Even at full price it is a hell of a mod. The all white one is really cool. I just can't get over how much it does and I heard the TCR settings for the different SS's are right on. I might have to try a spool. I'm going to order some more Ti from Unkamen and he carries SS430 which is supposed to be one of the best for TC. With these mods you just set one of the config settings up for which ever SS you have so when you put that atty on like for me I have config 1 set up for Ti you set config 2 up for SS430. Then you just change to that and you can change your power settings all you want besides having the 5 faves already set up. Pretty amazing stuff. I'd grab one of those White ML's to put away with my Silver on Silver M's but I'm saving my money for a Q

Congratulations, Tutu! I know how hard it's been for you to get to this! It.s worthy of celebration!

sorry about the stress, but so happy you never thought about a cig!! As kenna said, that's really worthy of celebration!!!!

Glad that's over! Congrats on staying strong through it all and on forgetting about the cigs!

FANTASTIC!!! Celebrate!! I know it has been hard but you succeeded!

FlamingFlamingo-- so proud for you.

At this point, with the stink coming from my neighbor's place, the thought of smoking is disgusting. Mixture of tobacco, diesel fuel, and food, all burning.

Lightning Vapes has a 25% off sale this weekend.

Good for you Tutu! I can't think of the last time I though of a cig so thankfully I'm getting a good distacne between me and my old habbit.
Thank you! That's really nice of you guys. Would like to clarify though; I haven't really wanted a cigarette in at least two years. It's been more of the programmed reflex. Bad stress, duh, reach for a cigarette. Instantly I'd realize I didn't smoke, didn't even want to and would grab my mod. But this is the first time, and it was an extended period of time, that my subconscious reflex (if that makes sense) never even went there. But I do consider that a huge victory. :D

The last cigarette I tried, out of curiosity over two years ago, tasted so bad it felt like my tongue was burning and took hours to get over the taste and burning sensation. Still "habit," conditioning, has been hard to get over. I wish it wasn't but dang, am I ever grateful vaping came along and those that came before us to pioneer it. They saved many lives, most likely including mine. How do you repay that?

Jup.....a few days ago I was watching a show, and folks kept lighting cigs...... now I haven't wanted a cig in a 2-3 years, usually don't even think of em, or if I do it's in disgust..... but there was something about them lighting them, that for just a second made me think fondly about that. Not a real craving, didn't even want the cig, it was just about lighting one. It was over quickly, but May will be 4 yrs for me and that conditioned response was still there. It was a bit shocking

I would like to know your experiences with Rayon Wicking please?
I'm thinking about using it since I'm all about the Flavor, but would like to hear from my own peers over those opinions of the younger Cloud Chasing crowd.
Thank you ahead of time for your time in sharing your opinion

I'd like to ask a favor of any graphic guru's on the porch. If you have the time and ability can you help me. I'm trying to convert this logo image to have a transparent background.

Logo%20Vintage_zpsstcoqvq4.png

Best I've been able to get is a transparent background that 'works' OK when the image is put onto a white 'page'. But when I use it on a 'colored' page the image has white edges along the logo borders. Gimp V2.8 and my Mac are not playing well together. When trying to clean up the edges after a bit ... the erase tool just stops working. Spent hours on this and gave up last night.

Great stuff, switched to it a couple years back. Wicks better than anything else I've tried, fibers are aligned "naturally", so no need to comb it straight.

As with all wicking material, expect a few tryies to get the density right. Tight to snug fit inside the coil, as it will compress a bit when wet.

We've been using Rayon (Delasco Balls) for over a year and obviously like it over cotton, even KGD. It wicks better than cotton and the taste is fine (sometimes if over stuff, it takes a few vapes to get past a muted flavor. It also seems to last longer than cotton.

It will take some trial and error to get the amount right when switching from cotton. You want it snug to tight, like David said, to work well. It doesn't swell like cotton and if you think you're using too much, you're probably not using enough.

I find that twisting it a bit during the insertion process works better. Don't just twist the insertion end, twist the whole thing.

Thanks 3mg will do appreciate the tip

Alright then I just placed an order through Amazon for a Box and will sure keep these things in mind as I learn to use it correctly. Much appreciate your input MikeE3

Sounds like it was selected/cropped it off a white background leaving a few pixels of framing. If you want to strictly maintain the size, you're going to need to remove this and "grow" the image vertically and horizontally by the number of pixel widths removed. Gimp has a "grow" feature but I'm not certain it extends the image boundaries in its selected background color. If not, one of the gold standards for these kinds of adjustments (mac, pc) is shareware GraphicConverter with a host of useful professional level features (full featured non-reg use is free, but launch delayed).

Good luck M.

Just have to remove all the white AND save as a PNG. GIF will almost always show a white edge. Only problem with PNG is older browsers don't know what a PNG is. So if you want to use it on a web page you need to have folks that don't use ancient browsers.

I tried rayon, but I get a weird flavor from it. I used it for the first 3 or 4 wicks when I first began my own coils. I didn't like the taste. I tried Koh Gen Do organic cotton & that flavor wasn't there. It wicks great even without peeling the outer layers off, which I never do. I still have some Cellu-Cotton so may have to revisit it just to see, but I have no desire to change.

Thanks Gary. Now when I use it to print a trip-fold brochure, what ever color I use for the paper stock will come through. Really appreciate it.

Thanks Mac ... I'll look into Graphic Converter. The original image came from a scan of a brochure printed on stock the color of the back ground. When loaded into gimp it already had an 'alpha channel' layer, so I used the fuzzy brush tool to highlight and remove areas of the background. That left some white edges. You're supposed to be able to use the erase tool then at the pixel level to touch up the edges. I just couldn't get that to work.

Not sure what you mean by remove all the white. And I think when 'done' I was saving it as a gif. I'll have to explore some more. I'm not very savvy at graphic manipulation yet alone using gimp.

Haven't used gimp in 1000 years but I do believe it has a "blend if" feature which is the quickest (and arguably best) way to remove white. Trying to just use a brush to erase it is an effort in futility. Still can leave a slight "jaggy" edge to the black as this one did since it's only a scan so wasn't perfect to begin with.
