I have been using the Herakles Plus with the Ni200 coils for quite a while and I really like them. My problem is they are leaking and I can no longer get the coils locally. So I am looking for another tank that I can use with temp mode and have a rebuildable coil would be the icing on the cake. Any suggestions for replacement tanks?

The STM and the Kayfun V5 both work great in TC but if your going for duals pretty darned tight. You gonna attempt NI200? I found it was too hard to work with for me actually a PIA. SS works great with TC and you can switch over to Power if you wish and burn them off. I'm actually considering giving Kanthal another try. To me it seems like SS loses some of it properties when you burn it If I remember right Kanthal stands up pretty good. For some reason lately I just don't seem to be getting the amount of flavor I want using TC.

I have a couple of them. I will have to wrap a couple SS coils and see if they will work OK in temp mode.
What is the Kayfun? Who makes it and can it be used in temp mode?

Yeah the Tobecco Clone is available in the US. I have an authentic also and they are really close. I like the clone better for one reason, when you are oppening the JF it is much easier to see the insignia so you know where you are. I really like the fact that you can open or close the JF depending on how thick the juice is you are using. The STM doesn't have that plus the STM newest version doesn't wick really well with thicker juices. It doesn't give you dry hits but doesn't let enough juice in IMO. The Kayfun works very well in TC if you remember to really tighten the 510 screw down.

Thanks for the videos, I've been watching them while taking breaks. All I have to do is put it together and I'll be done for the day. Last night I saw some V3 clones for a good price and ordered a couple. I will have to really do some saving for a V5 if they are 119.00 like the guy said in the first video.

I have the sxk v5 mini I use in TC mode. I like it quite a lot. Enough I have bought a second mini and the full size version. Run it around 16w, spaced coil. Under 19 dollars.

Plus the Kayfun is easy to get parts for but I've never needed to change anything except the Orings occasionally.

The SXK is also supposed to be a real good clone also. I've just used the tobecco cause you can get them from eciggity for $26. There is also another seems like SMJY that is supposed to be excellent.

Get the Tobecco. I've got 6 of em an 1 authentic. About the same money invested. Get your Orings from the Oring store and any spare parts from FT. Only spares I've bought were 10 glass tubes around $20 I got the expensive ones.

Thanks, I was going to ask where in the US they were available and I see that Eciggity has them. I have heard that the SXK and Tobecco are both good clones. I will check them out and probably order a couple. What is the STM?

Numerous versions of Kayfuns, Svoemesto is the original. I use mostly EHPro clones in the V2 lineup, and they should be ok for TC, although I don't TC. But not spring loaded, so should be fine.

All my v2L+'s are Ehpro. My v5's are all Tobecco.

Yep ... I too agree. Got all my full size Tobecco V5's from there. My Tobecco mini's I got from a vendor in CA who also sells on eBay. It was the only place in the states I could find Tobecco KFV5 mini's.

I just ordered 2 of the Stainless Steel Tobecco clone tanks. I sat here last night and checked all the places I had already shopped and could not find any of them. I saw them at Eciggity and jumped on them. After I get them and get used to them I will order more O-rings and such. While I was on the site before I ordered them I was reading the reviews and saw the review by @2legsshrt.

Good choice Diver. I have never had a problem with any of mine excluding the occasional Oring. The ones on the head are the ones that need to be replaced once in a while because of the wear they get opening and closing the JF. Excellent Attys single coil and so easy to recoil and really easy to wick. Just remember to screw that 510 pin in good and hard. If you get too high of a resistance when you check them that is usually the culprit. What is really amazing with them is the flavor you get from them. It's like twice what you get with a STM with the same coil. And the easiest top fill I have ever used.

Also when you take it apart to clean it only tear it down as far as where the head is loose from the base don't take the head apart but check the nut on the bottom side of the head. Then lube the 3 Orings on the head with VG before you put it back together and the small Oring inside the fill cap and check that one for tears then you should be all set. Busardo has a good video on tearing it down and putting it back together with the AF holes in the right position and be careful not to lose the 510 screw when you take it apart. Most times it has a snug fit so it stays in but if you lose it then you are sunk.

Hey any of you Kanthalites use 26awg. I'm thinking of giving it another try I have 30, 29, 28, 27 and 26 from my Kanthal days and it seems like when I tried it the first time it just seemed to fire too hot.
