Baby vaper.Bimbos happen, Tutu. I'm sorry you & your husband were subjected to that. Good for you for maintaing, tho, you are the better person!
Boy, you ran into a brand new baby vaper! He'll figure out quick that the "What are you vaping?" Question has multiple answers concerning what is in your hand at the moment. Mod, tank or rda, wire, build, ohms, wraps, cotton or rayon, juice, pg/vg ratio, & who makes it! Answers upon answers. "I don't know" is insufficient!

ProVape now recommends No-ox, like it better than the other stuff.I don't like using noalox on PV threads. It's really made for aluminum connections not the SS threads on most of our PVs. And it has to be cleaned off periodically and is a pain in the .... to clean off and re-apply.
And I'm not convinced it helps connectivity from personal experience. I had a couple identical mech tube mods where you could 'turn the tubes' to adjust for different batt lenghts. While they 'hit' OK - I wanted to see if I could decrease the voltage drop under load. First I measured it, then I applied noalox to all the thread. Yikes! Voltage drop got worse not better. 20 minutes cleaning all the threads thoroughly and I was back to square 1.
No-ox-id is a better thread lubricant for SS PV threads. Actually I don't use anything any longer, just keep the threads clean.
