I'm so close to finishing my stocking up! I just need spare REO parts and some spare BVC coils. I think that's it!

But, Melinda is still having trouble with money and the house. So, it's gonna hafta wait.

So close, yet so far!

Of course, spending $1100 on the vet, plus medicines doesn't exactly help. But Amy (our doggy) is ok. And we're very relieved. So, it's worth it!

You are a good woman  I think there is still a window of time for stocking, I understand your dilemma but sounds like your priorities are right.

We had a friend staying with us for a few months, a friend with a dog. A couple of days after they left, Amy threw up. Then she threw up blood.

Melinda rushed her to the Vet Emergency Room. They kept her 24 hours and ran lots of tests.

They said she was extremely healthy. Her problem is nerves and a delicate stomach. We already knew that about her. But, bad enough to throw up blood?!

She's taking anti-nausea medication and a medication to protect her stomach while it heals, and she's eating soft food that the doctor recommended.

She really, really misses her doggy friend!

@DancingHeretik - Yay on almost stocked up! :thumb: I am pretty much but want to get more nic that I can tolerate before taxes are to kick in next month, dang it. Figure I can get FT coils in for a while before they get wise to that. Deeming/CA/couple other states suck. :(

So sorry to hear about Amy. Medical emergencies, human or pet, are the pits. Believe me, I know from experience. Hope she rebounds like there is no tomorrow. Maybe she needs a permanent four-legged friend? El Whacko would love to have one but this house is to little to accommodate two of them without a fenced yard. That and I don't think I could handle it if they both turned out be as insane as El Whacko is.

Glad Amy seems to be doing better. Tell her we care, give her extra doggie treats and to keep it up. :) El Whacko would send her some but he's locked up in a kennel as we're going to visit my parents tomorrow. Just realized I didn't pack stronger nic. :w00t:

thanks Debadoo but too late. Mailed it priority yesterday with 10% distilled water added. Seemed very thin. We shall see. She gets it tomorrow and if it is too thin I will send her some VG
that's me, day late and always a lotta dollars short! :D Hope it works for her

Middle, ring and little fingers on my left hand curled up and useless from Duprodens contracture.

My problem is that my rt thumb joint has been removed, so I have no "pinch" strength.
That coupled with some index finger paralyses, makes grasping things (even a PV) a PITA with my right hand. My hand/wrist was so messed up that they even shortened my arm ... It use to go all the way up to my wrist. ;)
I have to hold a pen like a little kid would hold a crayon .... So much for penmanship!
Sorry to hear this for both of y'all, that's got to be so frustrating!

oh honey, I hate to hear she's having issues still with the house and the $. Really sorry Amy was sick and missing her friend.

I am SS all the way in power mode. I don't care for TC either. Honestly I haven't really given it a really good shot, just tried it a couple times, didn't like it. Probably not really doing it right, but love SS on my Reos and don't use a reg mod much anyhow, and when I do it's in power mode.

Funny how the industry got it right so early on, yet millions have been spent trying to reinvent the wheel.

Aww! They do get attached. Mack's Mom messaged me the morning after I left him last week. Said he went to the spare room & barked until she opened the door. He jumped on the bed & looked at her. He was looking for me!

    Ever considered surgery?
I went to a hand specialist and his idea was put about 15 shots of lidocaine in my left hand, force them open and splint them straight as a board.

the Lidocaine wore off and tge pain was WAY beyond my tolerance for pain. Removed the splint abd let tge fingers curl up again (at least there is almost NO pain except for forcing those fingers open to trim the nails about every 2-3 weeks.

I never went back to the hand specialist again. I don't need that level of HELL. Crohns disease is more than enough HELL for anyone.

It's just a matter of the storage medium being full, and the system automatically purging data that hasn't been accessed for at least 30 seconds. Get a large capacity solid state drive installed, the spinning platter ones always whine.

And yeah, it does sound like you can halve your flavor %s, since you already are on a tank by tank basis.
