LOL, and glad you noticed I'm looking younger. It's all the radiator fluid I've been vaping. :D

How have I never seen that before?! That was brilliant and dang, he is good! Thank you! :)

Wahoooo! The Odd Couple lives!

That's ridiculous, they don't have better things to do?

Last year my husband got me the red Provari I really wanted and didn't need. Used it every day since. This year I asked for all the garbage he's been stockpiling in the shed to be taken to the dump and get regular garbage service. We'll see.

Border Collies are smarter than humans, they just pretend to be a little off to make their owners feel better. ;)

Thanks, I suspect you're right. The spare bits and bobs that get locked down help put my brain back together. Rabbit looks like a long lost relative.

:bday: Happy Birthday Russell! :bday:

Vamping was priceless. :)

With TFA, you probably have to little flavoring. Then one day your taste buds snap out of it and you have way to much. Also, didn't you buy 4oz. bottles? I haven't gotten one that didn't need a while to steep. That includes the 30ml bottles.
No I bought 4ml sample size bottles. I want to figure what I like first and then order more.

Here you go! The Flavor Apprentice Flavor thread.

And Andria's recipe for ideas. 4th post down, & has some alternative ideas.
diketone free cream recipes?
I got the Google Docs chart of recommended percentages for flavors from just about every vendor. They recommend 15% so I upped the percentage in my 10ml mix and we'll see. Don't really taste much difference. Not giving up. I'll try a few different percentages but, I really don't taste much when I go to the local b&m and try their juice samples either.

Give it a day or 2 to settle in. Wizard Labs page for it recommended the 5%. The spreadsheet form showed 15%. Wizard might be drunk.

All Border Collie, she's a handful.

My son's dog was a Border Collie. We had her for 13 years. Very, very smart. And, very, very loving.

I so miss that dog!

they cannot pull you over because they suspect you are using a device that is no longer legal to sell. it will never be illegal to own.
They can pull you over for any reason at all. It would be improper of them to do it, of course, but that doesn't do much good once the red light is flashing behind you.

Vent alert:

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes, i appreciate it. Now the vent. People ask what i want for my birthday and i smile and say "nothing in particular" but here is what i really want.

Now blow out those candles and your wish will come true. Just one of those wishes, though. No piling on. Happy Birthday young fella!

Not starting with cinnamon, I'm starting with Ripe Strawberry. Here's where I'm at...
70PG/30VG
12mg/ml Nic
6% (.6ml) TFA Strawberry Ripe
Vaping in a ELeaf GS Tank with a NI200, 0.15ohm TC Coil at 430 degrees.

Taste is there but, not knocking my sox off. A mild (very) strawberry flavor and a strawberry aftertaste. Smell wonderful! Not particularly happy and looking for advice. Thanks in advance.
I use and like TFA Strawberry Ripe, but it isn't very strong. Going up in percentage is the right direction. One thing I often do is add 1% menthol or mint. Really wakes things up.

Or they might be right but, I don't think so. I was at 6% when I started. Thanks for the help.

I was thinking 1 or 2% Koolada to "brighten" it up without changing the flavor. What say you?

Never have had any Koolada. Ought to work. Don't fear being a mad scientist, because there's only one person whose taste matters when it comes to DIY joose. Personally, I can't think of a single flavoring that I'd hesitate to mix with any other flavoring. DIY gets easier and easier as you become familiar with the flavors that you have.

I know it's a widely held belief, but I don't agree with it, that too much flavoring can taste the same as too little flavoring.

I usually add 1 drop per 10ml of sweetner and 1 drop per 25 mL of Koolada to my straight strawberry mixes. Honestly though I have not made a TFA strawberry mix since my tastebuds came back to life. Back when I did make them it was at 15-20% though.

I think I'm close. Believe it or not iI just ate a vanilla suvar wafer and took a vape afterward and the cookie immediately tasted like a strawberry sugar water. Maybe it's just because this stuff really smells like strawberry. :D

I really want to thank all you guys for the birthday wishes. I was surprised how much it meant to me. This will be the third year in a row my parents, understandably, at their age, forget my birthday. My brother, also very understandably, will forget and apologize profusely later on. My mentally disabled cousin will remember and talk my ear off for an hour, bless him. Anyway, y’all made me smile and what a wonderful birthday gift that can be (especially when you are flipping over to another of those zero years, I mean 29). Thank you.
Don't feel alone. My wife always forgot my birthday unless I reminded her on a daily basis the week prior. There are numerous funny stories about her forgetting my birthday.

The hubbys Birthday I never forget. Our Anniversary? Well I have to break out the cake cutting set we used at the reception to check the year. ;)

Then again the wedding was sort of an accident anyways.

When did you change your name? I just noticed.
I got fed up with those who agitate for everyone to wean themselves down to 0mg. Did it this morning.

I guess part of it is emotional backlash from the person who will not be named.

Matt, I've seen it recommended to add a little lemon juice to fruity mixes to brighten & preserve a mix. Not enough to taste the lemon. It's supposed to keep the flavor from fading with time, also. I know it helped my blueberry cream, but I probably was too timid with it, because it still faded some after a few days. Still good, but I should have used more lemon juice for the 120 ml I made. I've also heard ACV used.
