has come unsoldered because it took the upgrade just fine and after she restarted her computer the computer recognized it.
Yeah, that's what I'm thinking, don't know how easy it is to get to anything inside it, but if it gets power from the USB and not from the batteries it is likely an easy fix if you can get to the wiring.

We still lived in northern KY at the time. It was early January, freaking cold and I was standing outside, in the snow, shivering, puffing away.
If you think Northern KY gets cold, you should try Northern Indiana in January.:D
Of course as sure as I type that, someone from even further North is gonna remind me that there are colder places than Northern IN.

I don't tootle puff, but at 75 pg I don't get a lotta clouds at all. Bout the same as a cig sometimes, a lotta times less.

yeah.......right.........that's no big deal!! Why does it happen? You just wait for em to go away? You take meds for em? Can't they cause big strokes? I'm worried bout this, can ya tell????

Or How about Alaska. Been there - now that's cold. And then there's the snow and ice. Looks pretty in Christmas pictures but snow is a four-letter word for me. Truthfully, anything below 60 is cold in my book.

Make it anything below 70 and I agree completely!! A friend of mine near Destin, FL and I always say anything below 70 is just "below" So 60 is 10 below!

At 60 it's still short sleeve weather, and if I'm doing yard work it's even still shorts weather. Gotta be below 50 before I even think about needing a jacket. And below 30 before I'll put on a heavier coat, gloves, etc.

I hope those patches do their job. Bride deserves pain-free days and nights ... And you both deserve a lovely weekend together!

Tutu, wait. What?! No crashing. No burning. No repeat episodes. This sounds like a Very Big Deal! We want only good days, ok? So ... What's the plan?

Yup! Can't fathom how we did the have-a-stinkie-in-the-freezing-cold thing for so long! My cut off is 50 degrees, and that necessitates a turtleneck and heavy sweater. OTH, these bi-weekly hurricane watches are kinda getting on my last nerve :)

when it comes to cold I absolutely am!! But part of that is because cold makes me hurt really bad!
I know, just teasing. Remember, I have some kind of constellation of symptoms resembling fibro.

I like that Deb. I'll use that line!

Actually I was being charitable to all my KY friends when I said 60. 60 is daytime winter temp around here. I like it much better 70 or above. :hubba: It's great wearing short sleeves and flip-flops all year
