uh huh ... I use an old Nemy clone as an atty stand when doing my coils. I forgot to screw the fire button in locked position. Pushed down w/ the screwdriver when turning the coil screw and oops! :(
OUCHY! I hate when that happens, but I use an old ohm meter box as a stand. Doesn't read ohms correctly, but at least it won't fire on me! Hope ya heal fast. Ouch!

Take one of the ego adapters that come with many mods. Drill a 1/4" hole in a suitable piece of wood and drive the adapter in. Never have to worry about a locked button...

I've seen a lot of talk about these 2 items, I have no idea how good or bad of a deal they are. :)

LavaBox DNA200 Mod $135.99 LavaBox DNA200 Mod $135.99 | Vaping Cheap

Smok TFV4 Tank (Full Kit) $24.70 Smok TFV4 Tank (Full Kit) $24.70 | Vaping Cheap
I'm sorry, I don't know anything about them either. Hopefully bumping to the next page will help.

That has to hurt like the dickens. If it's any consolation, I've seen one that was worse. It was a perfect "impression" of the whole length of the coil. Looking at the picture, it was a very well-made coil. Hope the pain goes away quickly. Burns are the worst.

I've recently moved up to 4-4.5 nic (mostly mixing 3 and 6 together); since I don't sub ohm anymore, it seems like I need a bit more than the 3mg I was using. As to chain vaping, welp, guilty as charged! S'ok; I'm not smoking, so I'm a happy Tweety!

???? Whatchyoumean, Willis?

Seriously, why would a case be positive, and how the deuce would I know (prior to venting a nicked batt, that is!)?

You are NOT an idiot! I knew what you meant, and appreciated the response! :)
I've never actually seen a mod with the case being positive. Back when I was using a VAMO I actually used a battery that had no insulated wrap on it at all. It got really messed up so I ended up peeling it completely off. Didn't have any problem with it at all. In a mech mod though it would have been a completely different story. Probably not with a good ending either. :) People make out like the Lithium In battery is a bomb waiting to go off. It is if you don't take care using it buy really cheap ones but, I've never had any problems at all.

Poor Birdy! That's why God made syringes! I never use drops unless it's under .05 ml. I'm lazy like that.
Me too. Always have used syringes. I am thinking of trying the weight method. My digital scale is up in Virginia right now but, I might pick up another one next time I'm at Harbor Freight. They have reasonably good ones cheap.

Mike this one has holes in the posts then you screw down the screw
They can cut the wire even worse. If the post is hollow you have to have a really light touch when tightening the screw otherwise it will cut the wire. If the post is solid and the screw is tightening agains the bottom of the hole it's a lot easier. I don't know why they even use hollow posts other than cheaping out on the design. Hollow posts don't need to be drilled for the crew hole, just threaded. :-x

It might be harder to mess up with a scale. That is, as long as Deb doesn't send that squirrel up here!
hehehe I try to keep the lil bugger caged, but he keeps pickin the lock and gittin loose. Hopefully he won't make the long trek from Tx to you!

I'm the same, Mike! Everyone is told to get what they need from the kitchen, I'm going to mix. No humans, no cats, no phones, no doorbell, just stay the **** out!
I only mix when everyone is either asleep or gone!

I line up my flavors for the mix, uncap them and put the caps behind each appropriate bottle.

I use graduated cylinders to mix, by volume. Once the flavor goes in, I put the cap on the bottle.

Working from a base just above my "nominal" nic % and slightly below my preferred PG%, since any flavorings will bring the nic down and the PG up.
I do this too except for the middle part about the graduated cylinders. Mix a 1/2 liter of base at a time. Pull some up in the bottle I'll keep it in which has already been labeled, add flavors, cap and shake.

THEN I opened the package from bells. SURPRISE! Two bottles of flavoring, nectarine and green apple. Will enjoy them so much. Got the Provari, and it vapes fine without accessing the menu.
awwwwww how sweet. That Dave izza sweetheart!!

hehehe LOVE Charlotte's Web. Have both the animated and the live action one with Dakota Fanning on DVD. Prefer the original animated one but both are good!

Ouchy!!!

hehehe now this is the type of tech talk I can totally understand!

It must notta been in here that I read it then. I just posted it, here and on the back porch, thinking maybe one of the places is where the talk was. I think I'm pretty well stocked up on stuff now, probably stocked up long before now, but talk about kayfuns got me to get 3 more. :) I have several devices and toppers and everything else that goes with them, and at least 20 to 30 years worth of nic (if my daughter's don't come back to vaping), so can't justify getting (or think about getting) the stuff in the links I posted, just hoping it was a good deal for someone.

My feeling is that it was other components of cigarette smoke that caused cravings more than nicotine ever did.

Totally agree on this point - I can go a couple of hours while working in the yard and not even think about needing a vape, but that definitely was not true with the old stinkies. I seem to vape more when I am sitting at my computer than any other time of the day...

Luckily it didn't hurt at all. I was ready to plunk my finger is some ice water, but the pain never came. I guess I have enough callous on my finger tips and that's all it burned through.

It's a special day for me, 3 YEARS VAPING!!!

Great! Wahoo! Congradulations!
