Sorry, everybody... I've had a heck of a time getting all caught up today. Hope everyone had a wonderful day today! :)

When I first came to ECF I was irrationally envious of people celebrating their one year veperversaries. I wanted to quit so badly for so long. I unabashedly admit I'm still jealous. Seven years, freaking amazing. Congratulations!

LOL! By the time I got to ECF I'd already been vaping for quite a long time... I just wish that I'd found ECF back when I started vaping... could have saved me a TON of headache!! Dawwwww... don't be jealous, your own story is freaking amazing in its own right! Anyone who puts down cigarettes deserves a standing ovation! So thank you, and Congratulations Yourself!!

I won't say I seriously envy those willing to experiment, but I will fess up to a twinge of jealousy, and no small measure of curiosity!
you'll get to experiment plenty in April!! there will be tons of mods, atties, tanks etc there. I'm keepin the faith!!

I'm not going to make it this time  :(
awwwwww I'm sure you'll be missed by those who are going.

He and Janet were just convo'ing. He's still kicking but having a tough time ... said he just doesn't feel up to posting lately as he's been feeling pretty down.
As others said, if/when she talks to him again, please give him all our love!!

I think I will be wearing pirple jeans and a purple Tshirt with a Terv on the front. :)
Excellent choice!! Love me some pirple! hehehe It'll be easy to spot subway.....look for a HUGE beautiful smile!! You'll see that first, then notice the ball cap!!

Where's the fun in that??
It's not, but it's a blessing if you don't have it to spend! :)

rofl!! That cracked me up!

I hate these long multi quotes but you guys do know how to give someone, so many of us, a lift. A very, very humble thank you up front.

I'm really liking having the watermelon bubblegum vape. It ain't perfect just yet, but it is nice.
holimakaru posted the other day, I thought on this thread, but it was just a ...... here's this thing cheap at this place post and then he was gone. And of course you've seen Wolfy just came back. Haven't heard anything from Amoret though. Hope she's ok.

(((((((((Tutu)))))))))) I know it's hard honey, but try not to worry. I so wish we could help fix the issues you're going through. I know you hate the thought of moving, but maybe it's time with the trees dying. Might be a reason you need to leave that area. I know El Whacko is breaking your heart. I hope you can focus on the wonderful times that you've had with him. I will be praying for peace in your heart for all these things.

You rang?? (Miss Pot) :p Actually you're not bad about that, but it would have applied to just about anyone else on here, so I wanted to use it!
El Whacko will deal with it, we just may not be able to do him right. No one should suffer, including poor people. Um, I don't mean me, the world in general. He was dealt a cruel hand but he won't die from bad hips. Amazing how dogs make the best of a bad situation. Wish I had his zeal. Thank you for the kind words, You're still an enabler.
Tutu, sometimes it just feels like too much, doesn't it?! Fortunately, we are resilient lil critters, and somehow we manage to get through it, despite our worrying. Praying for a peaceful heart...

I won't say I seriously envy those willing to experiment, but I will fess up to a twinge of jealousy, and no small measure of curiosity! No doubt at some point something will surface that hits all of the right buttons and I'll be at it again. Like the upcoming BilletBox rev.4! :hubba:

Good morning, Porch Peeps!
You are so right, and sic 'em Little Birdie!
But--Robin, you are a well-known personality in the vapeworld. Without you, the conference might go flat!
You have a very valid point. What have you to say to that Ms. Robin? :sneaky:
Look on the bright side ... you've got your pick of things to worry about ... seriously sorry to hear right now things aren't going good for you ... but try to remember it won't always be this way ... and you've got all the support and prayers from us porchers coming your way.

Are the trees dying from the mountain pine beetle plague? When we visit our daughter in Colorado, it's just devastating to see acres and acres of dead trees do to the infestation of the pine beetle.
Mike, a sincere thank you. I'm, seriously, waiting for my second wind. Seems slower in coming this time. It will come. It's not the property, it's the beings that are here. Wild animals that have sought shelter here for over a decade. An orphaned deer that's been here well over a decade, a rabbit named Frank. There's so many. We walk every night, a couple of bats often go with us hunting along the way. They chirp, I whistle back. It's amazing. Their habitat is almost gone, no one will care for them. That and I don't want to be without them.

The trees are dying from a combo of multiple types of beetles and drought. We joke that on the bright side, we will be able to see more constellations, satellites and meteors on our nightly walks with the neighbor.
Most people know when to change the battery on a REO. Until I started subohming on one I never did. I never noticed the change in the vape over 1 ohm until the battery was BAD drained (like 2.7 volts). I had to figure out how much of a bottle = change battery.

Incidental story about stick shift cars. I ALWAYS drove stick shifts until about 1984 when dad gave me a buick. Then when I sold the buick I got a tracer that was a stick. It was having some issues so my brother in law drove it one day to see if he could figure out what was wrong. First thing he said was OMG this is a freaking stick. Followed by Holy S___ YOU can drive a stick?" Like it was the most miraculous thing on the planet. I still laugh about that.
My father made me learn to drive his brother's VW beetle. Staggering how many Americans have no clue how to drive one. Almost as people that have no clue about what they are vaping on.
So sorry you are going through this time of uncertainty, Tutu. My prayers. Think of Job, and count your blessings.

The last time I saw Legs, he posted that he was dying. I don't know whether he was depressed, or feeling very poorly. He needs our prayers.
Thank you. I had no idea about Legs. God I hope he's okay. He doesn't deserve what he's gotten. I fervently hope he comes back and keeps telling us about his latest experimentations. I love it when he and Wolf get together, most of it goes over my head, but I love it.

Legs, I know you probably don't think much of it coming from me, but feel better soon and come back. We do miss you.

Looks like a solid 1.8 to me.

Learned to drive in a VW bus. And still drive a manual. Got it when I was still employed, and the sales person thought I was nuts.

Well, my route to/from the job was on mountain roads. (Hydroelectric plant electrician.) So, during storms and power outages, I'd be called in to the plant. Bad enough when an auto transmission shifts up on you, but when it shifts down on an icy curve.... Much prefer knowing when it's going to do that - i.e., when I do it!

Have you ever plopped something down into your Vape Box and one of the Wire Coils underneath spring on you. EEK! Wire popping everywhere. Just a mess. I just shook my head laughed and pulled it out of the box:shock::w00t::lol:
oh dang......hate it when that happens. I get my wire from lightning vapes, and I can easily cut a lot of slits in the plastic to tuck the wire into. If that doesn't work, these things are something a lotta folks like. I had trouble with em, but it seems cuz I use such thin wire 30g, either that or ya gotta be smarter than the doo dad.

Thanks Deb that will work for sure. I thought I had the ends of all the wires caught on the plastic on the Spools, but guess I didn't have one of them good enough. Placed them all in Baggies for now...LOL Hope all is well this morning

Never realized folkz had trubble wit wire. All temco wire comes in a spool with a hole in it. No fuss, no muss. And never a shipping charge for anything.
So did mine gary, however it came loose and popped wire mess all inside of the box. LOL Life happens:lol:

When I first started making coils I watched a lot of videos. I think it was super_x_drifter who had the trick of cutting an old school eraser to size so it fits on the reel and holds the wire in place. I do that on the spools I use more frequently as an easy on/off.
