Not going to buy an STM just to exeriment for flavor. Not worth it just to play around. I love my KFL+v2's. I don't need huge airflow. I have no plans other than that.
If you are going to use Kanthal the KFL can't be beat. I love em.

Well I hate to say it but the 25r's while being excellent batteries on the SX get about 23k J while the Lg get 29k J so about 20% more. I'm sure you will be very happy with the Samsungs but the LG are better.
And that is why I bought 4 rather than the 8 I need. I know I need to do more homework but right now the brain is not kicking into gear to do it right.

I don't think you get into really high amps unless you are using really low resistance coils like nickel then it is momentary because as the coil heats the resistance rises with nickel really fast. unless maybe you are using 200w then i think the mod will keep you from going that high. 20a batteries are more then sufficient for almost any mod. I could be mistooken about that too but I know that 20a will work fine on anything I use.

That is the boards output voltage and amperage. Battery amp draw is determined by the batteries voltage.
Yep if you put out 1 amp to the atty at above battery voltage then you are drawing more than 1 amp from the battery. It takes current to boost the battery voltage up.

Just to reiterate and possibly simplify for people who don't understand this

As the battery pressure (voltage) drops from 4.2V to 3.2V the amouny of current (amps) drawn from the battery goes up to maintain 12W.

W/V = A

12/4.2 = 2.68A
12/4 = 3A
12/3.8 = 3.16A
12/3.6 = 3.3A
12/3.4 = 3.53A
12/3.2 = 3.75A

This is why we use a mods cutoff voltage (generally 3.2V) to calculate the battery necessary for a regulated mod.

75W mod / 3.2V = 23.44A + 10%
60W mod / 3.2V = 18.75A + 10%
40W mod / 3.2V = 12.5A + 10%

Assuming 90% effiency the 10% is to account for converter losses.

 Simple and straightforward explanation.

I've always liked the idea of a modular design. I was thinking at one time of using Legos. Easily rearranged when the need arises. Never got around to it.

With a 3D printer, the possibilities are limitless.

now THIS I understood! and, I didn't know that. Of course, using mechs I don't have to worry about it, but it's nice to know. Thanks.

What's purple not the VG or PG LOL
lol an essential oils case I posted that I'm wondering if I could use to keep my batteries in. Wondering if the straps would be too loose or not.

Your VG is not purple?
hehehe that would be sooooooo kewl!!!

a re-designable vape stand... 3 sizes and many colors available... I'm doing this one for my sister and she likes purple.... I will replace the green ones with yellow once my yellow comes in, since I like green.
omgggggg Ken I LOVE this!! And......so nice to see something in purple!! That's a great sister you got there! hehehe That's even a pretty good purple too! Don't have a vape stand. I have a place to put one now, though. You keep doing stuff like that you may have to start taking orders hehehe
Dancin the lego idea was a really good one too!

I figured out why my new MiniStick clone fires constantly. The top cap/firing button is missing a spring.

I tried the top cap from my real MicroStick. It fits! Exact same size and threading. And, with a good top cap (that has a spring) it works great!

I'll have to put in a ticket with FT and try getting the spring.

In the meantime:

That's a Kayfun in there. Nice!

ETA: But, it does have a bit of a voltage drop. Not huge, but definite.
