First pack was 45 cents I was six years old.

Mom would send me to the corner store which was about two miles up the road with my Radio Flyer and a note pinned to my shirt (milk, beer, smokes) when I was five.

They were used to me gettin smokes for my mom so getting for myself and friends was no problem.

I did exactly the same: said I'd quit before paying $1 a pack. First time I broke that promise to myself was when I ran out of cigarettes on a 1975 or early 1976 night skiing trip to Great Gorge ski area. I felt like I was being robbed but put $1.25 in a cigarette machine there. They were still only about $0.75 everywhere else in NJ.

At that time, I always had a cigarette in my mouth. Skiing, playing tennis, driving, eating... didn't matter... always a cigarette going.

Ohhh My, can I ever relate! I was smoking while I was smoking!!! Not good at all. Thank goodness it's all behind us! My mom would give me a little note to hand to the lady behind the counter so they would give me her Chesterfield fix! My mom was also a NURSE!!! Should have known better, but doctors recommended Chesterfields! What a crazy world.

I do not pocket carry any of my KFL equipped PVs. I use a belt clipped cell phone case (box mods) or a maglight holder (tube mods) and I've never had an issue.:)

I use a hard-shell case that was meant for my eye glasses or an enema bag. To each her own! Happy Halloween!

Oh I remember a smoke in da mouth and one burning in the ash tray many times. Of course, today it won't burn in the ash tray since the gov decided they should add chemicals to keep them from burning too long. Fire hazard, ya know.
sigh...

As an ole timer myself, I still find myself wanting to try new things, it seems to never ends !!! I have tried ( And this is a rough estimate) probably in the neighborhood of 5-600 different eliquids.. My new search is for coffee flavors,,I dont really like extremely sweet liquids but slight sweetness is ok.. Also not wanting anything caramel based.. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated...

Regards,Harley.....
Tiramisu is my current ADV. But, it's DIY. It is a one flavor recipe though, so simple. Just take some unflavored juice and add 5 to 10% TFA Tiramisu (to taste).
What vendor has the cheapest prices right now?
Mebbe a tossup atm....

Ecigexpress is having a sale on, 20% off, through tomorrow. Code NICOTINE20

and HeartlandVapes as well.

Had just ordered another liter from them, so haven't looked a what Ecig's price is recently. :)
I just bought mine from Ecig Ecxpress. 20% off with coupon code. So, $40 plus $6.49 shipping.

I was just catching up from yesterday and noticed that we have several new folks other than just Butch. I guess I was remiss in not welcoming them as well. Let me make up for it now. It's always good to have new voices join our group. Keeps things fresh so welcome to all the new folks.
The front porch is supposed to be just vape related stuff although we do detour occasionally. We also have a Back Porch that is significantly less rigid to say the least. You all are welcome to join us there as well. I just posted a link to Butch but here it is again just in case...

Hi, Matt! How about we have a tree house, too? Only for those out of their trees!!! I bet Iffy and me plus plenty others would really feel at home there -- not that we are not home here already! My husband is concerned with the amount of time I spend here (not really) he is actually OVERJOYED I was able to quit smoking and we are going to have one huge BASH on my fifth anniversary! I can hardly wait! Happy Halloween!!!

Happy Halloween y'all!

I LOVE THAT GOURD!!! WOW! I have a pumpkin that is a lot like a Fairie Fall Pumpkin and it is covered in leaves -- kind of in the style of Cicely Mary Barker. I did one of South Park for the United Way. The person who did this is truly amazing! You might say she is "out of her gourd" in a GOOD way! How AWESOME! Every single time I want to post a pic I have to run to Walgreens and have my pics put on a disk, so we are going to get a cell phone and make our lives easier. I think we have been living in the wrong century and it's high time we leave the Renaissance and get with the times!!!

It's funny how the nano's (which by the name means very small) dwarfs the device that they are operating from...

Well you should see 'em w/ a full size KFL or better yet a Taifun. Yikes! Talk about top heavy.

First pack was 45 cents I was six years old.

Yep - me too. Mom would send me w/ a quarter to walk to the store and get her a pack of Kents. I got 2-cents change and could buy candy. By the time I started experimenting had no problem buying a pack for myself ... but dang Kents .. I wanted a real cigarette. Just didn't want to risk buying a different brand.

We go down the the woods and smoke that pack in about an hour. Then stumble on home.

Ain't it great that the GOBMENT watches out for our health and safety the way they do?!? I shudder to think of how many times I had left lit cigs all over the house before they were thoughtful enough to add that chemical. Bless them!!! How they LOVE us! And the RUSH we used to get after they learned how to pass the blood/brain barrier. It's hard to trick the blood/brain barrier, but the scientists that they paid hundreds of millions just so we could be high and alert in less than seven seconds should have won the Nobel prize. And now WE'RE the bad guys? Go figure!!!
