You & Classy are the ones that rock. You go out there & wade through all the junk science & mud slinging & bad advice. I dpend a few minutes in the newbie threads & run back here with my hair standing on end. You know we love you & appreciate you!Nice to see Mattie back here![]()
She really needed your guys' love
Sometimes things get to be too much, out in the battlefield, then it is nice to go to those threads (like this one) where you can just regroup and not worry about any battles going on.
I have a couple that I keep in my back pocket for when I need to just have normal conversation.
As a moderator, sometimes if feels like I have a split personality[emoji38] I can put on the moderator hat for those types of threads, then pop over to another thread and just get a bit crazy
Mattie, always remember to come back to this thread when you feel a bit overwhelmed. You can find your center here![]()
I know I am not a regular thread goer. I do lurk a bit at times..... you know...... when things get a bit much elsewhere in the forum. It's nice to just read the friendship and love in these pages.
You guys rock!
Well don't get lost, ya hear!No I'm not leaving all together just getting back to a more normal schedule of activities. I'll still be around just not as much

As a moderator,
She is a Senorita, not a Senior.Well, @Robino1 , as a SENIOR moderator, where else would you be but here, moderating us seniors?![]()
I'm in on the kickstarter, and the final price will be $180. Keep looking at their page every once in a while and it will get there. They are really going all out to get the construction just right so it stays inexpensive and will work as well as possible. All the detail sounds like fun. And, being able to actually create what's in your head!
Not that I have the money right now; but, the one you linked to isn't even ready for pre-order yet. I wonder how much it'll be once it's out and people have a chance to review it.
Nice to see Mattie back here![]()

I'm having a problem with the Hana Modz v4s that I got in January. I noticed a couple of days ago that it's draining the battery even when it's turned off. I checked it, & one of the contacts on the battery sled is loose. It only had a 30 day warranty plus it's a blem. Is this contact what is causing the battery to drain & if so, is it something I could repair myself?
Bummer and I would think that could be possible to drain or not charge stay charged if connections aren't solid. If you're not familiar post a picture of what you're seeing and we can try and help figure it outI'm having a problem with the Hana Modz v4s that I got in January. The little silver clamp at the positive end is very loose. Like it might fall off. What do ya mean by loose, Kenna? Loose where it attaches to the sled? If that's the case, then yeah... you should be able to fix that without too much hassle. I need to go dig through google to see if I can find a pic of that mod and battery sled to see how it's put together... back in a few.
If the wire is still secure to the contact then a little Gorilla glue or epoxy will be just fine to hold it in place where it should be. It is more than likely causing a poor connection and getting a bad reading to the board. The little silver clamp at the positive end is very loose. Like it might fall off.
I'm fghting the urge to put a drop of Gorilla glue behind it. The soldering on the wires is solid. The only thing I see wrong is that loose thingie. It's just a regular sled for an 18650 flat top. I don't use the usb charge feature, i seap out batteries.
