I do my own coils and wicking. Never a dry hit in my T3's, Evods or Mini Protanks.
If I don't pay attention and run the tank dry I may get a slightly burned tasting hit. But never a dry hit. got a couple of those in cartos when first starting. no fun.

so far I do not fool with Kayfuns and other fiddly rta's so no dry hits.
Kayfuns are not hard to build or wick. My very first attempt to wrap & wick a coil was on a Kayfun & it worked great. Still does. I'd have a hard time rebuilding premade coills, tho. They are so small i'd have a hard time holding them.

Have one, an original. Easy to build, but a bit too airy for my style of vaping. Air flow adjustment is a pain, although I think that got changed on V2. But the internal chimney is a pretty big inside diameter, so even closing the air intake way down is too much for me, even with a small bore tip.

So.... other than not suiting my tastes, a good topper if you like lots of air :)

Since it was thermostats rather than thermometers that I was talking about, do some thermostats now use thermistors to control on/off for the heating and A/C, instead of using bimetallic strips?

Digital thermostats are thermistor-based thermometers with digital control setpoints; ergo, no bimetallic strips, nor any mercury.

I don't suffer from C R A F T.......
I do! In fact.......I think........I've perfected it!!

Ummmm.....remote control?
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO driverless cars are bad enough, don't want two wheeled thingys going by RC

TC may become mandated by the FDA to prevent formaldehyde production... A tool of government regulation?
I'll be an outlaw then!! Just call me the Reo Renegade!! lol

Some who are interested in TC may wanna jump in on this contest

Less than they think I'd bet. Maybe bought it tried it and quit using it. Some die hard (2legsshrt :)) swear by it and it was good when I tried it but, I just find it too "fiddly." Until it gets easier and more accurate all the time I think it's going to sell but, be slow to truly catch on. PBusardo said essentially the same thing at the end of two part review of the Evolv software for the DNA200.
I think the biggest problem with TC are some of the chips out there are not very good. The YiHi was perfect for nickel but the Ti mode was way off but they got that dialed in with the latest upgrade. Now I just do my simple 5 wrap spaced 26awg 3mm coil in lock in the resistance set it for 410F and I use 14J which is enough to get it to temp fast and forget it. Never make any adjustments same vape all the time till the coil gets gunked up. I think a lot of people make their judgements with chips that just aren't that good.

And you can top fill them. While I use the bottom fill screw on my V2s, I have a couple of 3.1s that I top fill. Just don't care for the side fill on those...
Yeh me neither. Stopped using my 3.1 for that reason. The little ball valve was a pain in the posterior!

has anyone tried an eleaf lemo ?

I have a Lemo Drop. I love the flavor it gives but yes, it is airy! I put a vinyl wrap on the covers all but 1 hole. Adjusting the air flow is a PITA, so by covering air holes I made it so it works for me. I don't use it all the time, just sometimes when I am home.

A common problem with laptops and touchpads is dragging some part of the hand across the pad when typing. Sometimes, the pad sensitivity can be adjusted, but not all have that feature :grr:
Thanks everybody. I know it'd do it if my sleve brushed any part of the computer, not just the touch pad, but I also positive it did it several times when nothing did. Husband's laptop and the poor thing has taken considerable abuse from him so not going mess with the poor thing for a while. Will try to adjust the pad sensitivity before the next trip.

I was waiting to post yesterday until we got home to avoid the problem. Arrived home to find our service provider had blown some equipment and we had no internet connection.
When I look back to the things that have come about in my lifetime so far it is absolutely amazing. When you add our parents lifetimes you just have to sit back in awe of how far we've come. Now take a minute to postulate what it's going to be like in 50 years if we continue at this pace of advancement. If we make it another 50 years. The state of affairs in the world today is absolutely scary.
Maybe in 100 years we will have become so advanced we've wiped our species out and the world will thrive once again. Just look at what's happening to the area around Chernobyl.
It's funny, my Spock always had this look of "wasn't me!" Geordi has this look of " What?" Tasha is just "oh bother".
For those that don't know, Spock, Tasha and Geordi are my dogs. Spock is no longer with us, thus the puppy Geordi. Tasha is my avatar.
And El Whacko will look at you and say, "Yep, I did it, what about it?" :grr:

Bought a gallon of PG today at Tractor Supply. That's about a two year supply, I think. Still have over 250ml left, gave 250 away. Cost $23. You gotta love how inexpensive vaping can be compared to smoking (not to mention health benefits and getting to meet a fantastic group of porchers). :D

im looking for a relatively low priced RTA is the Billow RTA any good and the other ehpro tanks any good ?

My Kayfuns are all Ehpro. No problems. In fact I'm making it a point to only buy those.

I agree w/ Kenna. We have 5 Ehpro Kayfun Lites (4 Nano's, 1 full size). The quality is good, vape as well as the 4 'real' Kayfun Lites we have ... actually hard to tell the difference between the clones and the real deal.

If you like the nano size - a good deal for $15 is:

Most sites carry the full size for about $25.

Yes, it's amazing! Sorta makes me wanna cry (in a joyful way).

Joy is such a beautiful, precious and all too rare, but fulfilling word.. thank you! And yes, vaping is amazing beyond my ability to express my appreciation.

Oh yes, just think back to our grand parents and their daily lives. In retrospect, just within my lifetime, I'm stunned by our technical/medical advancements! Just too sad that human nature hasn't kept pace! Survival isa b*tch for all too many through no fault of their own...

If we make it another 50 years. The state of affairs in the world today is absolutely scary.

Obviously I won't be around on this earth at that point. But, my prayer/dream is that I've raised/'armed' my progeny to meet and survive the future challenges and turmoil. God bless and give them joy!
