I used to get 3 or 4 colds a year but since I started vaping a year ago I have not had a cold or flu. I've read that PG is a very powerful anti-viral agent so vaping may have protected me from colds and flu
Welcome to the porch Maurice! Glad to have you here. Pull up a rocker and take a comfy seat cushion from anyone but Iffy (his are either whoopee or pin cushions).

:) PG is also antibacterial. :thumb: Don't know how much you know about vaping but if you see the comments that you are vaping radiator fluid, it's because PG has a very low freezing point. PG is used in radiator fluid that is safe for birds and other animals to drink, unlike regulator radiator fluid that will kill them. PG is not safe for many cats. You can also find PG in your toothpaste, food, soap, medicine, etc. Not saying vaping is 100% safe but unbiased studies show it to be over 95% safer than smoking.
So... who sells caution flavor?
BT. Really, you didn't know that?

It may be that what I am dealing with is an allergy. I just closed an air-freshener which might be the culprit.
Can you leave the house for 20 minutes or longer? If you can, do your symptoms start to go away?

Long story short, I was just up visiting my parents. While staying in an apartment in the (upscale) building, I had really bad hay fever problems. From years, decades, of experience I've learned it's because they (anyone) hasn't replaced the filters on the AC/heating units. I developed a allergy to some mold/fungus as an adult. Took years to figure out. Anyway, if you can leave for a bit and feel better, you can start narrowing down what it is in the house that's making you sick.

Hope you nailed it with the air freshener.

Which one do you have? I have Inawera.

Sent from my LG-V700 using Tapatalk
That was real good. I have Atmos Labs' Honeymoon. Maybe even better than Inawera.

I have heard that the honey flavoring stinks when vaping it.
Most do. Seems like European manufacturers get it right.

Subzero weather. I have had three episodes of fibromyalgia in my life, and scared that this is leading to another. May get out on Tuesday.

Now taking Benadryl.

My floral teas seem to be bothering me more. Maybe something in my vapes that I developed an allergy to?

You are having to stay holed up indoors because of the weather. There's no telling what is growing in the air vents & walls of that place. You need some daylight & fresh air to help your breathing & clear your head. Even if it's cold fresh air. Bundle up & step outside for a minute several times a day. Just an extremely short period of time might help you.

I might run over to the bar across the street and get some virgin fruit-juice drink when they open. The walk to the truck-stop would be a bit much. Probably a good idea.

Welcome Maurice! Can ya tell us a little about yourself and your vaping history? Sit a spell, you've already been warned about the cushions. Oh, and that purple lounger is Debadoo's :)

Fibromyalgia (had to look it up) would scare me too. :(

Is the Benadryl helping at all? The downside to Benadryl is it makes you sleepy, though a major bonus when we have to give it to El Whacko.

My ADV used to be key lime, until it gave me asthma symptoms. I'm not allergic to key lime. It's just something in the flavoring and it didn't occur to me for a long time that that might be the problem.

We had a terrible time figuring out that El Whacko was allergic to oats. We'd take him out to play, he'd sometimes come inside and scratch himself for hours. Sometimes out of the blue, he'd start vomiting when he hadn't been out of the house. Then we gave him a bath. With oatmeal shampoo. He scratched like a, er, dog. Finally gave him Benadryl. Itching stopped until the pill wore off.

What had been happening was he'd go outside and eat deer poop that had oats in it. Sometimes some grains of feed spilled in the house and if he ate an oat, he'd puke. Oatmeal shampoo itching went on for weeks even though we bathed him and even took him down and tossed him in the lake a number of times. Allergies suck big time. :grr:

I had pretty fast relief, meaning I could tell the difference, within 4-5 hours after switching to something else beside the key lime vape. May or may not be that fast for you but it is worth taking a look at.

Anything can trigger it. I guess my long remissions have been a result of not having chronic pain-producing conditions. We just feel pain more intensely than others, which causes a worsening of the fibro. With osteo setting in, I need to take my Ibuprofen regularly.

Which then turns to juices suddenly getting more irritating. Not an allergy, strictly speaking, but an irritant to my throat. No more TH nic for me. I may end up tossing it, or PIFíng it.

maybe vaping should be added to holistic medicine.it made me feel better than when I was smoking and people notice that I don't cough or get winded near as much as I use to
Welcome Maurice!!! Seems like you've been here before, but.......I forget things that really do happen, and somehow "remember" things that never did happen......so I'm probably wrong........either way......welcome to the porch!!!

Finally, a vape stand that I like! I feel such a sense of satisfaction!
Love it!!!
